Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. Waku Waku Ramen Chinatown is a great place to get ramen. The set up is small and quiet, with a welcoming and easy to absorb environment. The food is delicious, with a rich and creamy broth. The tonkotsu ramen is just right, and the spicy burnt miso ramen and spicy chasu bao buns are very delicious. The signature ramen and tokatsu were great, exactly what was needed to warm up on a cold day. The kim chi miso ramen was a bit too salty. Portions are generous, with all ramen around $15. One of the few restaurants that stay open late, it hit the spot on a cold and rainy night. Highly recommended.
