“This little restaurant, raw bar, bar bar is not messing around. They handle their shellfish perfectly, cold, crazy fresh, and masterfully shucked. I recommend just a dash of the mignonette to just highlight the delicious flavors of the posters. The bartender told me the raw scallops have never left the menu so I ordered them. I can see why they're almost a signature of GH. The bok choy pancake is really good but strangely filling. Plenty for 2.
The cocktails are well mixed.

“A wonderful place with exceptional friendly service . The puff cakes are a dream . I ordered mine with fresh fruit . We also ordered the scrambled eggs. Light and fluffy it was delicious . The only thing we did relay to the staff ? It is served in a small cast iron pan and I immediately noticed a strong fishy taste in the eggs . Waitress told us they cook the lobster Mac in said pan . This could be a huge problem for the restaurant as some people are allergic to shellfish and could have a bad reaction to the scrambled eggs . We definitely will be back !”

Just tried the pizza off the new Mr. Greek's (Souvlaki Zone) expanded menu and again, I am TRULY blown away. I ordered the South American pizza and could tell right away this pizza was made with love. The onions and jalapenos were charred and cooked perfectly, and the sliced chorizo was such a wonderful surprise! This place is such a gem!!
Every time I go here I am truly blown away. The classic chicken gyro is absolutely to die for. The portions are amazing and the meat is always seasoned perfectly. A 10/10 every time.”
“What can I say? Avenue N is definitely one of the best in the state for farm to table comfort food and cocktails. However they really outdid themselves with, what I would call, the new “it” dinner option- the birrio burger. Every bite has flavor & every bite melts in your mouth. I hope this becomes a weekly special due to its uniqueness. My “pear-suasion” drink complimented it perfectly. As always the staff there is top notch. Definitely make a reservation for an epic experience. PS please change up your dessert menu. We need some new creations.”
“Seller was not very polite, she was in a hurry like there was a bunch of customers behind us even when we were the only ones. I was choosing my macaroons flavors for my box of twelve and she was “keep going, keep going” made me feel anxious. I gave her a tip just to be polite. Good product, poor customer service.”

“I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.”
“We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!”

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!”
“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though”
“Been patronizing Angelo's for years (years & years) - it's my 'Go To' place in Providence for Italian. There are plenty of good Italian Restaurants but Angelo's treats you like family . My favorte server is Thera - always smiling - always friendly - and always flying around the resturant making sure everyone is happy. My recommendation - ask for her :-)”
“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. Highly recommend”

“I was visiting from out of state (Texas) and was trying to find something that would remind me of home. I'm glad this place was just a minute walk from where I stayed. The guy behind the counter was very pleasant and he helped me so much with my order. I ordered some banh mi. He was also great to talk to. The atmosphere was darkly lit, so it felt good on my eyes. And the menu was huge! Check this place out if you're ever stopping by this area.”
“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !”

“Cheryl and I dined with friends last night at Casa Azul Taqueria at 840 Allens Avenue in Providence. Although the place is small, with just three tables and primarily offering takeout, the food is fantastic, featuring great vegan options. We're definitely going back!”

“Who me? Yeah I like eating. I do it all the time. It can be difficult to choose where to eat in such a compact city ripping thru the flavor seams of our transcendental existence. I’m lucky to have Pickerel as a way of keeping me grounded as I navigate these feelings. From the passionate and welcoming staff to the otherworldly flavors, having a perfect time at this eatery is the least difficult decision you’ll ever have to make. Of course the ramen but the wings and the dessert? Two words : “yeah man””

The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “We had the privilege of dining at Mills on Friday evening. As out-of-state visitors, our experience at this establishment will undoubtedly prompt us to return. From the complimentary valet service to the ambiance and cuisine, the overall experience was exceptional. The culinary offerings were of the highest quality, exceeding any preconceived notions we had. The restaurant also handled my dietary restrictions with the utmost care and sensitivity, allowing me to enjoy the meal without concern for any adverse reactions. I strongly recommend that you visit this restaurant, as you are sure to be thoroughly impressed.”

I've had one of the best steaks I've had in years.....I'm a former chef and as a chef I look for all aspects in a restaurant...My wife recommended Fleming's due to the fact that she went there in Florida...we had the most attentive waitress by the name of Jocelyn. “Absolutely love this coffee shop! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, always eager to recommend something new or tailor a drink to your taste. The coffee is top-notch—smooth, rich, and perfectly brewed every time. I particularly enjoy their signature lattes and the selection of freshly baked pastries that pair beautifully with the drinks. The seating area is comfortable, with a nice mix of quiet corners for working and a lively vibe for socializing. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or settling in for a while, it’s always a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!”

But I live in the Boston area and I just gotta say this place beat everybody out in the Boston area, hands-down. The pizza was phenomenal. Let me just tell you about the music piped through the house system me as a DJ and Producer I would hang out there based just on that next time I’m there. This has been my new restaurant to take people to impress them. I’ve brought my whole family here. They were extremely impressed and they are a tough crowd to please….trust me. I’ve also had my whole office go out here one night and they were blown away. My friends from out of town told me that next time they come this is the first place we are going. That’s how blown away they were by the food. I can keep going on about how great this place is. Basically if you have not tried it yet run. This is by far the best new restaurant in Providence”

Decor could use some upgrades.
I'm not a fan of drinking establishments that allow children. There were a lot of babies and toddlers in the house with drinking parents. Also toddlers were climbing on furniture unsupervised. If you are planning on an adult experience without kids or babies, this isn't the place.”

“The part of me that wants everyone to feel what it's like eat at your nonna's house where they think you are the greatest thing that ever happened, triumphed over the part of me that wants to keep this place a secret so there isn't a line out the door every day. Giovanna clearly knew what she thought each of us should eat but tried hard to not let it show "but, eat what you want...." She was excited in the way only a Napolitana can be when we chose her recommendations, osso bucco for Mike and lobster raviolo for me. It was amazing food wrapped in a childhood memory.”

“Traditional, authentic atmosphere and cuisine. Slow cooked layers of flavor for classics like boeuf bourguignon, duck roasted and confit, brained lamb shank. Traditional apps of escargot and a mushroom soup by the in-house mushroom expert.
The only thing untraditional about this French gem is the service, which is far more friendly than I'm used to in a French establishment, and the size of the portion which is definitely more American than French. Other than that, you will be transported to The French countryside during your meal”

“This was an amazing location for a chill romantic dinner. My wife and I were amazed from the first bite of bread. We split apps, trying the beef mofonguitos and the Spruce roll. Even though I dont like sushi, I liked the roll, and the mofonguitos were incredibly well seasoned, and the plantain cups were delicious.
Then our entrees arrived, and we were amazed all over again. I went with the Churrasco Dominican, an incredibly well seasoned steak, with asparagus that almost melted in my mouth. My wife went more Italian, getting the gnocchi, and the combination was delicious.
Fortunately, we left room for dessert, because the cheesecake was velvety in a way that I dont think I have ever had in a cheesecake before (and I have had quite a few).
I already want to go back, and I can absolutely see us going back for their brunch or for their rush hour special on Thursdays. And the staff were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Alysia, was super kind and helpful, and I genuinely hope to have her as our waitress again in the future.
TLDR: I'd go every day if I could afford to. That was probably one of the top 10 meals I've had in my life, and I can't wait to go back.”

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.”

Daughter got the MOAB burger no buns (she’s GF) and son-in-law got the Pastrami sliders and the split a 50/50 onion straw and sweet potatoes! Yum! Wife got the MOAB burgers and they were delicious I got the Fungus Among us burgers … oh boy tasty! We split a 50/50 salt and pepper fry & onion straw. Everything was Hot and Fresh and delicious! “We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!”

“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !”

“My son, daughter in law and three of my grandchildren had the most amazing experience making ice cream with Chef Andrea at Gather Cafe. The class was interesting, informative and so much fun. Chef Andrea explained every step fully and included some of the fascinating science behind turning sugar, eggs, and cream into the most delicious ice cream you will ever have. It was an incredible experience that is now a treasured family memory.
I attended a second class with my two adult grandsons and their wives this weekend and had another amazing experience that was just as special as the first. The staff went out of their way to create a memorable experience that goes beyond just making ice cream. They are warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. And we made five different flavor ice creams including to two that were vegan and they were all outstanding and delicious. I will go back again!!!!”

You should stop in. Take note: it gets busy on weekend afternoons, and it's great to have that energy. But it can get tight with mostly standing room only. Outside of those hours, it's serene. I kinda wish it were laptop-free (maybe on weekends), esp since there's no wifi. But I get it. Other than that little thing, love it. Why haven't you been yet?”
“had a really good first visit. we were craving halal burgers and this delivered. we got the double cheeseburger with halal beef bacon, no ketchup. they need to carry mustard in the store lol but other than that, this was delicious. it takes a little longer because it's made to order but they grill the bread and patty and chop the bacon finely and then add the vegetables. their pickles are really good. we got the pakora fries and they were a nice change from regular fries. the inside was so clean and has single lock restrooms. and the servers were so helpful for a takeout casual spot like this one. on my way back for the golden balance shawarma soon.”

Talked with the owner who was Born in Brazil and I told him it's unique what he's doing with Chinese food AND Italian food. He said he's going to be doing Brazilian food also down the line.
