“Reservations at the Capital Grille were solidified, got the Uber to take us there, to the theatre afterwards, so, time was of the essence. Escorted to the table, my dinner companion who was walking with a cane, asking our table walker to wait a moment, she did. we were seated at the table nearest the kitchen, mind you dinner service was just starting and the conversations coming from the kitchen were just starting to filter in. was not loud, by any stretch, but I knew as the evening progressed it would get louder. Asking for a new table, the waitstaff did accommodate, we arrived at the wine room. my handicap is deafness in my left ear and to be able to hear my dinner companion and the wait staff is crucial. the room was much quieter, more comfortable. Introduced to Ian, our waiter. He discussed specials, entrees and if time provided, desserts. Decisions were made on appetizers (two wedge salads) main course (fillet mignon, sirloin steak) and sides (asparagus and the mashed potatoes) the salads were delicious and eaten with great vigor. the main courses came with hearty appetites and no disappointment or argument. Ian, on top of his game answered some questions about the restaurant and it's history. My steak knife was the only issue, after being told by Ian that the knives do not get sharpened I thought I was being a trifle petty, but it did take an effort to cut through my steak, the steak was quite delicious and like I said, maybe I was being a touch petty about the steak knife. Ian made the dinner experience well worth the time and I would love to visit again.”

“We went here for a private family event. The aspect that stood out the nest was the service. The entire staff feom the managers, bartenders, and servers are just true professionals. They were always there with whatever was needed. Absolutely legendary service. Having the river and firewater event right next door was also a thrill. The food was very good but lacked a little flavor. We will definitely be back for a regular dinner here sooner rather than later. A true Providence gem of a restaurant!”

“We ate here for the first time on an evening that the restaurant was also hosting a large upstairs party. The dining areas are beautiful and the food delicious. In spite of the demands on the kitchen, we felt that Nick, our server, kept food and drink coming to our table in a leisurely... but not really delayed... manner, giving us the opportunity to enjoy the food and the company of our friends. We look forward to returning to this restaurant.”

“Our thanksgiving plans were cancelled last minute so Massimo was the only place we could get a reservation. Our server Janelle was very good she was very bubbly and was smiling all the time even though she was working on Thanksgiving. This was our 2nd visit to Massimo's and we are going back soon. The Thanksgiving meal we had was fabulous. I felt like we were treated like family. This is at the top of our list from now on. Thanks to all the staff who had to work on Thanksgiving and for treating us like family!”

“Food and service were very good. Kitchen was quick with apps but we waited nearly 1 hour for our entrees to come out - granted it was quite busy. Table of 4 on a Friday night. Server war very friendly and quick with drink refills & waters nice wine/cocktail selection.”

“Food was excellent. I recommended to my dinner companions and they were completely satisfied which made me happy. However, a mouse ran across the floor just as we were leaving. I'm inclined to believe this kind of problem happens at the best restaurants on rare occasions but it wasn't the best end of the evening”

“You will be blown away by the service. Fun foods, very unique drinks, and a cool vibe. Go on Thursdays for the live jazz. It's great to visit a place that really cares about you and your experience.”

“Stunning location for a date a drink or a large gathering. Service is always attentive, but not intrusive. On warm nights the garden style open air area is lined with flowers and candle light. The inside is resplendent with beautiful lighting, decor and art. Highly recommend the buffet brunch, and treat yourself to some henna while you wait.Vegetarian options: Don't worry, you'll be at home here. Cheese is in a lot of the dishes so vegans must pay close attention. they'll still have enough to keep you happy.”

“Went here earlier this year with my friend, we just checked the photos and HAD to leave a review. The server Alexi Boutros was a sweetheart, helped us choose a dish and had great customer service. Food was amazing!”

“We hadn't been to Ten in quite sometime and it was as good as we remembered. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and it was so nice to be back at such a nice restaurant.”

“I freakin' love this place. They have consistently amazing food that switches up, and I dig that variety. The beef stroganoff is straight up the best I've ever had. The street noods and chicken nugs are perfect with some late night drinks. If anything isn't up to your standards, the customer service is flawless. Waitstaff is consistently awesome and friendly.Really awesome spot ambiance-wise, too. Great music, a patio, a huge bar if you just want to drink and grab a bite. Their brunch is also fantastic. This is a spot I recommend to all my friends when they come in and want a truly to have fun and hang out.”

“This was our first time eating here. The food was amazing, so delicious. The service was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. Our waiter Sebastián was so kind, and gave us the best suggestions. We'll definitely come back many times. I highly recommend this place to everyone.”

“The food was fantastic. We got the bibimbap and the Ivy Burger and both were fantastic. The server was great and super nice. The only complaint that I have is that it can get super busy and crowded and the staff seem overwhelmed. Maybe adding another server during rush times might make it a smoother time. It's a small place but probably too much for one server and a bartender to handle.”

“I recently rented Moniker out for a staff party and BOY am I happy I did! Beyond the beer being great, the staff took such good care of us and was wonderfully communicative during the planning process. (They even let us bring Undertow, the brass band, to the party!) The result? The vibe was perfect, the food was great, our staff was happy. Thanks Moniker!”

“We came for the beer BUT THE FOOD IS PERFECTION. We found this place on our last night in Providence, unfortunately. I would travel to this city again strictly to revisit Bayberry.”

“I loved it here! The pancakes were affordable and delicious. I booked the speakeasy as a private room for my birthday party and it was perfect. Our waitress was super nice and the space was roomy, cute, and comfy. Can't recommend enough!!The George is beautiful upstairs and downstairs and has a very sleek look to it. Situated nicely downtown near some of my favorite stores.”

“WOW!Where do I begin?!Our server Zack was amazing!! Insanely attentive, very transparent, and very informative about the menu. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were fantastic. The butter that is served with the bread is absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend the Wagu! My partner got the filet, & it is by far the best filet I’ve ever had. 100% would recommend!!”

“Bacco Vino Contorni is truly a gem in the restaurant scene on Federal Hill, offering an exquisite dining experience like no other. The food, crafted with passion and expertise, is consistently delectable, with the menu boasting an impressive array of dishes that cater to a wide range of palates. The real stars of Bacco Vino Contorni, however, are the people behind it. Owner Armando's warm and welcoming demeanor makes every visit feel like a homecoming, and his dedication to providing top-notch dining experiences is evident in every detail. The exceptional service offered by Dan, our waiter, is also worth mentioning. His attentiveness, knowledge, and keen sense of timing greatly enhanced our dining experience.”

“Cool place but the food servings have some to be desired. It's a great cocktail place but don't come hungry. FF were excellent. The charcuterie board is the smallest that I've ever seen.”
“Absolutely delicious dinner and the service was impeccable! The oysters were the best we've had in years and cod and chicken entrees are recommended. Recommend this restaurant for locals and those coming in from out of town.”

“Wonderful place and atmosphere. Went for brunch on a Saturday morning. Recommend reservations as this place isn't a secret. The food was delicious, and the breakfast pizza was spot on. It was good to see the owner walking the floor and talking with customers. Will definitely go ”

“Great food and lucky to have a wonderful seat on the patio! Our brunch was delicious, and meats were perfectly cooked. Only slight hiccup was the server telling us that only drinks on the brunch menu were allowed (no Manhattan), but she asked and got "special permission". Silly. Otherwise, a flawless visit.”

“Order at the counter, standing only high tops inside, no seating outside. Chill Atmosphere, fast service, nice people. No alcohol. The fruity pebble taco was a huge hit for my friends 3yro niece. Definitely recommend in the summer .”

“I really enjoy this Talullahs location. We went on a nice sunny day and all of the doors were open which was very inviting. I think the atmosphere is big and bright with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was a little slow, but we ordered everything we were looking for with no issues. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla which had 3 different choices for filling. I decided on the black bean option and it was SUPER flavorful and filling. I was a little hesitant that it was a bit pricey for the portion size but it was worth it. I ordered a side of the chipotle potatoes and a guava agua fresca and both were delicious. I find the food here to be quite tangy/acidic which is perfect for someone like me who loves those flavors. The pickled radishes are absolutely to die for and my favorite part of the whole dish!”
Options
“Really enjoyed our visit here. Staff was super friendly and kind. The Country Chicken was great; the “chicken” patties would fool nine out of ten meat eaters and were super yummy. The salad on the Greek plate was the star there. The one mixed drink we had was amazing, Rosemary Lavender Lemon Drop that tasted like all those things. Would certainly go back next time we are in town since there are some more menu options that sounded great.”

“This place was recommended through a foodie friend. I came here yesterday with my family. It was such a charming restaurant - perfect spot for a rainy day. You order at the counter and then choose a somewhere to sit. We came here around 4pm and it wasn't too busy but by about 7pm it started to. We ordered some Turkish coffee and some baba ganoush and hummus to share- we felt for something light to have till dinner time. I'm not usually a fan of baba ganoush, something about the texture, so I usually go for hummus BUT I always like to try things again in case I develop a liking for it and I will say, THIS baba ganoush is one of the best ones I've ever had. It was so creamy and smokey and just the right texture *for me*. I ended up having more than I said I would. We ordered some of their famous baklava to take home and they were delectable. The next time I'm back in Providence I definitely have to come back here and try their kabobs and wraps from how good it looked when the servers brought them out to other tables.”

“Madrid European Bakery and Patisserie is located on Wayland Ave in Providence, RI. The bakery is very inviting. There is seating outside and inside. The doors are wide open. Service is quick and there are always customers. I ordered their Chai Latte, vanilla san marcos, and chocolate ganache and raspberry bombon the first time. I wasn't too impressed with the pastries so I thought I would give it another chance. The second time I had their pastel vasco, lime w/santiago, and butter croissant. My favorite from the second time was the pastel vasco. It was very light. The butter croissant was very flaky and fresh. The lime santiago was a bit too limey for me. Both times my order came out to be a little over $20.00.”

“The service here is awesome. The staff works in a team and they are so attentive that it borders on overly attentive. The birria tacos are delicious with perfectly done tortillas. The meat itself is a bit overcooked but the birria consommé gets soaked right up by the meat. The place is super cute too. I love the indoor pergola with lights and greenery.”

“Came here for the tasting menu in June for my birthday and it was one of the best meals of my life. I came here this weekend to celebrate another special occasion and they really go above and beyond. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. The little touches really go far here. I love this restaurant!”

“Totally excellent. Back again after my last visit to Providence. Some of the best Falafel and homemade Tzatziki I've ever tried. High quality and the owner cares a lot about quality of cooking and flavor. Great food made with lots of attention to taste, texture, and the details of a good lunch (or any meal!).:)Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian food; simple selection but delicious. Falafel is the clear example here. Plenty of tasty non-veggie options, so this could be a spot to go with a group including both vegetarians and meat eaters. The desert is vegetarian - namely, the great flavors of baklava!”

“We finally made it off the waitlist! We tried most of the croissants off the menu, my favorite was the everything croissant with cream cheese, but all of them were outstanding! The best croissants I’ve had in New England. The proprietor was friendly and knowledgeable and the new spot in Pawtucket is walkable from our place, which is an added bonus. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“I have visited Den Den on numerous occasions and consistently find it to be an enjoyable experience. The cuisine is both abundant and delectable, offering a pleasing variety. The venue's ambiance is well-designed, providing a comfortable space. Although parking poses a slight challenge, the restaurant's location along Historical Benefit Street compensates for it. I particularly appreciate the aesthetic appeal of the large ivy adorning the side of the building and the retaining walls surrounding the parking area.”

“The food was very good wait staff was also excellent third time I've been there if you like seafood try the fried smelts as an appetizer probably some of the best I've ever had this place is a must try”

“I had the kitchen sink with hot fudge and it was delicious! The staff is extremely friendly, too.I would genuinely choose to come to this place again, and this is coming from a non-vegan who usually avoids vegan products altogether.”

“First time trying Pane and my friend and I couldn't be more happy! The atmosphere was warm, cozy and a great place to take a date. The food was so fresh and homemade. We are true foodies and they really impressed us! Absolutely delicious. To top off this great experience was our server Autumn. She was very knowledgeable about all the dishes and ingredients. She really made our dinner such an enjoyable experience. Thank you truly Autumn.”

“Our party of three had a wonderful dining experience. Al Forno truly has its act together from a quality of food perspective, service perspective, and, importantly, the pace of service.”

“Love the Thurbers Ave location, great food, good service and nice dine out patio. Unfortunately, had a not so great experience with the takeout from the Hartford Ave foodtruck twice. Food did not have the same flavor, it was cold upon arrival and it wasn't made with the same pride as Thurber's Ave. I've also read that their consume comes from an area where it's made less thick and more watery which is also kind of a miss when it comes to your taco not being fully coated in juicy flavor. Overall, still recommend if you can get to the Thurber's Ave location before it gets too cold and they shut down, And thank goodness the birria burrito is back!”

“This place is outstanding! The blizzard was so amazing. The people there were so friendly and kind. It's amazing how they delivered during the COVID-19. I love how this restaurant has so many options to choose from, and this is for sure a 5 star restaurant!”

“I visited Viva Mexico a few days ago with my family and it was a great experience, it was really busy but the food didn’t take a long time and it was definitely worth it. Jose was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. I will be back!”

“I’m absolutely serious when I say this: this is the best pizza I have had in my entire life. I’ve tried Chicago, NYC, and New Haven pizza. This pizza is hands down #1. Not even a contest to be honest. Compliments to the chef”
Options
“A solid alternative to Popeyes or KFC with a Central American twist. Chicken is usually great, love their spicy chicken sandwich. Sides are alright but the chicken is what you’re coming for. Prices are pretty reasonable. My biggest complaint is that it’s usually quite busy, and you’ll probably have a longer wait for your food here compared with most other fast food places. Food is definitely worth the slightly longer wait though.”

“Every time I go out I never leave reviews about anywhere but I can honestly say out of all the Dunkin in the providence area this has to be the best one so far!!! Every time I visit someone remembers my order it’s just perfect accuracy you don’t find that a lot anywhere. The workers are always running around working hard and the manager is really good at his job the place is always spotless always has the people cleaning I just love this location !!!!!”
Options
“Shout out to ladies who always make my coffee with love. These Dunkin employees are always so sweet and know how to make a good Dunkin coffee. Dunkin parking always sucks and this location is no different, line is always wrapped around. I recommend to just place the order thru the app and walk in to pick it up. Saves time and it's pretty fast.”

“Delicious lunch on a rainy day! To start, we shared the spinach salad with goat cheese, dried cranberries and nuts - fresh and perfectly dressed. For mains, we had the tortellini alla panna and the pork ragu over pacchieri pasta with fresh ricotta. Both dishes were beautifully cooked and presented, and the generous portions meant we could enjoy seconds at home.”

“3 years ago I have rated this Kentucky fried Chicken 3 stars I went back couple of days ago big improvement the building has been painted the interior has been updated and the employees have improved with customer service I am very pleased to say that I'm giving this Kentucky fried Chicken five stars due to their improvement and customer service sincerely Pierre”

“Went through their drive thru and ordered a chicken sandwich. The chicken was hot and crispy. The bun was nice and it tasted fresh. This is fast food...we are not expecting to get premium batter and seasonings on a KFC chicken sandwich, so the sandwich was good for the price paid.I still like Popeye's better for their spicy chicken sandwich, but this KFC is close to the condo, so it was convenient. The store is kind of close to the main street, so it's a bit of a traffic jam to get in and out of the drive through based on the way the driveway is positioned, otherwise, it's fine.”

“I had a Reward in my Dunkin' account and decided to redeem for a nice blueberry glazed donut. This type is higher in calories than the regular glazed donut, but I do like blueberry flavor stuff.I got on my mobile app, chose the right store, placed the order and applied my reward for a free donut...easy and painless. When I arrived at the store, my order was not out yet and there were a lot of people waiting, so I patiently waited and when the lady had a minute, I showed her my order on my phone and she grabbed my donut in a few seconds.Delicious...especially when I took it home and microwaved it for a few seconds...it was warm and fluffier....”

“I usually tend to go in the morning and get a special treat. Doughnuts are the usual. Staff will take your order respectfully. Most people enjoy sprinkles on their yummy treat, while otherwise I don't appreciate sprinkles. The texture of them doesn't suit me. So, the other day, I paid for chocolate and strawberry frosted doughnuts. I asked for no sprinkles on my treat. So, I didn't look in the bag when driving home. When I came home, there were sprinkles on the doughnut when I mentioned I wanted none. But that wasn't bad. Usual shop for doughnuts and not unique from other Dunkin' shops.”

“This Starbucks is near home, so I come here often and I've always had a good experience. My favorite thing to get is a Grande Nitro Black! It will give you a good jolt of caffeine, low calorie, and creamy! I have to say that the employees seem reallllly happy, which is awesome to see from any restaurant. It reflects well on the company and leadership when their employees are very pleasant to customers. My one criticism about this location is that it's usually VERY busy!! It's not uncommon to be in a 10+ car drive Thru line and have a long wait for your order. I keep coming back because of the great product, but I do have days that I'll avoid the wait.-ODLConnect with me!IG & YouTube: @AOEAT”

“I think Dusk is the best sounding room in Providence . I also like the variety of bands that play there . From indie rock to EDM to rap and metal . Dusk hosts all of this and more . My only complaint is the bar . It's a beautiful bar but it takes up so much space in the room . They could get a lot more people in if they put that bar flat across the back wall . That is a minor complaint . I love Dusk .”
“Place has really good vibe, nice indoor and outdoor space, interessting games to play. Beer selection is overall not great, I liked a lot sour raspberry, but IPAs were kind of boaring and similar taste.”

“Who woulda thought this bakery had such dynamite calzones? You can stop in for a quick bite at a good price or order a full sized one for pickup.A diamond in the rough!”

“My favorite coffee shop in Providence. Love the vegan options. As of the time of writing 8/31/2023, they have bagels, vegan cream cheese, vegan sausage, vegan egg, vegan cheese, a few vegan pastry options, and more. Great place to eat in or out on the sidewalk chairs.”

“Enjoyed the BBQ chicken slice I got here. It was $4.32 with tax and was high quality. The slice wasn’t that big, but it was crunchy and flavorful. The pizza is very similar to Fellini’s, but Nice Slice’s options aren’t as unique as Fellini’s and they have less options.Little expensive for the size of the slice and their full specialty pies are really high, just under $30!”

“To call CSP a classic dive bar is not quite accurate. It is a fun, neighborhood bar. The outdoor spaces are so creative and fantasy based, you cannot help but enjoy your drinks.”
“Decent coffee here. I got a large drip/filtered coffee for $5 and I really liked the taste. I got some floral hints. It was their light roast from Peru. However, the consistency was very thin, similar to Dunkin’s thinness. Luckily, because of the taste, it was still palatable. Prices are pretty high here. A smaller size drip coffee is $4 and their lattes are $6+.”

“Not closed. Went today and got six calzones. As good as ever. Owner was previously sick so she is only open Thursday through Saturday now. Really. You can be happy again.”

“This place is what I’ve been looking for!! Panito dulce y Frances ALWAYS on deck and tasting fresh. I love it and especially the chocobananos! Makes me feel like I’m at home!”
“I'm in PVD for college and I had a taste for Indian food. I found about this place on Tripadvisor. I went to it on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy, had a reservation but could of gotten in without it. The service was ok, was somewhat attentive, but could of came by more. The food was good but could of had more flavor. I've had better at other places. But I would defiantly go back.”

“My recent visit to Gift Horse was like unwrapping a delightful present! The journey began with a dozen oysters sourced from different corners of New England. But here’s the twist – you get to play oyster connoisseur by choosing where they come from on a little card. When they arrived, it was like an oyster treasure hunt – perfectly organized so you know exactly which oyster is from which region. It added an extra layer of fun to the meal. The excitement didn’t stop at the oysters; it extended to the bar. The bartender was a true magician, offering great drink recommendations that hit the spot. Every cocktail was mixed with such finesse that it felt like a work of art in a glass. The restaurant’s vibe is the cherry on top. It’s chic and stylish, creating an atmosphere that’s just right for a good time. The kind of place where you can let loose, kick back, and thoroughly enjoy your meal.In a nutshell, dining at Gift Horse was more than just a dinner; it was an adventure. From the oysters to the crafty drinks to the awesome ambiance, it was an evening filled with flavor, fun, and fantastic memories.I had an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to unwrap more joy at Gift Horse soon!”

“It's fantastic to have a big, beautiful coffee shop in the city that has incredibly wonderful food, drinks, and service, and is open until 7pm. My only complaint--and this is a big deal for me, and perhaps unique to me, and why I can't give it 5 stars--is that the space is cold (in terms of temperature). I simply can't function in a place where I mostly feel cold (even when I keep my jacket on and wear a hat) . Sadly, it means I'll have to visit only occasionally for very brief periods.”

“My husband and I LOVEE this place so much, their team is so friendly and informative. The food is always on point every time we went there. Highlight recommend level 1 or 2 for starters then you can level up your spice for the next visit. We always wish to have a place like this in RI and we’re so glad it’s here.”

“I'm writing this for one simple reason, Yelp now has a list of top new spots to have a drink in Providence. I haven't any doubt that juniper should be on the top of that list. Brian Oakley of Julian's and Pizza J, and Morgan Snyder of Buttonwoods Brewery, have joined forces for the re-opening of the speakeasy bar in the Rooms & Works building on the West Side of Providence. The space formerly known as Far West, and later as High Dive. The new bar has been running in soft open/trial period for the month of August and it's a smashing good effort. Still has all the cool character the small industrial space is imbued with, and a smart and sharp cocktail menu with more than a few nods to the past. First of which is an homage to the BAG&T that Far West made famous. As I understand it, the new owners reached out to Michele and Luke for their blessings, and with a sip of the minty concoction it's almost like they never left. Add in a still fresh from the oven donut from Knead if you're lucky, or a RI slice from Pizza J, a really well made Daiquiri, or one of the most delicious MaiTai I've had in many years, this spot is a Gem. A+ and totally worth trying to find the secret password to get in during the limited hours it's open. See you there.”
“I had an Americano and the taste was not fantastic. Perhaps because I just returned from Italy and got used to the espressos and americanos there. Nice concept, worth checking out.”

The food was very good but lacked a little flavor. We will definitely be back for a regular dinner here sooner rather than later. A true Providence gem of a restaurant!”

“One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Providence! The atmosphere is beautiful and intimate. Attentive service and each dish from appetizer, main course, to desert was delicious.”

“Came here for the tasting menu in June for my birthday and it was one of the best meals of my life. I came here this weekend to celebrate another special occasion and they really go above and beyond. The food was incredible and the service was amazing. The little touches really go far here. I love this restaurant!”
