Good pub atmosphere. There is a nice mixture of food from wings to bangers and mash. It was a raw, chilly day and sitting by the fireplace was perfect. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. She kept good track of us, without hovering. Our party had bangers and mash, a bacon cheeseburger, beer batter shrimp, and a fish reuban. We all enjoyed. Definitely a return.
One nice fellow served me a drink at the bar, then the other guy rudely hurried me out as he decided to close up 20 minutes early. It pains me to leave this mediocre review, because I've been here many times and always enjoyed it before this. One other thing that bothers me is that they no longer serve cask ale, the main reason I would make the 30-minute trip to visit them.

My birthday is on St Patty's day and we traditionally all get other at Aidan's for a celebration. We did have a party of 20 so understandably a lot of food to prepare but some of us had finished our food before others hadn't even been served. Our waitress was wonderful but completed overwhelmed with serving too many tables to give the service expected when dining out. Unfortunately don't think we will return.
