If you are looking for authentic, comforting Hong Kong-style cafe food in the Boston area, Baby Cafe Express on Brighton Ave in Allston is an absolute must-visit! We tried a wide spread of their menu highlights, and nothing disappointed. The Hainan Chicken is remarkably tender and pairs wonderfully with their flavorful rice and ginger scallion sauce, while the Hand Shredded Chicken is equally delicious. The food was pretty good. The service was great.
I'm quite saddened that Baby Cafe went from two highly successful brick and mortar restaurants, has now succumbed to a mere after-thought tucked in the back corner at Novo Marketplace, at higher prices and abysmal quality food. What the heck happened??
