“Went to this restaurant after seeing it featured on Phantom Gourmet and my husband and myself left full of good food. The food was tasty and came to our table ready to eat and the service was great! They gave us everything we needed in a timely manner. The restaurant was on a smaller scale but we got a table pretty quickly without making a reservation. We even had the dessert of the strawberry shaved ice which had a bowl that was big enough to easily feed the two of us and it was very delicious!“

“We all thoroughly enjoyed our Hot Pot Buffet. Great value for high quality ingredients that were very fresh. We tried several choices not typically found at other restaurants. Our fantastic wait staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and highly efficient. We recommend Fairy Cafe and will definitely be back.“

“Excellent food and a very enjoyable meal at Kung Fu Kitchen! We tried several dishes and were very happy with everything we ordered.

The wonton soup was especially good. The wontons were large, with visible shrimp in each one, and the soup was loaded with fresh vegetables. Very satisfying and flavorful.

The chive pancake was another highlight—filled with chives, egg, glass noodles, and dried shrimp. It tasted authentic and was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the steamed and pan-fried dumplings.

The restaurant is clean, bright, and modern. Service wasn’t the greatest, but for this type of casual, fast-paced restaurant, it was totally acceptable.

Overall, the quality and authenticity of the food really impressed me. Definitely a 5/5, and I would happily come back!“

“We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and I’m so glad we finally did. This is authentic ramen with delicious broth that will fix all of your problems. If you’re feeling under the weather this ramen will get you right. The sake flight paired with an Orion beer was all I needed to end my day.
10/10 no notes. Will be coming back everytime I’m hungover and when it starts to get cold, every week. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.“

“Lots of appetizer and ramen choices. Popcorn chicken was all tender and juicy. But the yakitori skewers, especially the pork belly, and the chashu in the ramen were a bit dry. Ramen was okay but a bit heavy on the seasoning and not creamy enough. Still a good meal overall. We finished everything.“

“I honestly come here just for the bun bo hue and it's so yummy!! It may not contain the traditional ingredients, but the broth is amazing.

Service is great and the staff are kind. It's a small restaurant and I'm always surprised by their huge menu.“

“Sushi Today, is by far my favorite place to order form during quarantine. I ordered from them before quarantine whenever I would babysit for my neighbors. Even though a lot of places are busy and haven't gotten my orders wrong, sushi today has not disappointed me yet. Sushi Today is the only place I will ever order sushi from. They make eel avocado rolls, which are surprisingly rare and hard to find when looking for take-out. Overall the accuracy, taste, and packaging of my orders from Sushi Today have been awesome.“

“This has to be my top 2 ramen shops! The broth was so rich yet not too salty, perfect balance. The ramen noodles are perfectly chewy.

I also loved their appetizers! Best of all, they have an app so I can rack up points for perks! Students can even get up to 20% off!

As a San Diegan I have tried everywhere in boston and enjoyed great Salvadoran, Honduran, and Puerto Rican food but have not found great Baja Mexican or even good Mexican in general that remind me of home. This is the spot. This brought tears to my eyes on homesick day. I just need them to sell carne asada in their catering section or by the pound and I’d purchase weekly. “Mi Soul is a great miso soup ramen, the pork is esp tender and generous.Ten Yum was solid, very simple(just noodle and shrimp) and was mild/medium spicy.Poke was good, fish was very clean tasting, and a good amount of rice. I only wish they had spicy mayo as an option, more Seaweed or furikake for crispyness, and a little more cabbage to go with the large amount of rice. Great to have the option given the other poke spots are about a mile away.“

“One of those places you never notice even after passing it a dozen times. Casual noodle spot aimed at the students nearby, but I'd never heard a word about it from friends or colleagues. The dining room was fairly big, yet completely empty when we came in for a quick takeout on a Saturday evening.

The menu was split mostly between noodles and casual Chinese. Not much of it looked convincing, so we skipped the popular stuff and just ordered what we were in the mood for. Most of it was ok at best, but the scallion oil noodles with crispy pork strips were pretty good. The noodles were soaked in a good amount of scallion oil, and the pork strips added a nice textural contrast.

Probably a place I'd have frequented as a student in the neighborhood, but with better casual Chinese and noodle spots in Downtown Boston and Chinatown, I doubt I'll be back.“
