“The service is prompt, courteous, and attentive! The drinks are creative and presented well. The food? You MUST go there to experience the amazing profile and range of flavors in these dishes. From the appetizers, to the entrees, and even the desserts, you will be blown away! The $1 oysters (Blue Point, Hello?) are freshly shucked and served with chontaduro sauce (native Colombian fruit) that is sweet, tart, spicy, and VERY addictive. The menu changes seasonally, which always makes me wonder what tantalizing dishes the chef will come up with next! The patacones, empanadas, and chicken wings (sweet or SPICY) are always top notch. The SPICY wings, in particular, are the BEST I've ever had, and I've had plenty! A special shout out to any dish featuring pork belly. The way it's prepared (crispy but not burned) makes it a welcome component in any entree or appetizer, whether it's the star ingredient or a supporting role. Finally, a special request for the chef: PLEASE bring back the baby back ribs (with the AMAZING Panela syrup)! Panela, in my opinion, is THE go-to restaurant in Lowell for anyone looking for a unique tasting experience, as well as top notch service.”
“I hosted an event in The Old Court's function room this week, and I could not recommend it more highly. Finbarr and his team were so helpful and kind in the planning process and the day of the party. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The food we ordered was delicious (special mention to the potato skins). Cole was our bartender upstairs, and he was quick, friendly, and helpful, making sure everyone had a good experience and that we had what we needed at the end of the night. I would absolutely use the function space again, and will be back for meals in the meantime. Thank you!!”
“Very quaint and comfortable atmosphere. The food and drinks are fantastic . The inside is very nice and the staff are impeccable people. Great place to get out and relax for a bit no pressure pure bliss!”
“Great food and nice service. The owners are so awesome and supportive to the community. Love Jade Lowell.”

“We came for a conference here in Lowell and it broke out for lunch and thousands of people were looking for a place to eat all at once so it was super super busy and the line was long but the gentleman who was the server, the bus boy and everthing else all in one... did a fantastic job.. all with a smile and great service. The food was one of the best I've had in a Mexican restuaruant as well so I know the cooks know what they are doing. I can not get over how one man got everything done with such an amazing attitude. I hope noone complains about the wait because the service and food were outstanding.”
“Have had different types of lamb here, all delicious. All staff is friendly and attentive, even if they are not your immediate server. Decor is enjoyable to look at especially the portraits of Greece. Bathroom is upstairs, not handicap accessible.”
“this was my favorite place before and cant wait to get back. just found out open again.”

“Amazing food with a good veggie and fish selection. The owner is friendly, attentive and has a great sense of humor. He asked us how hot we want the Fish with Chilli, on a scale of 1 to 10, and I said 7 maybe 8... and "I don't mind if my eyes water a bit". After taking our order he came back with some napkins and said "here, in case you start crying". We all laughed. We had also ordered the green beans and they were so tasty. For starter we ordered the sesame bamboo shoots. They were a cold appetizer. Absolutely delicious and crunchy and slightly spicy. When I drank my water I noticed a slight "ting" or numbness on my tongue. A tell-tale sign of Szechuan Pepper. I asked him and he said yeah, they infuse it in the oil or something. Anyway, seriously, do not miss the place. If you're thinking about driving down to Billerica or Burlington to go to Sichuan Gourmet, consider Oxyear. Nothing against those places, but Oxyear is honestly right up there with them in terms of quality, selection, and taste. You will not be disappointed.
Vegetarian options: Like most Chinese restaurants, there are plenty of offerings that are mostly vegetables. We know you can't always assume the vegetable dishes aren't made with any animal products. It's best to ask. We are pescetarian for the most part, and we thought it was a great selection of veggies as well as fish.
Parking: It's the old Vic's which means there are at least 23 parking spots (I counted them from Google Street View) literally next door. No idea why people are saying there is no parking unless maybe they went when it was completely full? In that case, you do have to search a bit for street parking but I have parked in that lot (to go to Vic's and now Oxyear) for 6 years and have never seen that lot more than half full.”
“Go inside sit down and enjoy some of the best Asian cuisine around!”
“I stumbled on this place while doing an event at mill no.5 and was so delighted with everything about it! I thought it was a spanish speaking restaurant from a distance, which made me feel confident enough to go in and order, but the workers and customers spoke portuguese haha! despite the two of us having a language barrier, the server made sure I knew what I was ordering and was very patient. the restaurant was cozy and the presentation of the food was so beautiful! I almost ordered the fish but I wanted something new and ordered the chicken gizzard dish. and guys, oh my god, it was AMAZING!!!!!! I do not have words for how good this was lol! Included was also a heaping pile of perfectly cooked rice (which makes all the difference) and a sausage side dish. I ate it slowly through the entirety of the event at mill no. 5 and still have leftovers in my fridge!! such a great deal for the price. Next time I think I'll bring my brazilian in-law and order some dessert lol”
“I’ve been to Dragonfly a few times, and it’s been great each visit. Very comfortable atmosphere, tasty food items, and strong coffee drinks. The baristas are always super nice too.”
“This is the best authentic halal food I've had. I was shocked at how great this place, but I certainly am not disappointed. The food is so flavorful, you get a massive quantity, and it's very reasonably priced. I now go here all the time, and make sure I always stop here if I am anywhere near Lowell. I always get the chicken and lamb over rice and I always have the biggest smile on my face whenever I eat it. The mix of the cooling white sauce and the spicy red sauce is just incredible. I've known so many people that have gone here and I have never heard a single complaint. Everything about this place is phenomenal and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice halal rice bowl or gyro.”
“very kind and friendly staff, delicious gluten free vegan falafel pizza and gluten free vegan cheese marinara pizza with fresh tomatoes topping”
“Went here for a late brunch on Sunday. The food was great. Our waitress came by at least 4 times before we could place our order to ask if we were ready. That was a little weird, but otherwise a great experience. Lots of local crowds. Tips are cash only. There's an ATM on the premises. If that's out of order you could add it to your card.”
“they were so kind! I came in 30 mins before closing with out realizing until I started eating my meal. They didn't rush me at all. I did leave prior to closing. I appreciate the good food and friendly atmosphere and kind staff. thank you! -Megan and service dog zorro”
“Outstanding sandwiches, creative specials with high quality ingredients. A very friendly staff . Comfortable, clean and always playing good music. Try their soups or smoothies also. This place checks all the boxes include fair prices. I highly recommend.”
“Freshest Vietnamese food in Lowell. My new favorite lunch!”
“Good soup!!! Amazing sauce bar!! Great service!! What more do you need??”
“Impeccable service, quality and affordable food, and a very welcoming atmosphere. I've visited all diners in the area and they all pale in comparison. The pawtucketville diner is undoubtedly the Hidden Gem of Lowell.”

“My daughter in law’s lovely large Khmer family really wanted to go to this restaurant! We drove from Ny and the other family members flew in from CA and drove from CT. The food was fantastic and quite flavorful. We got a real smorgasbord of various dishes that we all enjoyed. My favorites were the Khmer chicken wings-outstanding crunch and flavor (I like them better than Buffalo wings), and my absolute favorite, lemongrass chicken. Every other dish was amazing, too. We certainly want to go back here!”

“We discovered Eggroll Cafe when they had a location in Warwick, RI. The food is so good that we drive almost an hour and a half to eat there. My favorite things to get are the cheeseburger egg rolls, chicken fried rice, and mango juice tea. The staff is always a very pleasant and friendly.
Parking: There is only metered street parking here, and it's down the street from UMASS, so at certain times, parking can get tough.”
“We had a little time while attending an event to walk and grab something quick for lunch. So, we popped into this very historic looking establishment. They were very friendly and seated us immediately. They had tons to choose from but we decided on a few hot dogs, Cole slaw, and some lemonade. Everything was very good and we enjoyed our visit.”
“Everything here is pricey especially for the portion size but none the less delicious.
The Saigon Coffee and Kona Mocha Frappe are both a must try!!”
“Great service food was great the lady I talked to is so kind”
“Gorgeous place, gorgeous atmosphere, impeccable staff. Issue was my delicious turkey sandwich would have been a 5/5 but as i was eating it I realized that they left the wrapper from the cheese on it and cooked it with the sandwich. So as I was eating my sandwich with the cheese I was eating the paper. Since I was on a date, i didn’t want to make a fuss about it but it wasn’t pleasant spitting food out onto napkins.
The meal was scrumptious nevertheless but that wrapper inside wasn’t enticing :-(”
“so so good, been wanting to try and now we need to come back and try more. service and food was outstanding”
“The food is great, although small portions for what a Bandeja paisa should be. The servers are in a nice way, just slow at what they do. They're nice just not very attentive. It takes a long time for them to come get your order. And then when you got our cash out, if you don't have your debit card ready to go, it takes a good while for them to come back and the place is not very big. I found myself double tipping. Sense the tip was already included. That is my fault for not paying close attention. Overall The food is actually really really good ?. I do enjoy going because of the food alone. The empanadas are great.”
“Just had an AMAZING Ribs, Pulled Pork, Mac n Cheese, and Slaw dinner catered for 10 friends last night! Thank You Mill City BBQ and Brew! Been to the restaurant many times. Always the same friendly staff, atmosphere, and GREAT food. Can't recommend them highly enough!!”
“amazing ramen and very sweet service. would highly recommend”
“Got Chicken lo mein for takeout for lunch yesterday , it was very good , very hot and fresh. Decent amount of chicken and veggies everything was cooked perfectly.”
“This is by far my favorite Chinese Food in Lowell. I’ve tried many places and I feel like the food is always fresh and flavorful compared to other places. Prices are fair with great portions. I have not had a bad food item here and I’ve tried several including the sushi menu.”
“The best food ever. This place is a hidden gem. I love their grilled fish, half chicken, lamb shank, although everything is great, these are my 3 favorite items. Spacious, very clean and quiet place, great to dine in with family/kids.”
“Must commend Avni for the excellent service provided by her.”

“George the GM is an amazing manager. I had a situation and I lost my temper. Not only did George keep his composer, he handled the whole situation like a true gentleman and the way a leader would
Keep up the outstanding work.10/10.”
“First time coming to this Burger King and the service was fantastic! Me and my friends got our food in less than 5 minutes. Our food was good and hot. Fries were freshly hot and the place is clean. I'll definitely come again if I'm in the area!”
“Great food, I do like traditional food that tastes traditional, the decoration is very nice, reflecting the Colombian-Latino roots with elegance. Highly recommend”
“Their potion is great. I always order the Kathew Phnom Penh Dry at Khmer restaurants; this is up there in taste and quality. My friend got the hot wings with papaya salad. I tried the papaya salad and it was hitting (great). It was not spicy but it was a bit sweet with the taste of salted crabs. You can always add chill, it is at the table.
Parking: You need to come during slow days/hours to park in their lot. There are only 6/8 spots. But there is plenty of street parking if you are lucky.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Owners made it a point to speak with us. Very friendly and caring staff. The breakfast is better than any you’d find around. Will definitely return for breakfast again and also will try the lunch!! Give them a try!”
“Good food, friendly staff, reasonable pricing. I ordered the steak w onions special which was enough food for 2 people. Tostones were freshly cooked and delicious although I'm more used to plantains a little less ripe. The steak flavor was delicious but a bit dry probably because I arrived shortly before closing.”
“Cozinha Nossa did an amazing job catering an event for me. The food was absolutely outstanding!!! Best I've ever had. The portions were plentiful and everyone was raving about the taste and freshness. The owners are so kind and flexible. The owner himself delivered all the food. Definitely going to be my go to place going forward !”

“Great food and nice service. The owners are so awesome and supportive to the community. Love Jade Lowell.”
“This is my go to place to find loklak and pho noodle soup, great service and the people who work there are very kind and genuine. if I chose a place to eat with my family, this would be one of them!!!!”
“Exactly what you'd expect from a local . Just like it was in the 1920s. A landmark eatery. Get "The Works" imo. Even Ed McMahon ate there. You'll see the newspaper clipping in the walls. Expect Boston style service.”
“One of the best salads around. Greek salad with a scoop of their delicious tuna is my favorite. Always fresh and crunchy. Excellent service with a smile every time.”
“Good food, service was overall good, and the atmosphere reminded me so much of that homey feeling (I'm picturing my mom in the kitchen, playing Khmer music on the radio, while she's cooking dinner for the whole family. )”
“Love their pizza !! Their grilled chicken greek salad is awesome !”
“Wow, had the chicken tikka masala pizza for lunch. Was such a pleasant surprise how delicious this was. What a great idea for this fusion. I will definitely e coming back for more!!!”
“We got 2 large platters (one hot and one raw) for 4 adults. WoW. That was a lot of food. The presentation was beautiful, one on a boat and the other on a bridge. The pieces were huge and very fresh. A lot of different combinations to try. The waitstaff was so nice. Highly recommend!”
“This is one store I don't mind traveling to. It's clean and organized. I love the many seafood selections. Where else locally can you buy Mantis Shrimp, Manila Clams, or Mud Crab? Staff is very welcoming. I haven't had a bad experience.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Went for the first time today. Oh my gosh! The variety of old fashioned artisan donuts and other pastries, made fresh there daily; and presented in a beautiful glass display case; brought me back to when I was a kid…. So good! Coupled with great coffee, barista beverages and other food (e.g. egg sandwiches, ascai bowls, etc); this is a “don’t miss” destination.”
“This place is the definition of a HIDDEN GEM. My boyfriend and I wanted to grab a quick bite after the gym and we came across El Bunker on Google. When we walked in we were greeted by Camilla who is the sweetest! She was making Pão de Quiejo and they were AMAZING. (even better than fogo de chao in my opinion)We both got the Cuban sandwich which was so yummy. The bread was toasted and the garlic sauce really made the sandwich. I also got the guava shake and it was delicious and my boyfriend got a coffee with condensed milk which he loved. This place deserves more recognition for the quality of food and service they provide. Definitely will be visiting more!”
“I just want to say I order both app and through drive thru. Both are always done as quickly as possible, even when there's a long line. It's the only Dunkin's I'll go to because I know my drinks will always be done correctly. Also I want to give a huge shout out to the crew who works in the afternoon/evening. They are always extremely friendly and so kind. Usually always the same workers, so I look forward to getting my drinks from them. I hope they get some recognition for their great customer service!”
“My mom had a bogo deal on her app, so we got homewrecker bowls. Absolutely delicious! Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. When we walked in the manager gave us chili queso to try! It was really good! I also loved the cilantro style salsa! (The only "negative" was that we were missing shredded cheese on our bowls, but it didn't bother us much). One bowl is really two meals.... do it!”
“This is truly one of the best real Indian restaurants I've been to, awesome service, very friendly staff, the place is very clean and has a great vibe, and their prices are so modest compared to the quality. I eat there regularly you can't go wrong!”
“Excellent!!! That's how I feel after visiting this location and get that coffee in my hands. The team is always friendly and professional which makes writing this review a piece of cake. I come to this location because they always get it right!! I always try to work with Kelly since she is on point and I know she will get me started off on the right foot. Great location, fast service exceptional!!!”
“Best chicken fingers and curley fries. Always fast, friendly service.”
“Angelina's is consistently good. The grilled chicken is the best in Lowell. The pizza is top tier, and the desserts they stock are delicious.
You can't go wrong ordering here.”
“I have been staying at a hotel near here and going to this Starbucks nearly every day this week. I think the workers here are phenomenal. They have great customer service, remembering me and my order. And they all work together really well. Thanks for the great service!”
“Okay, I very rarely take time out to write a review, let alone a review of a Taco Bell, BUT I just had to give a shout out to the amazing staff here! I have never had such a kind interaction with a quick service food crew! Literally the whole crew working there was polite, kind, and smiling. They went out of their way to help not only me, but all of their customers that I saw come through. I know people say that young kids do not know how to interact with adults nowadays …well, those people have not seen this staff! Honestly, what an amazing group of employees! I hope the owner of this Taco Bell gives them the praise they deserve.”
“The dude with dreads and glasses. I believe his name is Ben. He went above and beyond for my son and I. I had a baby bottle hidden under my coat, so he must have assumed we didn't have anything to drink. He quickly went out of pocket to give my son and I a drink, then quickly went back to work. Workers like this deserve an incentive because I didn't like this Wendy's before but now I don't mind it thanks to the new staff such as people like Ben.”
“Been in line 15 mins so far and only moved up 1 spot. about 5 cars infront of me still. crazy slow also doesnt help to see someone outside taking a smoke break when u have a line wrapped around the building and into the street. still waiting in line mind you. been about 20 mins now and only 2 cars have gotten their orders so far. never again”
“Amazing staff. Great food and an amazing place to come together!”
“This is by far my favorite Chinese Food in Lowell. I’ve tried many places and I feel like the food is always fresh and flavorful compared to other places. Prices are fair with great portions. I have not had a bad food item here and I’ve tried several including the sushi menu.”

Dietary restrictions: I was easily able to get non-dairy milk for my coffee.”
“Love this place...food is sooo yummyy....it's a in the back corner of a convention store so obviously the atmosphere is not there. But of you look for really good very reasonably priced food go there!!”
“Rizzo’s is my go to place for takeout. They have a wide variety to choose from. Their food is very good, and the delivery service is fast and friendly. The last couple of times,I got a surprise with my orders. The piece of chocolate cake this time was very much appreciated. Love Rizzo’s.”
“I ordered three dozen cupcakes for my sons party and they were a hit! Little Delights is our go to for parties and events. Great tasting food and wonderful service!”
“Love this place! Super excited to have so many vegan options.”
“Great spot to grab tonkotsu and miso ramen in the Merrimack Valley. Their crispy chicken bao is my favorite item in the menu. Drinks are okay - their Mai Tai is more typical of what you get at an old school Chinese restaurant and not a true cocktail bar, basically a mix of fruit juice and rum instead of rums, Curaçao, orgeat, and lime. If that's what you're looking for you'll love it.
The service is friendly, prompt, and the last time we visited the waitress was doubling as hostess and managing it all well with frequent table check-ins. There was live music on our last visit, and the quality was also high.
It's a reliable date spot, and one I'll return to again and again.
Parking: No dedicated parking lot, you either street park or park around the corner a 2 minute walk away at the large paid garage near the cotton mill museum.”
“The best food ever. This place is a hidden gem. I love their grilled fish, half chicken, lamb shank, although everything is great, these are my 3 favorite items. Spacious, very clean and quiet place, great to dine in with family/kids.”
“Gotta try the late night trend wrap! Went in on a Sunday night after the holiday - Quick bite to eat and the wife ordered tenders - good Buffalo and sweet Thai chili sauce ?”
“We checked out the new Koto location to have dinner and then catch some bands playing. The waitstaff were still getting up to speed, but they were still great. The food was fantastic, and the party scorpion bowl is definite order. Here's to a solid restaurant offering thrilling live music.”

“Wings and spring rolls were delicious. Best wings I've ever had. No prices on menu, only photos of dishes. Asked ahead of ordering. Overcharged by $12. Mentioned and a portion of charge removed. Too lazy to argue any further. Will go back, but making sure of prices by asking wait staff to write it down.”
“Must commend Avni for the excellent service provided by her.”
“I never comment or post about a restaurant, however since eating here I cannot stop thinking about it. Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and live music that was good and not so loud you couldn’t hear the staff or other members in your party speaking. The jerk chicken alone is enough of a reason to visit this place. I highly recommend Sahel to anyone, even if it’s just for drinks and an appetizer.”

“I gave it four stars because it is a decent standard Chinese buffet with the normal choices. I’ve had better buffets, but I certainly have had worse. I would say this is in the middle of the pack. Solid choice when you want to have a Chinese food fix. The sushi and dessert options are fairly limited, but otherwise good. I like to go to these kinds of places because I can get plenty of vegetables. The green beans are good.”
“For me, this is the best pizza in Massachusetts. I went to UMass Lowell and regret not eating here more often.
I live near Worcester and work in Boston now, I still make it a point to get to Lowell sometimes just to eat the linguica pizza.
No place else can satisfy the craving i have for Santoro's. They are in a league of their own! Its exactly the same as I remember! Totally worth the drive.
Wings are great too.”
“Always have a good experience here, everything made fresh to order, great service (loved Mel, she was amazing and attentive)Great option for take-out or a cozy quiet dine-in, especially recommend if you love authentic brazilian food.
