Dairy Maids hours change by season. They are always open way later than they should be when in season. Serving that never ending line. The fact those employees can keep scooping and smiling after serving hundreds of people a day during season makes them superstars. Picture as many ice cream flavors, toppings, and treats you can think of, then double it because that is what Long Beach Dairy Maid provides and exceeds. Have been coming here on our yearly family trips since I was a kid. Always friendly staff and best Ice cream in town- especially if you like soft serve!

My husband picked up a hot fudge sundae for us after we came in late to our hotel in Gloucester. It was delicious!! We were staying at Cape Ann Motor Inn and ate it on the balcony watching the waves in the moonlight. It was the perfect dessert I could have asked for that night. Exactly what you'd expect, hot fudge and vanilla ice cream, but the flavors were really good.
