We took out a bunch of food from here tonight for the first time. There were five of us eating, and we shared many tasty dishes. I am wondering if there is MSG in this food? It tasted very sweet and in certain of the dishes, a little gummy, and candied. Most of what we got though was very delicious and we enjoyed sharing everything.
This restaurant totally hit the spot for lunch today. The vibe was warm and inviting, and the lemongrass soup was a total game-changer. The broth was so flavorful and refreshing, with hints of ginger and spice that really kicked things up a notch.

I haven’t left a review in years but after eating at Zhu Vegan I had to. I saw the fried ice cream and had to come but this place but everything we ordered far exceeded our expectations. The orange seitan, mango soy protein, scallion pancakes, and soy nuggets were all fantastic. Everything was fresh and perfectly fried.
