“It's an old-school pizza place. The pizza was very good, the onion rings and fries were better than you get at most places.
The pizza sauce leaned more to the sweet side than I usually go for, but that's a personal choice. The ingredients were all quality, the crew takes pride in their work and it shows. I will definitely be back.“

“First time checking out the Billerica location, we go to the Tewksbury location all the time. This location is located inside of an old
Colonial style building. The bar side looked great but we sat in the dining room. The menu is the same and the quality of food is great. The craft beer selection was decent with a few local breweries represented, including Spy Glass Stateline IPA. Which was tasty. I got the Western Burger which did not disappoint either. Fries are always great, nice and crispy!

Kid-friendliness: The kids menu is great! It’s the main reason we go so often. They make a great grilled cheese with fries for a reasonable price.“

I had seen bacon-wrapped scallops on the appetizer menu and knew I was getting that! Main courses were also fantastic, and Patrick conversed with us about the paranormal events experienced there, since we are ghost hunting fans. AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! Can't wait to go again.“

“I stopped by for lunch today at this brand new restaurant in Lowell. I was looking through the menu and I had to try their pupusas. Let me just say they were AMAZING!!! They have beans and cheese, cheese and loroco (vegetable), and I got chicharron and cheese. They are served with rice, beans, salad, salsa, and cortido (cabbage).“

We had a tiny issue with one meal which was immediately acknowledged and fixed tenfold. Two members of the team checked on us several times after to make sure we were doing okay and then sent us home with an extra meal for later on the house. “What used to be a run-of-the-mill pizza hut, is now a great family-owned spot with hand-tossed, Italian style pizza, FRESH seafood, and plenty of offerings for hot and cold subs, salads, and sides. In addition to the great menu, there is a full bar offering some good beer options, as well as cocktails. Royal has become one of our go-to places when we want good food and drink!

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options include veggie pizzas (build to suit!), salads, and many of the sides/appetizers are vegetarian (fries, onion rings, cheesey garlic bread, cheddar broccoli bites, fried mushrooms).

Dietary restrictions: Royal offers options for gluten-free pizza, vegetarian options, and "diet pizza" which is served on syrian bread.

Parking: Plenty of free off-street parking

Kid-friendliness: Royal has a great kids menu, including options like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza and burgers (chocolate milk and assorted juices are available as well). It's not a loud rowdy place, and we've seen families dine-in plenty of times.“
