Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. charming atmosphere and quality offerings
The people are always kind, the cafe is accessible for me and my walker, and it has both indoor and outdoor seating options with nice decor.
Nibbāna Café offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, complete with a selection of free books, fresh plants, and handmade pottery. Their Vietnamese coffee, including Robusta bean options and unique cold foam, has received high praise. Popular menu items include the Creme Bruleé and Salted Caramel lattes. The café is community-focused, and it shows in the staff's enthusiasm and the owners' commitment to "right living." While the original location is temporarily closed for renovations, customers look forward to visiting their second location, which features plenty of seating and parking. The coffee, provided by local roaster Tiny Arms, is generally light-to-medium roast, and the café offers an array of interesting and unusual coffee drinks.
