Great restaurant! We were used to getting takeout from the previous Chinese restaurant at this same address, and were surprised to see an emphasis on dining in this time around! The large tables (seating 9-10 people) look like a great option for when family comes to town. The staff are extremely friendly and the food was delicious!
Stopped by to get a quick lunch as I heard this place just opened. Good flavor and great service. Would come again.
Best meal I’ve had in a while. Everything was amazing!

Beijing Tasty House is a great restaurant and probably a favorite Chinese restaurant in the Boston area. The restaurant emphasizes dining in, and the large tables seating 9-10 people look like a great option for when family comes to town. The staff are extremely friendly, and the food was delicious. The platter had a generous variety of appetizers, and everything tried was delicious. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. It is the only restaurant in the Boston area serving authentic Northern Chinese cuisine. The dumplings are handmade and they are good, and the service was also great. The kungpao chicken was especially liked, and the guobao rou is worth trying next time. Everything ordered was delicious and full of flavor. The cold noodles were the biggest surprise — absolutely amazing — with a broth that was refreshing and flavorful, with a wonderful balance of sweet, tangy, savory and slightly spicy flavors. The Beef Tripe with Green Sichuan Pepper (藤椒百叶) and the Hunan-Style Stir-Fried Beef (小炒黄牛肉) were also really enjoyed. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the green Sichuan pepper tripe had a wonderful fresh, fragrant kick. The Stir-Fried Smoked Pork with Dried Tofu (香干炒腊肉) and Qianlong Cabbage with Sesame Dressing (乾隆白菜) were also excellent. Every dish had its own character, and a lot of care goes into the cooking. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. The value for the money is excellent. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The service was also great, making the whole experience very enjoyable.
