“Food was really good here! They cooked the chicken very well. I've been here twice already and the staff have been friendly and patient. Never had to wait too long for the food to be served (usually 10 minutes with other customers present). Everything on the menu is halal. Parking is convenient with a garage next door that allows up to 3 hours of free parking. Will definitely be visiting again!“
“Wounder full food with great service. We had a little difficulty deciding what to order as their menu is only written on the wall. But it seems they updated the menu on their Facebook page. Their menu changes every day. At the door, it says only for members and guests, but it's open to public. Will definitely go back. Have good size portions, and we had left over food to take home too.“
“Everything was excellent from start to finish. The decor is cozy and welcoming as you would expect from a nice neighborhood bar. The service was excellent: friendly and knowledgeable. When i saw the menu, I at first thought, "Polish and Portuguese food? Really?" But it works. I had buffalo wings to start, Pierogi for my main, and doughnuts for dessert. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Top it all off with a thorough but not overwhelming list of cocktails, craft beers, and wine, and it made for a perfect dinner date.Highly recommended.“
“It was such a pleasure meeting Ana. She cooks everything fresh daily in the back of the shop. We got a lot of food for a very great price. Everything tasted delicious and reminded me of my grandmas cooking. The flan was the best we've ever had which says a lot considering we are used to flan( my fiance and her family is from cuba). It is not extensive and rotates daily. So you won't be able to browse it online before heading there expect if you are on their Facebook page (the chef posts daily pics of the menu there which, is an excellent idea).Now for the nitty-gritty: you can sample some top-notch, authentic Portuguese fare. From bacalhau and octopus dishes all the way to some of best steaks in area. Brazilian dishes are also featured.Cold beer (bottled only) and Portuguese wines are widely available.If you are a sports fan, specially those who love soccer (European - Portuguese in particular and Brazilian), this place, along with the food and cold beer could be your heaven.“
“The Amar has an exquisite high ceiling interior and besides the food and service, that is definitely what you are paying for. The service was great, friendly, and efficient. And the appetizers and desert were also really good. However, I was a little disappointed in the cod fish main course. It was quite hard and tasted more toward a grilled fish than cod. But nonetheless I had a good experience, especially with the hospitality I received right when I exited the 17th floor lifts.“
“Highly recommend the grilled octopus. Soft inside and great sear on the outside gives it a smoky flavor. Our waiter was awesome he was very nice and tentative. I had a girls night out with my girlfriend and we had an awesome quiet night to catch up. Highly recommend this place if you ever want a slow quiet night and don't want to cook but with great food.“

“I went for the raving reviews but I found this place perfectly adequate. The cream of wheat was indeed the star of the show. It came quickly and hot, but then it was about a 45-50 minute wait for our mains. We went on a Sunday morning so maybe this is as slammed as they get but I wouldn’t recommend if you are super hungry. It also took about 20 minutes to get a table, but you can put your name on a wait list and they have free coffee outside which is a nice touch. The mains were decent… far from the best breakfast I’ve ever had but it was fine enough. Also heads up if you’re visiting from out of town/out of country it’s cash or venmo only.“
