“A+ 5 stars, will absolutely be back for more.Visited Bow Market and was immediately drawn in by the smell. I had a Crispy Beef Barría Taco with consomé and the green salsa. The taco was super crispy and filled with cheese and barría. The consomé was great and they gave plenty to go with the taco. The green salsa was delicious! It was immediately spicy and then cooled to a great flavor. It wasn't spicy for the sake of spicy. Excellent choice and will definitely be back for more. 100% my go to place for barría, or if I'm craving something savory and spicy.“
“Small quant location right in the heart of assembly Row. The regular size is large enough to leave you satisfied but the mega will leave you belly-burst but in a good way. Fresh ingredients, savory broth, solid portions. This is the consistent reman place that meets expectations every single time.“
“Absolutely loved it! We had the karami and enmi ramen, and shared the gyoza. We finished every last drop of the ramen and wanted to bathe in the sauce on the gyoza OMG. It was thriving and happening on a Wednesday night, and the waitstaff were lovely and attentive. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!“
“I ordered the classic Isshindo ramen. The flavor of the broth was great and the chashu was very flavorful. There wasn’t too much fat on the meat which made it even better. The staff were nice and the food came out quick. The seating was a little cramped but overall a great place for ramen.“
“"This is not a ramen shop, it is a dream shop." Despite only one menu item - pork ramen (as of 3/24/24, modifications may be accomodated) - I was pleasantly surprised by how good the ramen was. The ramen is has thick chewy noodles with big pieces of pork. The broth is fatty with a few globs of flat floating. Per request, it can be topped with a healthy serving of garlic. The ramen was a tad bit salty, but I managed to finish the broth. The only downside is that it is relatively more expensive than other restaurants ($17 for two pieces of pork, $20 for 5 pieces). The portions are large enough to satisfy your hunger, I promise! At one point, the chef paused plating the food to share his background and inspiration for starting the "Dream shop". I will keep that information confidential for those who wish to visit and hear it from him directly. It inspired me to take the next step in my own life. Enjoy!Things to know:1) Expect to wait in line outside the shop for approx 10-15 mins at best. Seating was accommodated in intervals of 3-5 people when I went. This is indicative of how good the food is, but be prepared during the winter months;2) There is only one menu item (as of my visit on 3/24/24), pork ramen, where you can choose from 2 pieces or 5 pieces of pork (choose the latter) - this takes away from the headache of choosing from a list of items;3) Expect seating to feel a little more intimate - the seats are in rows of 3, with approx 6 chairs per row, facing the chef;4) Expect to be asked if you would like to share a "dream" - this can be something that you wish to accomplish or do within your lifetime, or the year. After your meal, the restaurant will have a moment of silence for you to share your dream with everyone.5) Utensils are self-service - be sure to grab yourself a cup of water, chop sticks, napkins, or whatever you need in the back of the shop after you have placed your order and are seated.“
“Quaint ramen spot located inside Boston’s Chinatown. I would not consider myself a ramen connoisseur, however I felt like this place really delivered! My both was cream and full of depth and flavor. Great spot to try in Boston if you like ramen!“
“Exceptional meal...so focused on the food and conversation I forgot to take any pictures. Would definitely recommend. All the sushi/sashimi we had was fresh and very nicely done. We did the gyoza which were nice...but the Chiharu pancakes were amazing..would go back just for those.“
“The truffle Mac and cheese and No 9 Truffle salt ramen were delicious! I ordered these online to be delivered to my hotel room and it came right to my door and in sustainable mostly paper packaging (no styrofoam!). Would eat here again!Vegetarian options: All veganDietary restrictions: Vegan“
“Went for my first time the other night. My friend and I Had the spiked mango lassi with boba, hibiscus House soda, red oil dumplings, pork belly buns, and not pictured were two bowls of pho. Overall loved the experience. Server was new but did a great job. Service was quick and timely. They kept our water cups topped off the whole time which was appreciated. I want to try the ramen next so I'll add the fifth star when I come back again!“
“I ordered the veggie steamed bun and vegetarian ramen, and both were delicious. It was refreshing to find a vegetarian ramen soup with a flavorful base other than miso. The steamed bun was particularly tasty. As a solo diner, I felt comfortable dining alone. The restaurant had a quaint atmosphere, and street parking was available.“
“5☆: It's sometimes difficult to find flavorful vegan food, but this place does a fabulous job. It's a great stop for lunch or any other meal of the day! You can certainly bring a meat eater here and they won't have much to complain about.Came here for lunch and got the kale salad, Malaysian curry noodles, and mala cold noodles. Everything was fresh, packed with flavor, and very nutritious! The mala noodles are mild, so I will have to ask for authentic spicy next time :) I also had the thai green tea, which was delicious. The service was fantastic as well. The proprietor came and checked on us while ordering and was able to answer questions about nut allergies. They also paid attention to special requests while ordering, I asked for my tea to be lightly sweet, and it came out perfect.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan!Dietary restrictions: All allergies are noted, and the staff is knowledgable about what is in each dish, and what is removable.“
“Ramen is absolutely AMAZING!! Very flavor full and filling with lots of options. The place was much smaller than expected and because of the popularity there is usually a line around lunch and dinner time. So it does get pretty crowded but I think it is worth it for the amazing food.Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled the vegetarian dishes. I am not vegetation myself But it seemed they had some good options!“
“I recently visited Ganko Ittetsu for the first time in many years and they are still as delicious as I remembered. The star of the show for me was the chicken karaage/ fried chicken. It came piping hot, was not dry at all and had great flavor. The pork gyozas were juicy and tasty. The ramen was one of my favorites I had in a while and I tend to try a new ramen spot at least once a week. It is as busy as I remembered it being a few years ago, however, the wait was not too bad. They offer you their menu to look over and you are able to order, so that by the time you are seated, your food is served to you. This is a great spot for yummy ramen and appetizers!“
“This is my go to coffee/tea shop. The atmosphere is always comfortable, welcoming and chill. I love getting the brewed tea lattes, I recommend trying the Paris blend! The staff is extremely nice and super helpful. You can also order food, I really liked the 3 cheese gyudon, 10/10 will be getting it all the time. They have great portions for both drinks and food. The price is appropriate with the quality and portions.“
“Such a good quaint gem. The broth was perfect - it was so good that we came back for other dishes. The Cha Sui Don was the best I’ve had in a long time! Service was with a smile and efficiency. How good was the food? It was the so good you ate too fast and but your inner cheek type! Shall be back.“
“Tip: Usually good amount of street parking a nice ice cream place nearby for dessert. This place is definitely a must try if you like pho. I usually go to “pho viet” but honestly this place might be just as good or even better. Unfortunately I cannot say the ramen was as great as it was okay. But I would definitely come back to try another pho or even the Thai noodle soups. Price-flavored value is p good.“
“Little Big Diner serves up a symphony of flavors in their spicy tan tan ramen. By swapping chili ground pork for the decadent chashu pork, akin to pork belly, they’ve elevated the dish to a celestial level. The cloudy, flavorful broth dances on your taste buds, while the melt-in-your-mouth pork and perfectly balanced noodles complete the gastronomic masterpiece. For a taste of the best ramen Boston has to offer, Little Big Diner is a must-visit culinary oasis.“
“We all thoroughly enjoyed our Hot Pot Buffet. Great value for high quality ingredients that were very fresh. We tried several choices not typically found at other restaurants. Our fantastic wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. We recommend Fairy Cafe and will definitely be back.“
“Loved every part of my dining experience. Atmosphere was casual with a cool vibe, staff was very friendly and attentive and helpful in explaining the dishes…. Mamta and Alisha were so friendly and professional…. Food was absolutely delicious!!! This was my first time tasting Napoli culture food and thoroughly enjoyed it! Highly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be back again! Very Satisfied Customer, James Kivlin“
“Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“
“We went to Coco Ramen and they graciously moved us to the neighboring space for a sit down spot since they were full. The service was very fast. We asked what the difference was between the broths and the waitress kindly answered. The spicy ramen bowls were very hearty and tasty and the fried oysters were all right. I would have liked maybe a little more toppings, but overall great food and experience!“
“Stopped here for an early dinner while picking my brother up from Boston(4/9). This is the type of place I tend to enjoy. Casual spot, quick service and affordable food. Mostly students when we went.I had the chicken donburi while my brother had the poke and sushi. The chicken donburi was crispy and delicious. Lightly fried and not too greasy. Teriyaki sauce was sweet and not too overpowering. My brother enjoyed his poke and sushi as well but said the poke was just alright for the price. Nothing special. If you’re looking for a quick bite that won’t break the bank, this is a good spot. Will have to try the sushi burrito if I ever come back here.“
“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“
“The food was excellent. The ramen tastes really well in comparison with other ramen places. It's a great place to go with kids as they have a kids menu, and kids utensils and they even give a cup for the kids, so thumps up. A thing to consider is that the menu focuses entirely on ramen there aren't any other options besides a few appetizers to select from and the vegetarian options are also very limited.“
“My second visit to Mecha Noodle Bar was as enjoyable as the first. Initially, I dined at their Seaport location, which was fantastic. This time, I went with friends to the Brookline branch. It's a tad smaller than the Seaport spot but still spacious enough for groups. We only had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes, which was reasonable. Plus, there's a fantastic bookstore nearby where you can pass the time while waiting! We all opted for ramen, and it didn't disappoint in terms of portion size and satisfaction. I went for the spicy miso ramen, which was bursting with flavor. I always add tamago which is aways a great choice; it complemented the dish perfectly. I highly recommend adding an egg to your noodles! For appetizers, we indulged in dumplings, pork baos, and edamame, and they were all incredibly delicious. The pork belly baos, in particular, stood out; the pork belly was incredibly tender. Overall, Mecha Noodle Bar is an excellent choice for a romantic date or a casual meal with friends.“
“Absolutely amazing, we went for lunch and we're promptly seated, served, and taken care of. We got the katsu ramen and the teriyaki ramen and both were delicious broth, incredibly flavorful meat, and nice thick noodles. One hundred percent “
“Authentic Asian/Thai cuisine. As usual, for many dishes you can choose whether you want meat, shrimp, tofu or just vegetables. Our food was very, very good. The service was friendly. Since we were the only guests, our food came super quicklyVegetarian options: For many dishes you can order tofu or just vegetables instead of meat“

“Decent ramen experience with good appetizers.Recently stopped by for a quick ramen meal. This new Allston location seemed like a less frequented outpost compared to their other locations, so the store was almost empty during my visit. For the appetizers, I got the Takoyaki Volcano and the Chicken karaage. The takoyaki dish bursted with flavors – the spicy mayo and scallions provided a tangy kick, while the fried toppings added a pleasing crunch. On the other hand, karaage was slightly underwhelming. While maintaining a juicy interior, it felt short with its batter not achieving a good level of crispiness. The Shio Ramen, a staple in any ramen joint, was also somewhat lackluster. The toppings were satisfactory, but the broth lacked the depth and richness that I was hoping for. While Hokkaido Santouka’s ramen might not top my list, their appetizers, particularly the Takoyaki Volcano, make it a spot worth visiting.“
“Had an awesome time at Soup Shack in Porter Square! Kevin, our server, was super cool and made us feel right at home. Everyone there was just so friendly, making the whole vibe really laid-back and welcoming. Now, let’s talk about the ramen – it was killer! The broth was on point, and they even had homemade kimchi that added just the right kick. But the real game changer? The marinated egg. They actually take the time to marinate it, and you can totally taste the difference. It’s those little touches that make me love this place. If you’re around Porter Square and craving some legit ramen, hit up Soup Shack. Great food, cool people, and an all-around chill spot.“
“This restaurant is one of my favorites in this area! The atmosphere was like a casual restaurant in East Asian countries. I was relaxed to stay in the restaurant. Mostly, the food was so delicious. We ordered spicy sesame ramen and a sushi followed with the name of the restaurant, and this ramen was wonderful so that I ate this in a few minutes!“
“Came here for a late night meal. Staff was friendly and helpful. We grabbed a few items. The Tokyo style ramen, dope yolk , & crispy heirloom potato. All was pretty good. The ramen was hearty and the pork belly was crispy. Dope yolk was a different.all the texture just went together. All they have a decent food. I would be back“
“The most amazing ramen I have ever had! I loved it so much the broth was so rich bold and delicious. I went with family and we all loved our food. My mom lit up the moment she ate it. We had an amazing time. The waiters were very attentive and funny too. Had a delightful time.“
“The food was the best East Asian food I’ve had in Boston!! The wontons, dumplings, popcorn shrimp and ribs were incredible!! Will definitely be coming back.Travis attended us and was the best service that I’ve had in a long time! 12/10!“
“The sushi here has always been amazing. The portion sizes are large and the sushi is delicious. Everything is very fresh and tastes delicious. Their prices are reasonable compared to other sushi restaurants. Food was prepared very quick. The staff are friendly and helpful.“
“More a 3.5 star though I'm not too much into ramen. This was the first time I ate there and likely will come back to try something else. I went for the miso ramen to be on the safe side. The broth was very rich but also had a lot of sodium. The service was fast though it didn't necessarily help the food: The soup is effectively assembled where the items such as the egg, meat and other toppings come from the fridge. The first experience is that you have a hot broth but the first experience you have is to bite into something cold. Nothing wrong with that but it just threw me a little bit off. Next time, I cool down the broth by heating the cold ingredients. They have a drink menu as well as serve rice bowls if ramen is not your thing.“
“Got a takeout order and was really impressed! The mojo ramen broth was extremely flavorful and the chashu pork was tender and delicious. The noodles were also quite good even though I got a delivery and so they couldn't serve the noodles in the broth, I had to add it myself after reheating it. Worth the price and I'd recommend it to anyone nearby, even to be delivered!“
“This ramen house is just across the commons park. We came in the middle of afternoon where there is no customer but us. Their menu is online and you can order and also pay online. It’s easy and quick. The service is quick and good taste good. If you are looking for a good noodle soup you can try this place. I love my tonkatsu ramen. You can make it spicy or just ordinary.“
“Sakura Sunakku in Chinatown Boston made a delicious crepe. I love the fruit crepe with pocky!! The crepe was freshly made with strawberries, bananas, blueberries, chocolate pocky, and bit more. I just love every bite. It's sweet treat!Kid-friendliness: Dessert is really kid friendly here especially ice cream and crepes.“
“It’s been 10 years since graduation and I have not had Sapporo style ramen since then as it’s harder to find in NYC and Toronto. I finally went to Sapporo and it tastes exactly like what I remembered from this place 10 years ago. Good to see it’s still open and store layout looks the same. My fav ramen and this place is legit!“
“We stopped here back in October after an exciting adventure on the Freedom Trail. I forgot to leave a review back then but my friend and I were reminiscing about it just now so I thought I'd leave my thoughts. Delicious food, stellar service, beautiful atmosphere. 10/10“

“Authentic Jiro ramen, their signature bowl is indeed a monster. We really enjoyed our dinner but our main critique was that it was hard to get to the noodles in the Jiro because it was buried under all of the bean sprouts etc. The staff and service were on top of things and really took care of everyone on the grand opening. You can tell that their recipes were well thought out and come from Japan so I would recommend trying it but definitely come hungry as the bowls are hefty.“
“I ordered the Vivi's Signature Fruit Tea w aloe. So refreshing and so delicious. The place is very clean and spacious. You can order other things off the menu. I plan to order again the same thing. Service was via GrubHub online ordering. However, next time I will do a tip!“
“Food was so traditional and took me straight back to China. Get the rice noodles, and get the cucumber salad, you won’t regret it. Only complaint was the lamb in my noodles was over cooked in my opinion. But that’s a personal preference!“
“We went to AMC and decided to stop there because it was a nice looking spot on the outside, and we were craving for ramen, and what a great choice it was.We started with the takoyaki which was amazing, and you could feel it melt on the mouth, but keeping the taste. Then we went to the ramens, I had the signature one (forgot the name) and my wife had the curry one, both were delicious. Plenty of meat and noodles for a standard size, and I saw some people ordering the "mega" which is a lot.The place is just a few seats and the bar, fast service and good prices. I'm definitely coming back a few more times.Fuyo!!Parking: There are plenty of parking on the building and on the main lot on the center of the mall, but it's difficult to find it right there on the internal streets“
“Hits the spot. If you are looking for chicken based ramen then Tsurumen is a place to be! Broth is light yet fyll of flavor with bouncy noodles.Very quick service type, and still someone comes to serve the ramen and clean the table. Be warned given its location it is difficult to find parking. I suggest taking an Uber.“
