“If you are looking for affordable, tasty food and great portions? This is the spot! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the man behind the counter. I had a lot of questions and he answered them kindly and informed about so many items on the menu. There is an option for everybody! They have a good amount of high chairs where you can sit and eat. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai; it was fresh, hot and had a nice kick to it. For a drink, I ordered the strawberry passion fruit slush with lychee jelly. So good! I cannot wait to return!“

“12/23/25—I decided to start calling around looking for pumpkin pies because my usual bakery has turned pie ordering into something that feels like planning a wedding. I swear you need to place an order six months in advance, sign papers, and maybe an offering of peace !
Anyway, I remembered reading somewhere that the same bakery had a location on Chalkstone Ave, so I called and asked, very cautiously, about pumpkin pie availability.
Them: “Yes, we have some now.”
Me: “Do I need to order ahead of time?”
Them: “No.”

As someone who is always on the move, I don’t always remember to pre-order baked goods half a year in advance. The Cranston location makes getting one pie feel like winning the lottery. So I got in the car, drove over, and secured myself a pumpkin pie like it was treasure.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? We will be happily munching on this excellent pie. And let me just say— I don’t even like pumpkin pie… but I like this one. It’s that good.
I was in and out fast, too. I went early because I can only imagine what the lines will look like on the 24th. I plan ahead sometimes—just not six months ahead.
Anyway, thank you to the wonderful people on Chalkstone Ave. You saved Christmas dessert and my sanity. 🥧✨“

“What a gem! The locals already know this. My son who studies at Brown took us by here on the way out of Providence, and I wanted to just stay and sit in the really beautiful tranquil garden, but we had to hit the road. Lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating. Very european sensibility. Staff is always kind to me and remember things about me. I like that people are regulars. Coffee is pretty good! I don't have the espresso drinks much but they seem nice too. People come in waves so sometimes it's very busy but often it's modestly full with a short (1-2 people) line
It is probably slightly pricer for some things but there are good value items for sure.“

My experience and other family members and friends has always been a positive one, throughout the years; the team is great, and the owner is an absolute angel to work with, she is very accommodating and extremely talented at all she does, it is very sad to see some of these reviews with so much negativity, if you have an issue with any business, the polite thing is to ask to speak to management for a corrected course of action first, instead of trying to damage and taint someone's hard work and dedication.
