“We've been coming for the last few years with my boyfriends family for Christmas lunch. Food is always reliable and drinks are good. The food always makes great leftovers. Highly recommend the lunch specials if you go during that time. Service can be on the slower side but we've always sat on the side that doesn't have the bar.“
“For chinese food this place is by far the best! We love coming here all the time! I love their seafood soup and miso soup. Always a winner tome. The service is great as always. We come here so often that the servers already know us by face if not by name. If you come by on a Tuesday night, there is live jazz band music and oh man! they are very good! “J and J is my families new spot for Asain tasty treats. Jean is a fantastic owner. She makes you feel like family from the time you enter the establishment. Sushi was fresh and delicious. They even made a special chicken tempura roll for my wife and added it to their POS ordering system for future visits. We call it the Elisabet roll named after my wife of course. My kids smashed every morsel of food on their plates which is especially rare for my picky 6 year old daughter who just loved her fried rice and Salmon. Kids meals are adult size so it's a great value . I had two Scorpion ? Bowls which got me feeling pretty lively. I imagine moving forward we will be doning weekly at J & J . “This is my go to place when I'm looking for a standard takeout Chinese food restaurant. I don't think this is where you would go for authentic Chinese food, this is your classic Americanized Chinese food joint. The food is good and consistent. The portions are generous and the service is quick. The prices are standard and reasonable. I have never dined in, I always do takeout. Delivery is also pretty quick.“
“I had the hot and sour soup it was excellent and very fast delivery to the table I also ordered a 16 piece chef sushi sampler that was also excellent and pretty quick. I had more than enough to eat for the price and the amount of sushi they got me. I would highly recommend this place.“

My friends and my husband were so impressed with our overall experience, the cocktails were excellent, the service was top notch and the food was by far the BEST Chinese food we have ever eaten. “This place is near my home and quite convenient. I do like the food and find it quite tasty. The sushi variety is vast and the Chinese food is delicious and not overly cooked. I often order takeout. The atmosphere can feel cold and lonely so I think I might try sitting at the bar when I go there next. I know this is might feel minor but I am miffed that you have to buy white rice with dishes that normally come with rice, such as General Tso Chicken. And it's $4 so that's not to be taken lightly. So I don't order as often as I would like because my husband takes offense to this, as do I.“

“For years I was always under the impression that this was Beverly's worst Chinese food restaurant. The lobby is dingy and outdated blah blah blah. Well I was wrong. My husband was in charge of ordering take out one night and our usual place wasn't answering their phone. In frustration he called China Wok. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious and actually better than our usual go to. Don't judge a book by its cover. The food was delicious“
