Bun's House 四川冒菜 Reviews
Crab rangoon was good, and General Gau's chicken was crispy and and delicious, but SPICY! If you can't handle spice, order something else.
This is a place that you can be very adventurous with food choices or go with some standard dishes. My being of the non adventurous type I went with the Kung Pao Chicken - in my POV it was the best I have had.
Service was great as well. Look forward to returning.
Food is really authentic - the dry mala pot is the way to go! Delicious and affordable

Bun's House 四川冒菜 serves authentic Sichuan food from southwestern China, not Americanized Chinese food. The menu has bold, pungent, and spicy flavors. Popular dishes include 酸菜鱼pickled vegetables and fish stew, 猪肉碎米牙菜pork belly with preserved vegetables, wonton, Szechuan dumplings, pork and cabbage dumplings, brown sugar fried rice cakes, eggplant with minced pork, dry cooked string beans, and beef with scallions and ginger. The beef and pork intestines are very tender, and the fried peanuts in the sour spicy glass noodle taste great. The chili soup base is great, with good portions for three people. The food is easily the best Sichuan food in town around the greater Boston area. Nothing is too spicy or salty, just the right flavor, though some may find it a bit salty. Service is excellent—knowledgeable, efficient, and responsive. There is a water pitcher on the table for self serve, and after ordering, diners are left alone to chat. Atmosphere is what is normally expected from an authentic Chinese food restaurant. Plenty of spicy and non-spicy options are available. Highly recommend for authentic Sichuan food.
