“I've learned to be skeptical of questionable reviews. I was unable to get a reservation as we got to Rockport so late. That said, we took a chance and boy am I glad we did! Got lucky to get a booth in this bustling place! First of all the waitress (Buffy) was phenomenal. Second, the food DELICIOUS. We had the blackened/grilled fresh haddock and salmon with rice and yummy beets. They even brought fresh rolls! Drinks were excellent as was the wine. Everyone here works very hard to ensure that you are well taken care of and that you enjoy your dining experience. HIGHLY recommend and encourage a reservation as you might be lucky enough to score a table by the water!“
“The Emerson Inn is a quaint hotel with the most kind of people working there. From the moment you walk through the doors you feel the immediate welcome and are instantly at peace. The Parlor Bar is a wonderful treat with delicious drinks and food. With all that being said, I feel that what makes the Emeson such an amazing place is everyone that works there. They make you feel at home, they are kind and accommodating!“
“Came in soaking from the rain, bar tender came over immediately and got us Hot Toddy’s. Bar tender was really really cute with our toddler too, and brought us oyster crackers while we waited for a table. Food was fantastic and I just don’t know that I’ve ever received personal service like this anywhere in the U.S. I’ve worked and traveled in 30-35 states so I’ve had a wide sampling!!“
“Stopped to get a lobster roll. The place is as advertised, very basic! In good weather the location is awesome. They have outside tables with an amazing view! The day I was here was cold! It had a gas log stove inside, but was really chilly inside. Don't think they have any other heat! The lobster roll was very generous, lots of nice chunks. Served with French fries right out of the fryer, so nice and hot. A bit too much mayo for my taste on the lobster, but the lobster tasted good. $28 for the lobster roll today.“

“OMG... Awesome!! Great personal service, from the owner no less. She sized us up when we walked in and said, "just a minute", "sure, no rush", And then the waitress brought us upstairs to our table by a huge picture window overlooking the ocean (downstairs was pretty busy). Heaven for both of us. Thank you so much. Started with the veggie chili, then the Best scallops and artichokes I've ever had, My partner had the veggie sandwich and loved it. Great decor, lots of interesting things, beautiful view, Can't wait to go back.“
“Feather and wedge is my favorite fine dining restaurant in Massachusetts. The food is fantastic. I’ve never been a fan of broccoli rabe before but I get it with the steak fairly often nowadays. The staff is also stellar. Highly recommend.“
