It's good coffee.
One of my favorite places to get a cortado. Very consistent, no frills with a focus on espresso and coffee.
This coffee shop is intended for connoisseurs. Some of the best coffee in Boston, and as opposed to many others, usually not too crowded. No WiFi, which is not always a bad thing.

Barismo, a quaint coffee shop with on-site bean roasting in Boston, offers a great flat white and delicious coffee that is always fresh. The shop has a great selection of unique and rare beans roasted daily. While the Cambridge location is much nicer, the Boston spot lacks seating and is a bit run down. The friendly and casual service, along with the quirky, plant-filled ambience, creates an independently owned feel. Customers have enjoyed the rosemary scone with strawberry jam, describing it as life-changing. With picnic tables outside for people watching, Barismo is a perfect spot for coffee lovers. Although the baristas can be hit and miss, the coffee is consistently good. The café is a nice place to walk in and sit for a while, and they are hiring more baristas soon.
