The only thing we did relay to the staff ? It is served in a small cast iron pan and I immediately noticed a strong fishy taste in the eggs . Waitress told us they cook the lobster Mac in said pan . This could be a huge problem for the restaurant as some people are allergic to shellfish and could have a bad reaction to the scrambled eggs . We definitely will be back !“

We started with the Truffle fries and the Crispy Duck Meatballs- oh my both were great! The flavor in the Duck meatballs was amazing! The sweet chili glaze just hits it out of the park! On to dinner I ordered the Steak Frites - excellent flavor and cooked perfect! Wife ordered the Chicken Picatta - very tasty with a great lemon flavor! “If you are looking for affordable, tasty food and great portions? This is the spot! I walked in and was immediately greeted by the man behind the counter. I had a lot of questions and he answered them kindly and informed about so many items on the menu. There is an option for everybody! They have a good amount of high chairs where you can sit and eat. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai; it was fresh, hot and had a nice kick to it. For a drink, I ordered the strawberry passion fruit slush with lychee jelly. So good! I cannot wait to return!“

The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“One of my favorite restaurants on “The Hill”. The dining experience at Massimo is always a 5 star experience. Yesterday afternoon we had Janelle as our server and she was superb- it made it a 5 star PLUS visit. Blood orange Cosmos, eggplant appetizer, chicken parm, pistachio cannoli, tiramisu- all excellent. I’m lucky to have Pickerel as a way of keeping me grounded as I navigate these feelings. From the passionate and welcoming staff to the otherworldly flavors, having a perfect time at this eatery is the least difficult decision you’ll ever have to make. Of course the ramen but the wings and the dessert? Two words : “yeah man”“

The food, the wine, the calamari + dip, the bread, the olive oil + balsamic dip were all delicious, but the lobster ravioli and caramel gelato were to die for. Omg! Our server was perfect too. “My first venture to the Capital grille to check out what all the hype was about. Parking could definitely be a little tedious, but there is a parking garage across the street and the valet parking is definitely worth it. Seating being such a nice day could have been outside, but I wanted to see the inside of the place more. Even though it's very busy, we will cheated promptly and attended two right away by the servers assistant. Diana took our order for drinks and appetizers quickly. The Nueske's smoked bacon was wonderfully presented and tasted amazing. I love my bourbon and I decided to have the blackberry bourbon sidecar made with Angel's envy and it was well worth it. For our entrees we had the 10 oz filet mignon and the 22 oz porcini bone-in ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. We decided on the creme brulee cheesecake as a dessert which was soft, creamy and tastefully presented. The atmosphere and service was great and I guess the hype that I was led up to be presented was 100% accurate. Fantastic night out and maybe next time leave outside as long as the day was as beautiful as it was that evening.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Traditional, authentic atmosphere and cuisine. Slow cooked layers of flavor for classics like boeuf bourguignon, duck roasted and confit, brained lamb shank. Traditional apps of escargot and a mushroom soup by the in-house mushroom expert.
The only thing untraditional about this French gem is the service, which is far more friendly than I'm used to in a French establishment, and the size of the portion which is definitely more American than French. Other than that, you will be transported to The French countryside during your meal“

“had a really good first visit. we were craving halal burgers and this delivered. we got the double cheeseburger with halal beef bacon, no ketchup. they need to carry mustard in the store lol but other than that, this was delicious. it takes a little longer because it's made to order but they grill the bread and patty and chop the bacon finely and then add the vegetables. their pickles are really good. we got the pakora fries and they were a nice change from regular fries. the inside was so clean and has single lock restrooms. and the servers were so helpful for a takeout casual spot like this one. on my way back for the golden balance shawarma soon.“

I'm not a fan of drinking establishments that allow children. There were a lot of babies and toddlers in the house with drinking parents. Also toddlers were climbing on furniture unsupervised. If you are planning on an adult experience without kids or babies, this isn't the place.“

“Had lunch there today. Had Mongolian beef, it was really good. The wife got the chicken lettuce wraps and egg drop soup, she really enjoyed them. Kayleigh was a great server, very attentive. Manager stopped by to check on everything, he was very nice. We will be back again“
