“Such a delicious little restaurant! I’m vegan, dined at Foglia with my carnivorous husband and we both loved it. The food is fresh and delicious and has multiple layers of flavor. It was such a treat. After our meal, Chef Pete came out to talk with us about our meal. Will definitely return.”

“What a fabulous restaurant. The interior is breathtaking. The service impeccable and the food and cocktails are spectacular. I started with an elderberry spritz…one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The table shared small plates of lobster croquettes and duck drumettes. I will never share the duck again…absolutely delicious. I moved on to bouillabaisse with a side salad, also very tasty. I can’t rave enough about this restaurant. It was a magical evening. This is truly the gem of Bristol.”

“I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!”

“This place is an example of what works so well when a small business is in tune with it's customers.
I have never had a bad sandwich from Ricotti's. But this one time, due to a glitch in the online order system, they didn't get my sandwich correct. I'm sure it was great, but I couldn't eat it.
I reached out to them and they immediately apologized and made good on the mistake.
This service is why we should all support local, small businesses. They try harder and usually go above and beyond. Ricotti's does!”

From the husband and wife who do an amazing job, to the food, this place is a diamond in the rough. “We are so thrilled to have discovered the gem that is Le Central. We have lived in France for a total of 8 years between us and have often lamented that French restaurants in the US rely on reputation and overcharge for nothing special. Le Central's food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Clearly great care is taken in selecting ingredients, hiring staff and running a very interesting beverage program. Bravo, Le Central! We will be back, and hopefully the very capable Tori will be working to take care of us again.”

Set-up was easy, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. A special shout-out to Caroline, who was wonderful to work with and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend Portside Tavern for any private event. We’ll absolutely be back!”
