Very nice clean place. Service was amazing 👏
We recently visited on a weekday afternoon to celebrate our grandson’s graduation from Elementary School. There were numerous other families from his school and it was pretty busy. Paige our server greeted us with a smile and took our drink order right away. She took our orders and consistently checked on us during our stay. We live the Tavern became of all of its GF options. We need it for a family member who has Celiac disease and several others eat GF as a preference....read full review

Tavern in the Square is a go to place for good food and great service. The atmosphere is grand with a wide open space and windows all around. The food is pretty good for an upscale tavern. Dumplings and brussel sprouts are cooked perfectly, and the sweet potato burger is delicious. The gluten-free options are delicious and keep guests coming back, especially for those with Celiac disease. One guest was disappointed with a Caesar salad topped with sliced steak, which tasted like steak tips, and suggested the menu should differentiate. Another guest’s husband found the bolognese a bit too salty, and the manager, John, came over to thank them for letting the restaurant know. The wait staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Servers are welcoming, funny, and skilled. They are very accommodating with food allergies, checking and double checking everything. One server even gave a grandson a free dessert as a graduation gift. Drinks are quite good. Guests can always count on Tavern in the Square for a wonderful experience.
