Not much seating, too small and quiet for a private conversation, and the guy at the counter looked unhappy. The place is honestly a mess and run down. Cambridge location night and day nicer.
I don't know if Barisimo serves food, but their coffee game is legit. In fact, half of the storefront is set aside for processing beans. When I went, the service was very friendly and casual. The ambience is that of an independently owned coffee shop with lots of plants. They have a couple of picnic tables outside on Mass Ave for enjoying your beverages.
