“I’d like to give a shout out to a local businesses where I had an absolutely delicious meal. I was looking for something new & different in the Cranston area close to Garden City that wasn’t the same old monotonous fare that I’m used to. I stopped in for lunch on Thursday as I had an appointment on Reservoir Ave & again for dinner on Sunday after I picked up a cake at Antonio's Bakery. I’d like to start out by saying, I’m half Italian on my Dad’s side (Neapolitan, from the Avelino region, & Sicilian, specifically from Messina) & a quarter Armenian on my Mom’s side (ancient Armenia which is modern day Turkey)…so therefore I’m extremely fussy about my Italian, Armenian, Mediterranean, & Middle Eastern cuisine; my Grandma (Neapolitan) & Grandma (Armenian) were outstanding chef’s in their respective kitchens, & I was outrageously spoiled as a child & very rarely ate out, I had the best of the best~those skills were certainly not passed down nor inherited by me-scrambled eggs in the microwave anyone. With that being said… The owner (who is from Syria, so you know you’re getting an authentic product) & his team provided great customer service, very attentive & patient, knowledgeable about the food they’re serving & able to explain the flavor profile of each item. The restaurant is pretty well taken care of & clean. They encouraged me to try the shawarma, I’m glad I listened, I wasn’t disappointed…now I’m obsessed. I ordered the grape leaves, hummus, & chicken gyro. The grape leaves and the tzatziki were okay, I was expecting a tangy, lemony flavor with the grape leaves along with a more traditional look as well as flavor to the tzatziki, however the hummus & chicken gyro were very good. The hummus was creamy & the gyro was light, airy, & mild…it felt like I was eating healthy. The owner provided a free sample of their falafel…which I had at another establishment years ago & didn’t like…when I returned on Sunday I ordered that along with the chicken gyro, & the owner gave me a free paklava dessert-to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it as I’ve found others hit or miss & off putting. Needless to say, I had an amazing experience & I’ll definitely be a repeat customer for sure when I’m in town.“

“We have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant and we found it tonight! Oriental Taste is wonderful! The food was perfect, the restaurant is clean and the employees are very nice and helpful.

We had Kung Pao chicken w white rice, General Tso's chicken w fried rice and spring rolls. All were delicious and the portions large.

Love the vegetarian and vegan options and there's ton's of great flavor in everything I've tried... from some nice light tacos to their decadent chorizo and queso dip (available with the vegan meat as well!) ... it's just all super fresh stuff, and on top of that the service is great - wicked friendly and down-to-earth small business vibe AND they get your order ready.

Sometimes the phone is busy, but every time I've just walked into put in a takeout order I'm out the door with some yummy food in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!“

“I drive by almost everyday & today as I was driving home from work I stopped in. Can I just tell you what a wonderful experience I had? The customer service was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by their selections & when I viewed their pies, to my surprise they had a strawberry shortcake that was breathtaking by the appearance alone. “THAT’S THE ONE!” Those were my words! After dinner my mom, my boyfriend & me sat to have a serving each. The mmmm hmmmssss were the only words we were able to UDDER… lol! Hands down great quality & delicious! “Sundaes has always been my favorite ice cream shop. Last year I developed an allergy to tree nuts. It is severe. Out of all of the places I have been to eat Sundaes Cranston has gone above and beyond to ensure no exposure to tree nuts. The staff is pleasant and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the training that these employees have been given. Thank you so much. I love still being able to enjoy my favorite ice cream.“

“Ordered for first time using instacart tonight. Been wanting to try it for a long time. Ordered the hot honey, pepperoni, basil, tomato sauce and ricotta. I left off the hot honey...wasn't ready for that. It was delicious. I am a new patron! Crust is crisp and tight, toppings were fresh, ricotta was creamy. I'll give it a 9.5. Only note was it was not kept hot and I ordered it well done and it was regular done...2 minor blips.“
