Helado Taiyaki PVD Reviews
This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own. I had custard in mine with chocolates ice cream, dulce de leche over the top and covered in coconut. Absolutely delicious! My foodie friend introduced me. They definitely enjoyed theirs! Thank you!
I went there on a Sunday afternoon right before they opened for business, and they already had a line of people waiting outside; I knew that meant that they were good. Once the doors opened, the line moved quickly.
The service (which is incredibly important to me) was very professional and friendly. The place is clean and modern, and the vibe was great.

The place in Little Italy Providence has fun choices for all ages. Decorative cones are marvels and the 鯛魚燒 is amazing at the edge of the area. The menu is limited but espresso drinks and fun croissants are heavenly. A seasonal latte is pretty good and dulce de leche latte is rich, creamy and strong with a cute little croissant on top. The mini vanilla bean pastry croissant is super soft, buttery and delicious. The caprese sandwich served on a croissant is tasty but it missing something more pesto or basil perhaps. Ice cream is top notch; the Ube Taiyaki and Oreo Taiyaki are very good, the strawberry tart with matcha tastes amazing, and the vanilla ice cream is very good. Staff is super friendly, quick and helpful. The cafe has some really fun murals and street parking off the hill. Inside and soft serve ice cream spot is a fantastic place to check out for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
