“I had a birthday celebration at this restaurant. We sat near the cozy fireplace on a chilly night. The cheeseboard (varied cheeses, focaccia bread, honey, blackberries, nuts, jam, greens) and Pt. Judith calamari were beautifully presented. Excellent bottle of Pinot Grigio from Tuscany, Italy added to food, Staff was very accomodating. I enjoyed mussels, scallops, little necks over pasta in scampi sauce. Others had the salmon as well as the bolognese. It's a very roomy, quiet setting near the water. Staff came out to sing happy birthday with a luscious ice cream dessert with a candle on top. I was pleasantly surprised. We will return to this place for sure!“

“This is an excellent, fresh and pure product. I was making Clams and Angel hair ( not a linguini person) the clams were not salty or chewy- they were as if I harvested them myself. I will use this product from here on out. Clams, the liquor and water= thats all thats are in the container. No preservatives or phosphates.“

“We hosted our daughter’s first birthday at Portside Tavern, and it was truly the best experience from start to finish. The event space was spacious, clean, and perfect for a private celebration. Set-up was easy, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was excellent. A special shout-out to Caroline, who was wonderful to work with and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend Portside Tavern for any private event. We’ll absolutely be back!“

To the girl who insisted after my father asked if everything in our order was in the bag that it was, to your manager who was unhelpful and should be dealt with accordingly and whomever portioned out the meal should be reprimanded as well. Our oven is broken on Thanksgiving and your incompetence made it an even greater day. “We discovered this small family restaurant a couple of years ago and it has become one of our favorites! The sea scallops are the best we’ve had anywhere ( so sweet and cooked to perfection). We’ve tried many of the menu options and have never been disappointed.“

I got the baked stuffed shrimp, it came with only four med size shrimp, very little stuffing, a small sweet potato and undercooked green beans. I usually cannot finish my meal, and I left hungry. “My wife and I recently had an amazing dinner at Kingfish. The oysters and fluke & monkfish crudo were absolutely delicious. They were incredibly fresh and are definitely must haves. We tried a few cocktails and wine, all of which were unique and paired well with our food. We tried the lamb frites and pan con tomate with tuna carpaccio for our entrees, and they did not disappoint. Everything on the menu was well thought out and executed to perfection. The service and the atmosphere of the restaurant also could not be beat. This restaurant is a new favorite for us. We’ll definitely be stopping by the next time we’re visiting in the area.“

“I have been a customer for 5 years and live an hour away. I hold oyster parties for my oyster loving friends so I shuck all the oysters myself. I have shucked many different kinds of oysters but AMH are a dream to work with because they are consistent. Very few if any bad ones. I love the selection too. Ordering and pickup by car easy.“

“So I randomly found about this place and had to go as my nickname is Iggi. We live in CT so the drive about 90 minutes and it was worth it!! This place is actual perfection. The food is incredible, the vibe is awesome, the service is the best and I even love the hoodie I bought there. Must try’s are the Lobster Bomb, Loaded Mash Potato flatbread, beer flight and the chowder flight looked amazing, I’ll try that next time. Everyone was so cool, all the servers, even the manager. “My go-to order in most places would be a Reuben. The quality of the meat, bread and the balance with the sauerkraut, sauce & cheese say a lot about how the restaurant approaches their food. The 02878 is the best Reuben sandwich I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Now I will have to find another go-to for other restaurants because they will pale in comparison to Localz 02878.“

“I can only speak for the clam cakes which I found to be very good. They were a little small so they gave me extra. I have gone twice recently and both times they were out of stuffies. This is just after noon both times so you wouldn't expect that. The wait for the clam cakes was rather long too considering it takes five minutes to fry them. I will give them another try though.“

I attended Endicott College back in the day and remembered sitting on rocks in Rockport with bunch of friends, enjoying the fresh, local seafood. 🍤 I recently noticed this brand while shopping and although pricey, I decided to try it for lunch today. The boil bag was easy peasy, enough for two bowls and like I mentioned to poster below, I purchased some RANA lobster ravioli that were void of any indication of lobster, although it was listed as second ingredient on packaging. I combined the two. What a delight with great flavor, thick broth and satisfying product. It’s what I purchased when your New England establishment is a distance away. It’s next best thing! 😋🦞“

My husband had Jasmine tea & the serving display was just beautiful! I would highly recommend this restaurant. “We rented out the hall upstairs for an event. Very spacious, has bathrooms and accessible kitchen and the bar area is huge. You can bring in your own food for your event. All beverages must be bought through them. Overall great experience would rent here again.“

“My wife and I went for wedding anniversary, we made reservations. We had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. Our server Aldean, was excellent and prompt and very profession. To be honest, at first I was taken aback on how well he spoke, I suspect he is on the specturm. He is one of the impressive waiter my wife and I ever had. He was polite, cordial and even mixed some old english when speaking to us. We observed him with other guests and we can tell he enjoyed his job and did it well. Very impressed with his service. The food was excellent, we had mozzerra sticks for apps, and it was delicous, i had stuffed chicken and my wife had shrim scampi. All dishes were superb. Since it was our anniversary we got a complimentary dessert and we also had a cheesecake. Both were well made and delicous.
