“This restaurant was recommended to us. Hand rolled noodles isn’t something you can get in rural Maine. The noodles we delicious. The waitstaff was attentive. The restaurant was clean and lively. They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. Even the tea was good. Bathroom was clean. Food was fresh. And try the thousand layers honey cake. I think everyone will find something to like here. If I am ever in Providence, I will 💯 go again.“

“It’s a little spot serving up very big flavors. The beef rib and chili oil noodles were so delicious, and spicy served with chewy wide noodles. I got the lunch special for $20 and it starts at 11:30 to 2:30. All of this food for $20 and it was so good. I would definitely come back to try other things on the menu. For my cold side I got the wood ear mushrooms, and the chicken nuggets, which reminds me of chicken carriage, and it was so crispy so hot when it came out very delicious.“

“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!“

“Found this place on Google & Pinterest. So glad we gave it a try. The chicken corn soup was sweet and delicious, we had pork and cabbage dumplings, spring rolls, hot tea, fried rice and kimchi. It was all delicious. I don’t use chop sticks so they brought me a fork. Would highly recommend this place it was busy but we don’t have to wait long for a table and they had a steady line of to go orders going out as well.“

“I ordered takeout and got the salt and pepper wings, lobster rangoons and fire street noodles. The wings and rangoons were 10/10!! The noodles were good but the shrimp was pretty overcooked so would maybe try with a different meat next time.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“

“This was the only place we used to eat out when we were students ten years ago. I’m visiting Boston again after a decade and came back here today.
I was amazed to find it still tastes just as good. Thank you for staying the same. I’ll be back on the last day of my trip. All your food is excellent.“

“We have a new office in Boston. So periodically I drive down from our main office to the Boston location and every time I do, I have resolved to try a new restaurant. This was today’s choice and it was SPECTACULAR! My server was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was insanely good. I didn’t know how big my stir-fried rice cake bowl would be so I ordered the sweet and sour pork loin to go with it. But the rice cake bowl was huge and tasted incredible. Lots of heat, lots of fresh prepared veggies and meat. 10/10 would recommend that dish. The pork tenderloin I tried and 10/10 would recommend it as well. The location is a bit small and that is literally the only nit I can pick. If you’re in this area, get some take out or eat in , you won’t regret it!!“

“The Allston-Brighton food scene continues to grow and thrive. Just that one tiny strip has Habanero’s, Holdfast, Coreanos, and now Gigantic Wonton, plus many businesses and shops, and Brighton Music Hall. Total powerhouse. The folks who work at Gigantic Wonton are very friendly, and the food is wonderful. Great heat on the Sichuan, soup dumplings were great, and the fried dumplings were light and flavorful. Will definitely return.“

“I really like sukiyaki and mentaiko udon, and I always want to try them out, but the portions at their restaurant are too big. The service is also excellent and very attentive. I've seen someone drop their chopsticks, but before I could even react, the staff had already brought new chopsticks over.“

“This has to be one of my favorite Asian meals that I have had in quite some time. The food was so authentic and delicious. I had a delicious wonton soup and a combo meal with tasty boneless pork spare ribs and lovely shrimp fried rice. My son had seafood chow mein with crispy noodles. “Came here around dinner time, and the waiter gave us the option to sit wherever we choose! Very kind man, was speaking in Mandarin but I didn’t understand.. I got the lamb hand pulled noodles, and my friend got the wonton noodle soup.

Loved how tender the beef was, but thought the noodles were kind of stuck in chunks towards the bottom which made the experience not as great. I added some chili oil to enhance the flavor!

As for the wonton noodle soup, my friend enjoyed the wontons and thought the soup was a bit light/bland. She added some chili oil as well!“

“I crave this place often. It’s so nice being able to choose whatever veggies, sauces, and other toppings you want. They have tofu and edemame for protein. Just a good spot when you’re craving some noodles and want something with nutrients. Always yummy never had a bad noodle bowl! A go-to lunch or dinner take-out spot! They may not look fancy, but they’re seasoned perfectly & cooked to perfection. I went for the Ying Yang bowl — so many protein options & so insanely flavorful. “Super cool place! You fill a bowl with whatever soup ingredients you want and pay by weight. You then choose a broth and the meal is cooked for you. The sauce bar is customizable and free with a meal. My friend and I loved the selection of toppings and will definitely be back. There is usually a wait list in the evening and they don’t take reservations ahead of time, so go early and put your number/name in!“

“I have been a Freshman on the campus of Boston University for only a few weeks. I did not find myself homesick in the slightest and found myself rather content with the food at nearby dining halls. Eating here in this cozy space with such a friendly waitress is such a contrast to packed, noisy dining halls with somewhat, periodically nasty food staffs (at least towards the later hours of the day), and it cured my homesickness I didn't know I had. I highly recommend this restaurant to other undergraduate students like me in need of a nice meal in a comfy space.“

“Very busy during meal times especially on Friday night! I would personally avoid ordering more than three or four items for pick up when it's really busy as I have had items left out. I am sure they are more careful with online orders. The biang biang noodles are so yummy, but watch out if you have blood sugar control issues. Carb BOMB. The food seems to be all very oily also but that's the nature of some of their most delicious offerings like chili oil splashed noodles. My kids always ask for House of Noodles whenever they come to town. They were born and raised in Hong Kong so have had their fair share of good noodles and this ranks right up there and makes them miss Hong Kong just a little less.“

“Okay, our new favorite Sichuan restaurant! We’ve been a couple of times now, and the flavors are amazing. All of the dishes that we’ve tried have been great - both in taste and value. Mapo tofu, spicy fish fillet, clay pot eggplant and pork to name a few. Highly recommended!“

“Probably the best Chinese restaurant in quincy area if you want a proper meal with veggies, meat and carbs.
They have such a long menu, and everything looks so delicious.
We had the beef roll. The beef itself is served cool and the roll is crispy and hot, very tasty!
The Sichuan spicy fish is very tender and tasty. The spice level is just right for us.
Although I won’t say it’s all taiwanese dishes, I would love to try again next time.“

“The food here is very delicious! Service is great and they’re super busy, even on a Thursday afternoon.

The congee is so silky and smooth. It was delicious! The steam roll was fabulous that we ordered an extra one to go. Scallion pancake was nice and crispy. The barley lemongrass lemonade was interesting. I wasn’t expecting actual barley to be in there but it was. I only drank the liquid as I’m not a fan of mushy textures. Not sure what I was expecting but had I known it would be chunks of barley I probably would’ve opted for another beverage. The tongue bread is a shape of a tongue, hence the name. It was a dense bread with minimal flavor.

Casual ambiance with modern decor. Seating available for dining in and great food. I would definitely recommend this establishment and return when I’m in the area. Street parking only.“

“Absolutely delicious! We tried the Jjamppong, Jajangmyeon, Shrimp fried rice, and Tangsuyuk, and everything was excellent. The food was fresh, flavorful, and very well prepared.
As a Korean who grew up eating Korean-Chinese food, I was genuinely impressed. Definitely one of the better Korean-Chinese meals I’ve had in the U.S.
