“I've recently travelled from England to visit a friend in Rhode Island. She purchased one of your cakes as a welcome cake a cute one with bees on it and also some chocolate chip cookies. The cake was absolutely amazing and is by far the best I have ever tasted. The cookies were great too.“

“A local cafe with delicious bakery.
Star-shaped gingerbread cookies are my favorite.
They have an extensive menu of hot and cold drinks that I definitely recommend.
If you are a foreigner, you should know that local coffee shops offer you a bar where you can prepare your coffee to your liking, there are different types of sweeteners and also different types of milk.
If you are in Providence and craving coffee, PLEASE don't look for a Starbucks and give Seven Stars a try ? “
“I have been planning to try Butterbang for so long as the croissants look amazing and they have wonderful reviews. So glad I finally did because they are hands down one of THE BEST croissants we had!
We tried the classic and pan au chocolate which were made to perfection. Airy and buttery, right proportion of chocolate.
It is so easy to buy them online and I got the confirmation email right after. Easy pick up, friendly and fast service. The place smells amazing. There is parking in front of the store.“

“I am new in town and decided to go to Seven Stars Bakery for a coffee break. The interior is so beautiful! They have this little outside space to sit and sip. It was beautified with gorgeous plants. The employees were super nice! They recommended that I try lavender cappuccino, and It was AMAZING.
The coffee was warm, not hot, that I usually prefer, and they didn't have WiFi, which was pretty odd. Overall, I loved the vibe of that place!“

“Popped into this café this morning with my family and was pleasantly surprised at their selection of croissants available. Giant gourmet croissants. I had the pistachio croissant and the filling was absolutely delectable, very nice texture and not too sweet. My husband had the chocolate croissant and he said it was delicious. Our little one loved the matcha cookie. My favorite was their iced matcha with almond milk, very nice that they offered matcha! The owner was very kind and you can tell the staff really values their customers’ experience.“

“I visited on a work/leisure trip and had read about this shop in barista magazine and I’m soooo glad I stopped. The oat cappuccino was delicious and beautiful. I highly recommend the chicken salad sandwich or lentil bowl for lunch! I didn’t get to have any pastries but have no doubt they’re just as good. Wish I had more time to stay longer because it was just great! The staff is sweet and have great anticipatory service skills. You can tell these folks know what they’re doing!“

“I went here three times during my five day visit to Providence. Such a charming coffee shop on a quiet New England street. It’s converted from an old house with big windows with a shoe shining service theme indoors, inducing an old school, nostalgic yet trendy flare. The lattes are spectacular and come with a chocolate coin wrapped in gold paper. I bought one of their candles as a last minute gift and they wrapped it for me for no extra charge.“

“I initially came here to pick up some snacks for my brother, but because there was a deal for 4 donuts, we decided to get one for ourselves as well. It took a while to receive our donuts, but there was a very good reason for that! The donuts were freshly made -- I almost burned by skin/mouth by touching/eating it.
This was the best mochi donut experience I've ever had, and perhaps one of my best donut experiences ever. The donut was so hot and fresh -- crisp on the outside, but incredibly hot and chewy on the inside, with a delicious warm matcha ganache topping. We gobbled it down as fast as we could without burning our mouths.
I will be thinking about this mochi donut experience for a while. I'm not sure if they usually make donuts to order, but if they do, this is absolutely worth a visit. I know they have a location in Boston, and if they also make their donuts to order, I will be wholeheartedly dedicated to them in the future.
My brother confirmed that the donuts taste good when cooled down as well. These donuts were a bit more expensive than I'm used to for mochi donuts, but if they're fresh, it's absolutely worth it.“

“Went here at 6pm today and they still had a large variety of bread with fresh bread coming out of the oven. There’s parking on the side. I’m not sure if they accept cards, the past few years it’s been cash only.Bread is still 75 cents each, got 7 pcs and paid $5.25 in total. The bread & staff hasn’t disappointed me yet, one of the best places to get bread in PVD. The bread is yummy & fresh with friendly staff.“

“Amazing little bakery sitting right in Providence! The pricing on the pastries were amazing! Got some cannoli’s, a cinnamon roll and a bismarck. The bismarck was PHENOMENAL, as the raspberry jam really hit the spot. Also got some bread for the week! Will definitely be revisiting.“

“As a non-coffee drinker, I’m surprised how frequently I come here. However, their cinnamon rolls are AMAZING! I work nearby and will probably gain a few pounds from their great pastries (but it will be worth it). They also have a good juice selection and their staff is super friendly.“

“The only reason I didn't put 5 stars for all categories for this fabulous little bakery is that they have the most amazing chicken salad, that u can get on a sandwich or u can buy it by itself in an 8oz container I think not sure about the size and what not, but they have been out of it for like the last 3 weeks at this point I dont even know if it's coming back but I hope it dose its delicious“

“2⭐ for Longevity & Consistency
Both locations are dangerous especially when there's a line... It can lead to ordering a Chocolate Covered Macaroon when you were dead set on just the Spinach Pie.
They make perfect picture cakes and my Boston family gives a mean side-eye if I show up without the Red Velvet cake.
The service is always friendly and you can watch Smith St traffic while enjoying a peaceful cup of coffee.
Parking: Surprisingly I've never had an issue“

“I bought 2 of their already prepared cakes, they were good and the lady that tended to me was nice and courteous. One of the cakes I especially went for is the tres leches, if you are looking for a wet and juicy 3 leches cakes, it's not here. They don't make it like that. I actually could not see or taste the difference between the normal cake and the tres leches cake I ordered. The frosting was good, it's made of egg white batter which I love. Pricewise great, I paid $ 25.00 for each cake, I had shopped around and people were asking me for $ 70.00 for a small round cake for 10 people which is what I wanted and what I got at Emely's for $ 25.00. Ordering a cake, can't give a review on that.“
