Hands down the best Sichuan food around. I wish I lived closer. Still it’s worth the ride.

Drove 45 minutes for nothing, fix your god damned online hours if you want to be closed earlier! Not sure when they actually closed but they were not open at 8:30 on a Sunday. Google and yelp both said OPEN.

We've gotten take away twice and I've had mixed experiences. The first time I had ma po tofu which was very peanuty and unlike any ma po I've had before. I was not a fan and just ate garlic broccoli, which was as expected. The second time I got the dry braised vegetables and they were HOT. So good though. My partner always gets the szechuan chicken and loves it.

Fantastic food and a careful, attentive owner/manager. My husband and I have come just a couple of times but it was totally worth it both times. This time we got Sichuan dumplings, cumin lamb, sliced pork in special sauce, Sichuan green beans, and garlic bok choi. I can't pick a favorite because they were all so good in their own ways. The dumplings were different from the standard version you get in America, steamed/boiled and they came in a delicious savory and slightly sweet soy-based sauce. Everything was freshly prepared and hot - the garlic bok choi was especially steaming hot. It's really amazing to get that kind of service at most restaurants since many places will have your food waiting for a bit before the server brings them to you. The owner/manager was considerate and attentive. I loved watching the Chinese acrobatics show on the TV in the back too!

Amazing mapo tofu and noodles - simple but yet so delicious. Very well-seasoned with just the right level of spiciness and kick to it. favorite takeout place in Medford for sure.
Small Sichuan place. The dish I had (wontons with chili oil) was very good. Judging from smells and gusto of other patrons, I would guess there are many delicious dishes. Bustling place on a Friday but waitstaff were fast and efficient.Vegetarian options: Some veggie dishes

My sister got an allergy to the sweet sesame dumpling. She had to go in an ambulance and they didn’t even pick up the phone so I can ask them what was in the dumpling. Horrible place the customer service is non existent and I am only writing this review because everyone should steer clear of this place especially if your loved one has an allergy.

I’ve been enjoying Chilli Garden for 20 years! Only order from the Sichuan menu. Love the huge mountain of watercress with garlic. There are some great special dishes with fish. I have had some of the Chinese American dishes and do not like them, and happy to stick with all the tasty specialties. Easy to park if you are driving. Friendly staff, no frills, always a great meal.
Heard great reviews about this place I odered a few dishes. First off got the dan dan noodles the ground pork that was on top of the noodles was very dry& lacked flavor seemed like it was cooked ahead and left in the pan, then was just added to the noodles. The sauce that came with it was so so. Also order the pork and napa cabbage. Was loaded with chili oil which made the dish very hot drained of about 1/4 cup of oil. Hardly any napa cabbage and the cabbage that was in the dish was tiny chopped up pieces. The flavor of the dish was pretty good, but only after draining all that oil off. I also ordered the country fried rice when ever I see fried rice with Chinese sausage I always order it. This was one of the worst fried rice I have ever had. First you do get a lot of rice, but you could tell the rice was just thrown in the wok it was clumpy had hardly any veggies in it, but the worst part of the dish was the Chinese sausage. You know when you get a piece of sausage and it has that slightly sweetness to it and nice red color,well this sausage was dry brown and had NO flavor what so ever. Looked like it had been cooked the day before and left on the stove overnight. If fact it seemed as if all the dishes were made with no care. And old ingredients. Service was pleasant. Don't know if the food was this bad because it was takeout, but I will try again. I always am willing to give a restaurant a second chance.
