Wonderfully attentive and considerate staff. Came here after a taekwondo tournament and they accommodated our large party very well. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the fish dishes)!
The Leek Pies are fabulous as is the Three Earthly Delights. I keep going back for these amazing comfort foods. The wait staff is wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful. I'm a designer and I love the lamps... they add just the right touch of warmth that brings the entire experience. together.
It’s soup season, and the shrimp and wintermelon soup was the standout entree tonight. Hats off to the chef: The broth was well seasoned and allowed the individual flavors to blend and shine on its own as well. And each shrimp meatball was tender and flavorful, 100% shrimp. The wintemelon was sliced thin and was perfectly cooked. Soft and tender yet still held its shape without disintegrating into mush. 212 Kitchen is a restaurant in Cambridge known for wonderfully attentive and considerate staff. The food is absolutely delicious, with fish dishes especially praised. The Leek Pies are fabulous, as is the Three Earthly Delights, and these amazing comfort foods keep people going back. The wait staff is wonderful and the restaurant is beautiful, with lamps that add just the right touch of warmth that brings the entire experience together.
The shrimp and wintermelon soup was a standout entree, with a well seasoned broth that allowed the individual flavors to blend and shine. Each shrimp meatball was tender and flavorful, 100% shrimp. The wintermelon was sliced thin and perfectly cooked, soft and tender yet still held its shape. The fried egg and leek pocket and fried buns had homemade wrappers and didn’t need any additional sauces. The meal was refreshing and satisfying, and diners left without feeling bloated or greasy: just full, warm, and happy.
The flavors are incredibly rich and deep and authentic, and the cucumber & tofu is perfectly spicy. The pork ribs & bean noodle soup's savory fattiness is the perfect match for the salad. The meals are fresh and premium, the service is always lovely, and the hospitality and joy fill the room. The food was probably the best Chinese food ever had, and everyone was very friendly. A must eat restaurant.
