“I had been following this restaurant for a long time since I came to Boston area, so I was so excited to be there. As “Uncle Roger” says, “not bad, not bad!”
Creamy Tum Yum Noodle Soup: The Tum Yum soup broth was exactly authentic. It provided a strong taste of both tangy and spicy, exciting my taste buds and increasing my appetite. As for the ingredients, shrimps were fresh and bouncy, char-siu slices were crunchy but not greasy, while the lime added extra zing to the soup.
But to be frank, unfortunately I could still taste the gamey smell from the refrigerated pork, even though it had been that heavily seasoned.“

“I think the recent negative review must've been a bot / AI (maybe some jealously going on there). Either way- Darling is an incredible bar with great product and friendly service. I would not be surprised to see them win some major awards next year. As a new establishment, Darling is absolutely crushing it and I am so happy to welcome them in Central Square. Cocktails are refined, balanced and interesting. Clarification techniques assure everything is smooth and refreshing. The enoki bao are things of dreams. Coursing allows for fun conversation between dishes with a date or friend.. Darling team thank you for everything you do! You are a wonderful presence and important place in the Boston cocktail scene :)“

“My family had a wonderful dinner at Mae’s last night. The service was efficient, attentive without being obtrusive and warm. The food was excellent, flavorful, balanced, light. We had number of dishes…pork gyoza (we went back for 2nds on this one), spring rolls, basil fried rice (nice spice level…maybe a little more oil than needed), ma po tofu, general Tso’s Thai chicken, and pad Thai (the star of the show). The mocktails were fresh and complex. Will be back. Oh we made a reservation. Highly recommend doing so.“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

“I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming. What really made our visit special was the excellent service from our waitress, Karen. She was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Karen’s positive attitude and professionalism made the experience even better. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place, especially because of the great service we received from her. 😊“

“As someone who has had the privilege of dining at some extraordinary Chinese and Japanese restaurants around the world, from Hong Kong to Tokyo to Manhattan, I can say without hesitation that this is the finest Chinese and Japanese food in all of Massachusetts. The ingredients are exceptional, the preparation is thoughtful, and the consistency is remarkable. Restaurants like this are rare.
We even brought our chef Tracy here one evening. She’s worked in several Michelin-starred kitchens and spent years cooking in private estates and luxury hotels. And she was completely blown away. She kept commenting on the quality of the fish and the balance of the dishes, which says a lot coming from someone who cooks professionally at that level.“

“We’ve been here multiple times, both for takeout and dine-in and the food is always outstanding and fresh. We’ve tried many different things on the menu, both sushi and Chinese food and everything is great. There is no reason to try any other restaurant- we’ve found our go-to place!!“

“I think people that are complaining here are overly privileged and don't appreciate the little things let me tell you why. I'm not saying there feelings don't matter but I am struggling in this state, and can't cook at the moment so to get some "nutrients I ordered a pizza from here that would have garlic, parsley etc and I instantly felt better! The pizzas were so good. As someone who lost a lot of family, I'm not going to bicker about pizza. I thought it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the medium size and it had lots of cheese. We will order from yall again thank you for your service!“

“We were in the area after a late flight and Dumpling Garden was one of the only restaurants that was open after 10pm. We had low expectations, but were pleasantly surprised to receive very tasty meals with generous portions! Honestly the best thing we ate on our trip and very grateful for their late hours. Thank you Dumpling Garden 🙏“

“I got take out at the Golden Ginger for the first time in years, the service was great and the food was all delicious and freshly made to order. I had stopped going there when I had started eating gluten free food, however, I just realized that they now have great gluten free options including my favorite, General Gau's chicken! Family members who don't eat gluten free loved the hot & sour soup, the spring rolls, the boneless honey ribs, and the beef and broccoli. I am definitely going to be going back to eat there as well as for take out. I highly recommend them!“

“My new go-to spot for late night Chinese food.
Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.
The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.
Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.“

“Basic take out restaurant. No tables. Just counter to order. Very clean room and TV. Staff nice and knowledgeable to explain dishes. A few parking spaces out front of store however, ample street parking. Good Individual entree portions enough for two people. Good portions for plates as well, could feed two or have multiple meals for one. Have eaten here several times. Give it a try. Good neighborhood restaurant. Ordering for New Year very organized and efficient. Pllan your order and can't go wrong. Latest meal simple and checked all the boxes. Moo goo gai pan, super fresh vegetables, good pieces of chicken and very tasty sauce. Vegetable Rice, they use darker soy sauce, a surprising change, not sticky, seperate grains and good amount of vegetables. Boneless ribs, properly cooked, soft texture not dry, good size pieces, and some crisp edges.“

“Charm Thai Bistro is a favorite for my entire family. Takeout is still nice and hot when we get it home and everything is packaged with care. I can't get enough of their Spicy Crab Rangoons and would eat them every day if I could. Everything tastes super fresh and spice levels are just right.
This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion.“
