“We had an incredible experience at Grill 23 & Bar — easily the best steakhouse we’ve been to in Boston. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was phenomenal. We ordered both the filet mignon and the ribeye, and each steak was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly outstanding. The sides were just as memorable — the macaroni and cheese was rich and comforting, the Brussels sprouts were perfectly prepared, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and delicious. Adding the Béarnaise sauce on the side was absolutely worth it and paired beautifully with the steaks. Dessert was the perfect ending: warm chocolate chip cookies served with vanilla ice cream — simple, classic, and done flawlessly. A huge highlight of the evening was our waiter, Bernardo. We will absolutely be requesting him on future visits. He offered thoughtful suggestions, anticipated our needs effortlessly, and somehow managed to be there exactly when we needed him — and never when we didn’t, if that makes sense. Just genuinely attentive, professional, and welcoming service that elevated the entire experience. An unforgettable dinner all around. We can’t wait to come back.“

“We recently had a company outing at Eddie V’s, and the food was excellent, the service was great, and everyone had a fantastic time.

But can we talk about the lighting?

Whoever did the electrical work in this place absolutely understood the assignment. The mood lighting is so good I spent part of dinner admiring the fixtures instead of my steak, which is saying something.

Warm, dramatic, flattering—apparently Eddie V’s has figured out that good lighting is cheaper than Botox.

Five stars for the restaurant and the excellent steak.

“Can’t say enough good things about our experience at Capri! We came in to celebrate our friend finishing her cancer treatments, and they made an already incredibly special night even more unforgettable.

The restaurant was busy, but we never felt rushed for even a second. Everyone was so warm and genuinely engaged with our table, and they even surprised us with champagne to celebrate our friend, which meant so much to all of us.

“We were celebrating our 16th anniversary and my retirement, and wanted to do it up right! We picked the right place for it. Coming in from Cape Cod, for a concert at Fenway we had reservations for Abe and Louie’s, but there were 2 at the bar so they let us sit there instead of our table. Our bartenders were great. To our surprise, Bree almost immediately said “Happy Anniversary!” And our drink order was taken. Michelle made a spicy margarita with a nice kick and a heavy glass, and a soda. Then we ordered shrimp cocktail which were brought out in mere moments. The shrimp were huge and cold and crunchy- perfect! We took our time and were not rushed to order our meal, but once we did, with Kendal, she asked all the right questions, offered to split our salad in the kitchen, and made some great recommendations. I wanted my Filet with their wedge salad as my entree and was told no problem. Our meal, my huge filet and my man’s ribeye were both cooked as requested and his suggested garlic whipped potatoes were creamy and yummy! The food was all out of this world, but what made the dining a true experience was the tango these three women danced around each other, each knowing what the other was doing and exactly what their patrons wanted. You can get a great filet many places but I pay for the service and we both felt like we were treated like royalty. Thank you Bree, Kendal and Michelle for making our anniversary and my retirement a true celebration!!“

“Stopped by Davios on my way out of logan. Food was pretty good. Had the burger which was very filling if you're hungry. The bartender Diego was awesome! Friendly knowledgeable and hilarious. I'll be stopping in again and again just for the great service!“

“One of my favorite steakhouses, for special occasions especially! I've had the tomahawk for 2 before and it was delicious! Definitely a splurge but the table side carving is a great touch. My most recent visit me and my boyfriend both got the bone-in ribeye and it was phenomenal, cooked to perfection!!! Our waiter, Sean, was also excellent! Attentive without being overwhelming and when he heard I was going to order the roasted bone marrow add-on, he made the wonderful suggestion of getting the appetizer portion of 2 boats so we both could enjoy. It also came with bread (different from the delicious salted one in the beginning), sauce, and a roasted head of garlic for $26 vs $15 for just the add-on, great deal! The manager on duty, Carolyn, stopped by the table as well and was so personable and pleasant to speak with. She wished me a happy birthday and wrote a lovely follow up email. The drinks were delicious and well balanced, spicy marg and an old fashioned. Overall, a lovely experience and will definitely be back again.“

“Last night was my second time at Post 1917 in Lexington. Outstanding meal top to bottom. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the mushroom and sweet corn sides were amazing and the tater tots (I'd rename them mashed potater tots) are ridiculous. The service was fantastic and the reception my wife and I got from Lori was as warm and welcoming as the first time I was there with a different group. We have great steak house choices in Massachusetts and this one is among the top. Well done to everyone there.“

“What an absolutely phenomenal experience it was dining at the Zebra Room—from the moment we first entered, the entire experience felt special from the start.

Luis, our server, was exceptionally attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming throughout the entire meal. He made sure to learn our names and guided us through the menu and answered all questions we had very thoughtfully. His recommendations were excellent, his pacing was impeccable, and he struck the perfect balance between being present and allowing us to simply enjoy the experience.

The food and service were unparalleled. We had the bread service, caesar salad, oysters, the olive snow wagyu NY strip, wagyu filet, and the potato flattie. Every dish was beautifully executed, and both cuts of wagyu were absolutely outstanding. It was homemade and actually pretty good BUT in my 60 years of eating meatball subs, this is the first one that was just meatball and bread..(with a sprinkle of parm out of a Kraft container)..no sauce or cheese (although i can do without that) some sauce would have made it!“

“Kaitlyn was an amazing waitress! It was a busy early evening at the restaurant, but she was still incredibly attentive, friendly, and warm. We were in town to move my daughter into Boston University and stopped at LongHorn after a five-hour drive. Needless to say, we were starving!
The manager also checked on our table several times to make sure both the food and service were great, which we really appreciated. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent, and my family and I left very happy. We were definitely not disappointed and would gladly return!“

“We were interested in something lite to eat before the concert and sat at the bar. They have a fun bar menu with good choices. We had the surf and turf skewer ( filet mignon and lobster with a side of bernaise sauce), filet mignon sliders and the Shucked, Fried, Tossed and Stirred combo. That combo was great as was the martini that came with it. Nice to see a little imagination on the menu. Food was delicious. Loved the view of the harbor. My only request would be that the bartenders make a little more eye contact and acknowledge your waiting. I get it when they are busy but even after waiting until it settled down a bit, it was still hard to get their attention. This will be our go to before shows in the future.“
