Sumiao Hunan Kitchen Reviews
We definitely enjoyed our meal! Pan seared pork bao and mala duck for appetizers. General Tso’s chicken and Grandma’s pork noodles for entrees. Good stuff! Kyle the bartender was awesome. We ate at the bar,
It is really tasty
Everything we ordered is very good
This place is really yummy! Seems authentic and delicious Chinese food. I was a fan BEFORE the Michelin buzz. One thing that could be improved is service. I have been a couple of times and ordered pick up a couple of times and I wish it was more personal. They seem uninterested in your business. Great food though!

Sumiao Hunan Kitchen offers authentic Hunan cuisine, making it a good spot for a sit-down meal with friends or a date. The restaurant is known for its delicious food and attentive customer service, demonstrated by their flexibility with organizing special events. Dishes like the spicy calamari and shrimp fried rice with spicy beef are highly recommended, along with refreshing mocktails. While prices may be a bit high, the egg stir-fried noodles are worth trying. The restaurant manages to serve walk-in customers promptly despite being busy, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all. Some diners have expressed concerns about MSG in their dishes, but many still enjoy the variety of flavors and options available. The limited drink options, especially beers, are noted, but the food quality remains high with many vegan-friendly choices. Overall, Sumiao Hunan Kitchen is a dependable place for tasty Chinese cuisine in a lively setting.
