“I don't think that I've ever left a review at any restaurant I've ever been to but when I tell you as soon as I took a bite out of their food my face lit up. this was possibly the greatest steak sandwich I've ever had and the fries were perfect. there's really nothing else to say besides the fact that the staff was the best and kept checking if we needed anything, the food and drinks came out fast too. I would come here all the time if I didn't live so far away.“

“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“We rented out the hall upstairs for an event. Very spacious, has bathrooms and accessible kitchen and the bar area is huge. You can bring in your own food for your event. All beverages must be bought through them. Overall great experience would rent here again.“

“We never made it to the old location but we have been going for date nights now for about a year. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere is perfect! The music is always on pointe! And we have our favorite waiter, Phil, every time we go! He is as much the reason we go there as the restaurant itself! Great guy!“

“The food was fantastic. Specifically the surf and turf and the Mozambique sauce were excellent and the portions are very generous . The owner and her daughter were very friendly and the service was great. If you’re looking for good traditional portuguese food and a great family owned restaurant - I highly recommend this place. “Easter lunch with the family. Owner Paulo is great in service making sure all his clientele are happy. Food was so delicious. Had the baked stuffed lobster and the stuffing with that garlic butter season sauce I could eat that with just bread. Parents did buffet which was such a value. Definitely going to visit more often“
