“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.”

“Today was me and my wife’s first time going to Olneyville New York System in Providence and we were both in awe while we were there and we kept talking about it how awesome it was after we left. Not only were the wieners excellent but the fries are some of the best we’ve ever had. Gotta get the coffee milk to go with the wieners, it is delicious. Most importantly, I want to give a shoutout to the crew that was working today. You all made us feel so welcome along with being super nice and accommodating to us. All I can say is that we will be back not only for the excellent food but for the atmosphere itself. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you all again. Have a great day !”

“Had the pasta dish (began w L)and pork chop. Both were excellent. Really trendy atmosphere. Also loved the cheese cake dessert. The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.”

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though”

I only got pics of our appetizers as we were hungry and chowed on our mani courses. Started with a 1930 DAQ, Wawtuhmelon and a Vino Rosso Gaio - all drinks were tasty! We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! Daughter ordered the Pink Vodka - also really flavorful with interesting noodles I had not had before. Thank you for a great experience- we shall be back! Thanks Chef Max!”

“We visited Honey Bird back in June. The chicken was outstanding so moist and flavorful. The drinks also did not disappoint, the ingredients blend together so well and zero hang over headache. My 6 year had yummy Mac & cheese with fries.”

The dishes did take some time to come out, and some of the dishes we wanted to try had sold out already by our 7:45pm reservation, so an earlier reservation might help if you have the popular dishes in mind. “We stumbled across this place tonight without realizing it was entirely Vegan. We're not Vegan ourselves, but our daughter is, so we eat a lot of Vegan cuisine. I ordered a zucchini "steak" dish that sounded unique, and my hubby got the country "chicken." Both were extraordinary - the best meal either of us has had since we moved to RI (and we've had some great meals). The food was honestly bursting with flavor, and the quantity was just right. The service was perfect, too, attentive without being intrusive. We debated getting dessert, since the dinner flavor left such a satisfying taste behind, but we couldn't resist the gluten-free chocolate brownie. It came with raspberries on top and a trickle of raspberry sauce, in a combination that was again perfect - crispy edges, a gooey center, sweet and rich but not too much so, with the raspberry flavor offsetting the chocolate in a way I've never tasted in my entire not-particularly-young life. It was so, so good, and to my surprise, it blended well with the dinner flavors. I've been sitting here all evening enjoying the last remnants of the taste, reluctant to go brush my teeth, and I thought I should take a moment to leave a review on the various sites. We will absolutely be return customers, and we can't recommend this restaurant enough!”

“Maria's Cucina hosted our recent wedding reception. I made arrangements with the previous owner and was blind-sided to learn that he had sold the restaurant one month prior to our wedding. I met with new owners Raymond and Brynn and they were both outstanding. They immediately made us comfortable that they were prepared to make our wedding reception a beautiful and memorable event. And WOW did they deliver. The food was excellent, the service truly top-notch, and it is a stunning and classy venue. Our waiter Paul was exceptional. Providence is blessed to have such an outstanding restaurant for all to enjoy.”

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.”

Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. Highly recommend”

The hostess was charming, the waitstaff was professional, and the food was delicious. We started with the Chicken Nuggets & Caviar, crispy and delicious. The Lobster Tortelloni in pink vodka sauce deserves its own fan club. The sauce is rich without being heavy--creamy, bright, and so flavorful! The swordfish entrée was just as impressive. It was beautifully seasoned and grilled to that ideal point where it's still juicy and tender. We finished off the evening with perfect pairing of Creme Brulé and an Affogato. Ten Prime Seafood is a wonderful addition to the Providence restaurant scene!”

They also have strawberry soft serve but that was a little too sweet for me. All kinds of budget friendly summer treats including hard ice cream, loads of topping and wide selection of treats on a stick. It’s our go to when in the area.”

“5 Stars! Buttonwoods is a wonderful brewery! The beer is always delicious! The bartenders are just the sweetest! The food at Screaming Unicorn’s kitchen always hits just right. Plus, Big Time Trivia is the best trivia in the state, and it’s clear that Buttonwoods has the best social media presence out of every brewery I’ve been to. I just wish their dog-friendly patio looked better. =(”

“I love going to Jacky’s at Waterplace because it’s a short walk from work and a perfect spot if it’s sunny out to sit inside. I always get their Bean Curd (tofu) in General Tso’s sauce. It’s extremely well prepared, with a very thin batter and deep fried. I wish I knew how to make it at home. Their lunch special comes with miso soup or side salad (with very good carrot ginger dressing) and is served with either white, brown, or fried rice and broccoli. No substitutions are allowed but excellent lunch at $12 (2026).”

Recently moved from Southern California to New England, so I’ve been looking for Mexican spots that hit the mark. Cielito didn’t disappoint.

Also, don’t skip dessert. They have some creative options, and the corn cheesecake was amazing.”

I definitely wasn't the only person still there. I hope they would kick me out though if I was getting in their way! Hope they can add more (later) hours soon! “The part of me that wants everyone to feel what it's like eat at your nonna's house where they think you are the greatest thing that ever happened, triumphed over the part of me that wants to keep this place a secret so there isn't a line out the door every day. Giovanna clearly knew what she thought each of us should eat but tried hard to not let it show "but, eat what you want...." She was excited in the way only a Napolitana can be when we chose her recommendations, osso bucco for Mike and lobster raviolo for me. It was amazing food wrapped in a childhood memory.”

Beautifully prepared and delicious food served in an eclectic library setting. It's almost like being at someone's house. And all for a good cause as people learn the restaurant business. What blew me away was their dedication, the barista pulled off incredible latte art on every single hot cup in just two minutes! It did take about 20 minutes total to get our drinks, but considering there was only one barista handling a huge queue of orders, their speed and craft were super impressive. Definitely worth the wait!”
