Not much seating, too small and quiet for a private conversation, and the guy at the counter looked unhappy. The place is honestly a mess and run down. Cambridge location night and day nicer.

I don't know if Barisimo serves food, but their coffee game is legit. In fact, half of the storefront is set aside for processing beans. When I went, the service was very friendly and casual. The ambience is that of an independently owned coffee shop with lots of plants. They have a couple of picnic tables outside on Mass Ave for enjoying your beverages. This is a bonus for people who don't want to sit inside during the germy seasons. It's also good for people watching if you like that sort of thing (& I do!).

The iced latte is really good, but everything else is very mid. No gluten free or allergy friendly options, ok service, and no Wi-Fi so you can’t sit and work there. Really cute atmosphere if you’re meeting a friend. Outdoor seating. Otherwise just ok.

Tip defaulted to 33%. You have to be careful when paying. I find that shady.

this is a lovely little place with pretty plants, delicious coffee and pastries, and kind people! i love sitting in the sunshine with a little espresso. they have many nice espresso drinks. i have yet to try the pourover, but it is next on my list! :)Dietary restrictions: many vegan sweets and they have alternative milks for coffee :)

** Do Not Get An Espresso Subscription !! They falsely advertise the CLOCKWORK subscription. What is posted on the website vs what I received. The Espresso is outright bitter and sour - described as "peach" , "apricot", "citrus". Disgusting. Espresso is supposed to be caramel and chocolate as described when you sign up on the subscription page !! You can look at the beans, they are not even dark roasted, they are medium to lightly roasted. What is going on here? If you can't roast the beans a bit more, and deliver what is advertised - cancel the subscription service.

Ordered a 10oz Americano, very tasty. Lone Barista was even kind even to wipe down an outside table for me after it had rained. Overall a great place to drop in for a morning break!

Delicious coffee, very fresh! They have a great selection of unique and rare beans which are roasted fresh on a daily basis. They also have assorted foods and you can buy a coffee and espressos by the cup as well.

This place was strange. There were 2 girls behind the counter. No one addressed me. I was waiting for a friend so I sat down. When I did get up to order, there was a sign instructing me to order from the kiosk computer. Ok. Then when my coffees were ready she placed them on the counter and and hardly announced in a quiet voice that they were ready. It seems like she could have offered them to me or acknowledged me since I was the only one there who ordered. Very unfriendly.Coffee and scone were good which is why they got a 2.

The coffee was undrinkable. It tasted burned and bitter. Too bad this place could be such a great neighborhood spot if they would make their beverages with more care.

Oh boy - how disappointing. This is probably the weakest cup of coffee I have had recently. It used to be good but it has for sure gone down hill. The coffee was not hot and tasted watered down. Skip it!

I Had the pompous server behind the counter lecture me on why I should not put cream or milk in my coffee when I asked for some because there was none on the counter. Waited forever for a pour-over that was weak and overpriced. I was hoping that they would go out of business during Covid.
