“We were seated in the first part of the restaurant. My back was to the bar area, which I felt could maybe be built up as I had to listen to the liquor bottles clanging all night. Otherwise, we were happy with our visit. Our server (Brittany) was awesome. The ambience was quaint and reminded me of Stars Hallow on Gilmore Girls. Although it could possibly use a freshen up with a deep clean and maybe some re-arranging some things. The food was good, arancini just okay, lasagna and veal parm quite good. I was surprised the parmesan was not grated tableside, being an italian restaurant, but just a tiny detail! We will visit again to check them out and maybe sit on the other side which seemed more popular!“
“Prompt and responsive service on the early afternoon of a winter weekday. The food is well-described in the menu and was attractively presented and delicious. A bacon-wrapped filet mignon was cooked exactly as ordered and served over a tasty mixture of lightly sautéed spinach and roughly mashed potatoes. A braised (pulled) short rib grilled cheese sandwich accompanied by small green salad could not have been better. A great water view but a bit noisier indoors than people with less than acute hearing will find comfortable for conversation.“

“Great coffee shop we went for the lighting of the Riverside tree lighting. We have been going since it started. We weren't happy this year though they lit the tree without telling the people inside and we missed the lighting. We were getting coffee. The people around us all felt the same. Why couldn't they come in and tell us. Oh well that's what happens I guess.“

I loved the inside of the place it was very cozy and rustic, and I love the green room where you can go inside and sit there and have your beer. Loved that this outdoor space is child-friendly. They host events here on weekends so I can imagine, the space fills up quickly. I stopped by for breakfast on a weekday and there was a line to order food and drinks, but the service was effortless and quick. Food was tasty. The one thing I will point out is the smoothies are not made of fresh fruit/veggies, I was bummed by that. They use flavored concentrates. Parking in the front is limited, but there is a sign pointing to extra parking toward the back.“

“Went for the 1/2 lb lobster roll, so good. It's market price, last weekend it was $35. It comes with fries and slaw. This is a food truck set up except it's two trailers. Wait time wasn't too bad except the line is in the sun. There are picknick tables to sit at. You can watch the boats coming and going. You get a wood token for each 1/2 lb roll you buy. Save them , 6 gets you a free lobster roll.“

“The Narragansett Beer came into fruition by 6 German immigrants in the 1890s; they combined $100k worth of funds to construct a brick brewing building in Cranston, RI. The beer gained popularity shortly after and it was the number one selling beer in New England.The building in Providence is beautiful with a balcony area. On a warm autumn day, we sat outside and enjoyed some brews. A few of my favorites were:Del's Shandy: reminded me of RI summers. I love the lemon flavor, it's refreshing!Autocrat Coffee Milk Stout: rich flavor that is sweet with hints of chocolate and toffee.Gourd Reaper Pumpkin Ale: tasted like pumpkin and spices; comes with a cinnamon sugar rim glass. This is perfection and tasted like autumn.They have many events and the taproom is spacious. The bar was clean and the beer-tenders are super awesome and friendly. There were plenty of parking spots during the early afternoon. Can't wait to go back soon!“
