“For years we lamented the loss of Blue Asia Cafe in the Allison area. Baby Cafe makes up for that with authentic creative delicious Cantonese food. Services was good on a Friday night, the the dinning space is nice (even the restrooms). Overall, highly recommended.“

“This place is way better than the quincy one. They are very knowledgeable of their products very friendly and very efficient with answering my questions. Donna was very cheerful and helped me order my food I would sefinitly go to this location over the quincy location and they have even more products. And they actually have the products on their menu. Multiple times I went to the quincy location and they didn't have the pork katsu bowl or sandwich on multiple occasions. The Allston one does. I would highly recommend this location.“

“This place was such an unexpected gem! We had originally planned to eat at another restaurant, but they didn't have any availability, so we decided to walk over to Phat Thaiger instead. It ended up being the best surprise of the night.

The atmosphere was a 10/10! The place is cute, cozy, and perfect for a fun night out. The menu had so many great food and drink options that it was hard to choose. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and by the end of the meal we were already talking about what we wanted to come back and try next. I think we ended up ordering something from almost every section of the menu!

I would highly recommend Phat Thaiger for a date night, a girls' night out, or really any occasion where you want great food, creative drinks, and a fun vibe. We'll definitely be back!“

“Went here for date night recently! We got the shrimp lettuce wraps (GF), the Wagyu Roll (contains gluten), Paradise Roll (GF), and the Singapore noodles (GF). Our server was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Separate gluten free menu, too! We sat at the sushi bar. Cocktails looked amazing, too!“

“My husband (who is vegan) and I were in the Boston/Cambridge area for work and selected Base Crave for our first meal out. We met two people from his job and noticed that the place was empty except for us and the staff. That worried me, but after eating, my only thought was “people need to eat here! They don’t know what they’re missing!” The 4 of us ordered vegetarian mo mo (omg - yum!), vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala (I didn’t try it but was told it was good), Tofu Mushroom stir-fry chilies mild which was okay, probably because we got it mild, Plantain curry (my hubby says fabulous!), plain naan (very good), and the Mushroom Stir-fry Noodles, mild. My husband and I agreed that the best things on the table were the Mo mo and the stir-fry noodles, both had fabulous flavor! We definitely recommend this place and would love to eat there again!“

“Came in on a weekday for lunch. Ordered Lunch Course ($27/person) with Set C meat and garlic spanish + fried dumplings and ice cream, together with 3 2--BBQ-items lunch combo ($14.95/each). There are parking garage nearby with plenty of space. The restaurant is big and have all the same chain quality of this restraint chains. The grill was not oiled and the first set of meats kept sticked to the metal grill, which is very unpleasant experience. However, one thing that is more disappointed is that they don't have green tea ice cream, one of the main reasons I ordered lunch course. This is not quite acceptable for a Japanese restaurant. They can only offered vanilla ice cream; however, the top was freezer burned. That put a bitter end to this visit, unfortunately.“

Their halal tacos are absolutely delicious, especially with the homemade sauces and fresh toppings. The meat is tender, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly every time. “It’s the only cute sit-down spot in China town. Tons of Good seats. The milk tea isn’t sweetened but in a good way.
They have WiFi and places to charge your phone or laptop. Four employees working at 3:30 on the weekend. People were in and out really fast.“

They customized a dish for my daughter (no spice) and her dish was just as flavorful considering they omitted items. We tried an assortment of appetizers and main entrees and my only recommendations would be to get a side of rice for a $1 so you can soak up all the delicious sauce and flavors. This chain Is run by very creative dedicated expeditious and smart people. Don't know if Angel is still the GM but he is great, popular among staff and always conscientious toward all and it shows in his people and their enthusiasm.Ali executive chef and co-founder is probably the most patient, thorough and engaged restaurateur I have ever met. I drove for Boston Laundry picking up and delivering linens for Bon Me for over 15 years. I overheard her training people many, many times. Her delivery never changed or wavered during that entire time. Methodical engaged and gentle. Don't know how she does it. (I lose my mind if I have to repeat something to myself once).

Always striving for authenticity. Phenomenal. True dedication. And it pretty much runs through the entire organization.

“Flavor Boom is one of my go-to places for a quick, inexpensive, and tasty meal. The bowls are always warm, full to the brim, and packed with flavor. I love their chicken adobo, tangy tamarind chicken, and beef stew. There’s almost always space to eat inside as well, if you want to eat it right away. Highly recommend!“
