“Small space that can feel overwhelming when you walk in but the food is great! The staff is patient and able to answer questions or give recommendations and it's definitely a mom and pop shop. It is cash only so be mindful of that. It is also hard to find parking right outside of the shop so you might have to park a block or so away.

Service might be a little slow because they're not always at the cash register because they're on the back making the food, so please be patient and wait a little bit. Their bahn mi is so good and we always stop by when we come to Rhode Island. The mayo on their bread is unlike any other mayo because it's not heavy and it's deliciously addictive and it's homemade! The bahn mi as a whole is crispy and savory and light and you just keep eating it. I highly recommend!“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. “Went and took Ashley's aunt out for her birthday! I have to say. The food was on point! The customer service was on point! A big shout out to our waitress Meg! The involvement with us. “I've always heard great things about Pasta Beach in Providence. It was my first time going. Pretty cool atmosphere with outdoor seating. The drinks and service were good. They have a pretty good drink menu with plenty to pick from. Their craft beer list lacks. The appetizers were good but the entrees were just average, some people's meals we're below average. We heard they had some turnover in the kitchen so it could have been that. I'll try it again and see how it turns out.“

“Green Wok has been my happy place for over 2 years now! Their teriyaki beef strips are a party in my mouth - the beef is tender and juicy, and the teriyaki glaze is bursting with flavor. I pair it with their vegetable fried rice, which is always soft, fluffy and delicious! The service is friendly and always makes me feel like a valued customer. If you're looking for amazing vegan food that tastes fresh and is made with quality ingredients, then Green Wok is a must-try!“

“Zesty Bites is every bite as good as they say. The quality of the food is amazing. I am Middle Eastern and having a good kabob place around the corner is nothing short of a miracle. The staff at Zesty Bites are warm, kind, and so hard working, and go out of their way to make your experience good. I've ordered the pizza, the rakakat, the zesty bites, hummus bowl, and tawook. Every single thing I've had has been fresh, authentic, and most importantly, DELICIOUS. Zesty Bites outclasses every other restaurant like it by far. You can't go wrong!! “Service and food were good. We did the five course tasting menu. The second course gnocchi dish was too much bacon. The fourth course, meat dish, my dining companion's strip steak was a little overcooked and tough. Mine was not. Service was a little confused with the meat dish being strip and not duck. Ambience is very nice and noise wasn't a factor.“

“Delightful and unique in every way. Delicious food with everything made in house. The most difficult part of the menu is choosing between so many tempting options. We had a steak and a seafood dish and both were phenomenal in quality, flavor and execution. It was a pleasure to eat so well! Delicious soups and pate. Do not skip dessert! I think I dreamt about that crème brûlée. Nicely curated cocktail and wine lists. Top notch service—knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. We felt taken care of by the staff and the engaging owner. The ambiance is an amazing mix of unique style and cozy comfort. We had a romantic dinner but I could imagine having a lovely dinner with friends or family. It's worth the visit just to check out all the historic features of the building and the bevy of original artwork. The sculpture that is their bar and the tin ceiling in the open kitchen were my favorites. We will be back and highly recommend that you follow suit. “Good place. Good atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Interesting take on basic sandwiches. They use pretzels that they bake and make there. These are not pretzel rolls, they are actual pretzels which adds a little fun to the sandwich. Great bill list“

His timing was impeccable start to finish and we were very pleased with how everything turned out. It was a bit loud, but it's understandable as we were next to 2 large tables of 10 and 7 gentleman.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Nick’s last night. Brought my dad there for his birthday on a reservation I had made the night before. We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! “This is a great place to take a foreign friend who wants to try Korean food. The Korean menu seems closer to a fusion restaurant targeting foreign customers rather than a restaurant targeting Koreans or Asians. Since none of the Spicy menu is spicy, I think it would be better for Koreans to just eat the non-spicy menu. For example, a menu item like simple stone pot bibimbap tastes better to my taste than stir-fried pork, which is not spicy at all! The atmosphere is nice and friendly, and the food itself doesn't seem to be bad, but if you go there thinking it's Korean food or home-cooked food, you might be a little disappointed, so keep that in mind!

Overall nice place to try Korean food for foreigners. Not quite authentic but more like toned down Korean food. Spicy menus are not spicy so if you are looking for a spicy food, may not be the right place. If you are not good with spicy food, then this would be a perfect place to try spicy(style) Korean food.

If the owner reads this post, I would like to suggest that there be an option to increase the spiciness level for the occasional customer who wants spicy food! I think just adding a little red pepper powder or a drop or two of capsaicin will make it spicy in no time!“

“Open late and never disappoints! 3 dollar slices on Wednesdays is literally the best deal! Once you have been here dominos just dose NOT cut it anymore! The sheer variety in pizza will have you thinking of how many slices you really can eat! The favorite is the honey mustard chicken pizza! Open till midnight we love to stop in after work. The outdoor seating is nice and iykyk Thayer st is always entertaining!“

“Unassuming ramen joint on Reservoir Ave with the trifecta of delicious food, great service, and amazing value. While their menu highlights their ramen dishes, there are a variety of other options to choose from if you’re looking for something different. The ramen is great though. Good drink and dessert menus are the cherry on top. The fried ice cream exceeded expectations, and I was pretty excited for it!“
