“I have never had any issues regarding service or food at pacific grove the food is delicious and staff and very friendly. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is due to the fact that on a couple of occasions, the other patrons can get a little too rowdy for my taste, and some have even got confrontational. However, this again isn't due to lack of service from the establishment, but due to lack of judgment from other patrons on how much they can drink.“

“Food was phenomenal! Super spicy and deep flavor. The portions were generous. My favorite Sichuan dish is shui zhu yu and they had it. It’s listed as fish and vegetables in chili broth on the menu. I was not disappointed and I wish I lived in town so I could get it more often.My husband got the chili squid and he asked for it extra spicy. They accommodated but made sure to keep the balance of the flavors. It was so well cooked and the squid was buttery tender. My husband was super happy with it.My friend got the shredded chicken dish and it was love at first bite. The chicken was crispy outside but super tender and moist on the inside. Had a nice spicy kick.One thing that should be noted is that rice isn’t included in the entrees. They charge $2.50. Normally this would upset me because rice is such an essential part of the meal, but the food was so good, I don’t even care lol. 10/10 would recommend.“

This was the best dumplings i’ve ever had and most creative options for dumplings!! they have soup dumplings, which were very unique and were absolutely delicious and fun to try. i had the pork soup dumplings and highly recommend them! their fried pork dumplings were also incredibly good and they have their own unique style as well with flaky crust that adds a slight crunch to the dumplings. No one came to check if everything was ok, or offer water refill. Kung Pao chicken was more sweet than spicy. Would not order again. Crab rangoon was overcooked and hard to eat. Went during a Saturday lunchtime. Very few customers until close to end of lunch special time. On-street parking, so limited by time of day and other business customers on the same street. It's a little "hole in the wall" place; easy to miss. In all fairness, I would try it once more to see if other dishes are better.“

Against all odds and expectations, it has gone from a really good spot to an even better, great restaurant. They have updated the menus, leaning harder into the authentic dishes that had set them apart, and brought an exciting energy. It's always bustling but never overwhelming. Welcoming and warm. To be honest, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the beef tendon noodles, pancake fruit, tofu noodles, sauced bones, meat skewers, sweet and sour pork loin, and couple’s lung slices, and I’m quite surprised to be able to eat beef tendon noodles and tofu noodles. actually. . There are no serious dishes mentioned here, mainly because we all love to eat dumplings and basically eat dumplings hahaha. I highly recommend you try them, they are really good! The skewers really worth the money as they’re big pieces, very juicy and tender. As for the rice box $9 is a bit pricey for the spareribs. They were so dry and hard with no flavor. However, the fried rice itself was great. Still super full after throwing out the spareribs and still leftover.
