“If you are looking for affordable, tasty food and great portions? This is the spot! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the man behind the counter. I had a lot of questions and he answered them kindly and informed about so many items on the menu. There is an option for everybody! They have a good amount of high chairs where you can sit and eat. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai; it was fresh, hot and had a nice kick to it. For a drink, I ordered the strawberry passion fruit slush with lychee jelly. So good! I cannot wait to return!“

Beautifully prepared and delicious food served in an eclectic library setting. It's almost like being at someone's house. And all for a good cause as people learn the restaurant business. “Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. The coffee is alluring. When my sister and I arrived, The soothing aroma greeted us. Just couldn't wait to order, sit down and relax after food shopping. The parking, entrance and exit. Accessibility is easy off the main road. The location is easy to find.“

“Maria's Cucina hosted our recent wedding reception. I made arrangements with the previous owner and was blind-sided to learn that he had sold the restaurant one month prior to our wedding. I met with new owners Raymond and Brynn and they were both outstanding. They immediately made us comfortable that they were prepared to make our wedding reception a beautiful and memorable event. And WOW did they deliver. The food was excellent, the service truly top-notch, and it is a stunning and classy venue. Our waiter Paul was exceptional. Providence is blessed to have such an outstanding restaurant for all to enjoy.“

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! I've struggled with finding an Italian restaurant I'm comfortable eating at for years! Our server, Morgan, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe while eating here! I would happily take the 45 minute drive down here to eat again.“

“I’d like to give a shout out to a local businesses where I had an absolutely delicious meal. I was looking for something new & different in the Cranston area close to Garden City that wasn’t the same old monotonous fare that I’m used to. I stopped in for lunch on Thursday as I had an appointment on Reservoir Ave & again for dinner on Sunday after I picked up a cake at Antonio's Bakery. I’d like to start out by saying, I’m half Italian on my Dad’s side (Neapolitan, from the Avelino region, & Sicilian, specifically from Messina) & a quarter Armenian on my Mom’s side (ancient Armenia which is modern day Turkey)…so therefore I’m extremely fussy about my Italian, Armenian, Mediterranean, & Middle Eastern cuisine; my Grandma (Neapolitan) & Grandma (Armenian) were outstanding chef’s in their respective kitchens, & I was outrageously spoiled as a child & very rarely ate out, I had the best of the best~those skills were certainly not passed down nor inherited by me-scrambled eggs in the microwave anyone. With that being said… The owner (who is from Syria, so you know you’re getting an authentic product) & his team provided great customer service, very attentive & patient, knowledgeable about the food they’re serving & able to explain the flavor profile of each item. The restaurant is pretty well taken care of & clean. They encouraged me to try the shawarma, I’m glad I listened, I wasn’t disappointed…now I’m obsessed. I ordered the grape leaves, hummus, & chicken gyro. The grape leaves and the tzatziki were okay, I was expecting a tangy, lemony flavor with the grape leaves along with a more traditional look as well as flavor to the tzatziki, however the hummus & chicken gyro were very good. The hummus was creamy & the gyro was light, airy, & mild…it felt like I was eating healthy. The owner provided a free sample of their falafel…which I had at another establishment years ago & didn’t like…when I returned on Sunday I ordered that along with the chicken gyro, & the owner gave me a free paklava dessert-to my surprise I thoroughly enjoyed it as I’ve found others hit or miss & off putting. Needless to say, I had an amazing experience & I’ll definitely be a repeat customer for sure when I’m in town.“

I have never had to wait to be seated, food comes out timely and perfect temperature. Im making it a point to try as much as I can on the menu and enjoy my iced tea with simple syrup. “Food was delicious: the mushroom soup was best ever, chef's specialty given his knowledge and use of wild mushrooms; boeuf bourguignon was superb; the creme brûlée was the best I've ever had. Wine list is extensive -- we each had a glass of wine with dinner post cocktail earlier (full bar). Owner came by for a delightful conversation and later brought the chef with him. Restaurant is open Friday and Saturday only -- well worth the wait and reservations. It's quite a lovely restaurant.“

“5 Stars! Buttonwoods is a wonderful brewery! The beer is always delicious! The bartenders are just the sweetest! The food at Screaming Unicorn’s kitchen always hits just right. Plus, Big Time Trivia is the best trivia in the state, and it’s clear that Buttonwoods has the best social media presence out of every brewery I’ve been to. I just wish their dog-friendly patio looked better. =(“

“This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own.
