I order from here regularly and the man who answers the phone is always so clear and kind, best customer service and most delicious thai cuisine in Rhode Island! “There are many excellent and good restaurants in Warwick RI. They all have their own way of distinguishing themselves from one another, which is one of the reasons that helps them keep their customers coming back. What does it for me with Cork and Rye is the service is top notch and their food is also excellent. I have a difficult time figuring out what to order because pretty much everything on their menu seems like something I would want to try out. I really don't think you can make a bad selection because the food is excellent and they put their own unique twist to it so ordering meatloaf at Cork and Rye wont be the same as if you ordered meatloaf at one of the other great restaurants in the area. The service from the staff and bar is also excellent!! I would say make a reservation a day or two before you want to go and don't be afraid to sit and eat at the bar. Also, try one of their appetizers while you are there.“

“First time trying the lobster bisque and it was delicious! I’ve had other menu items in the past but the bisque is hands down my favorite! Who says you can’t enjoy seafood in the winter? “Since 1989, Keith and his crew at Han Palace have been serving high quality Cantonese, Szechuan and Hunan cuisine on West Shore Road in Warwick. Han Palace is one of those places that you bring the family to every week, and they too have a die hard following in the community.

And for good reason! You can find Keith there every day, always on the move. When I went, he was the one who took us to our table. I couldn't help by admire the art etched into the glass dividers in the restaurant, and the high backs to the booths allow you an intimate experience with your dining companion/s. While he was camera shy and didn't want to be in a photo (which I can respect) he was more than eager to share his thoughts on his crab rangoon!

I mentioned he has quite the fan base for the appetizer and he shared with me that he workshopped his recipe for a bit before settling on what he serves today. For him, he doesn't like a strong fishy taste. Keith also freely shared his secret touches, white pepper and scallions. A note I will remember next time I make my own.

When asked for a staff recommendation for what to have with our rangoon, the server suggested the General Tso's Chicken, one of their most popular dishes.

Before long the food arrived and I was excited to see what the hype was all about. On first bite, what you immediately notice is these are GENEROUS on the filling. If you like a fat rangoon, this is going to be right up your alley. The taste is cream cheese forward, with the kani and scallions supporting characters to bring it all together. A small warning, be careful how you bite into these, the filling can squirt out!!

Normally, I am the type to roll my eyes at ordering General Tso at a Chinese restaurant. It's like the Chicken Tikka Masala of Chinese food. However! I see why this is popular. The chicken was fresh, the slightly crispy texture holding up in the sauce. The sauce was tangy, just the right amount to evenly coat the chicken with some extra for the rice and a level of heat between mild and medium. The rice was a savory hearty base for the chicken.

My quest for the best crab rangoon in Rhode Island brings me to the best places. I'm glad to have discovered this community icon, and look forward to my next visit!“

“Drive past this Pizza institution all the time. Decided to order and have it delivered. Ordered a large pie with onions, broccoli and pepperoni with a side of B-B-Q wings. It was all FANTASTIC!! Kids loved the wings, meaty and saucy. I loved the thick crust pizza, crispy and not tough. Hard part was divvying up 8 slices for 3 people... Hey Pete, can you cut 9 slices next time??? LOL All in all, it was a great dinner solution!!“

“This was my first time eating here. Let me start off by saying I had the best scrod I have ever ordered in a restaurant. When the waitress came to take our order I decided on a grilled chicken sandwich. I did not want the fries so I asked to sub a side salad (which I normally do at any place where I order a sandwich, usually a up charge) she said we don't do that but you can have a potato and vegetable. Who would want that with a sandwich! I declined and ordered the scrod. She then asked what kind of soup I wanted (apparently comes with the meal) or you can have a salad. I can sub a salad instead of soup but not for the fries. ODD! The bill comes and I was charged for a side salad. This waitress never said there was a upcharge, which i found odd. I would have paid it anyway. To bad they don't offer something healthier than fries with their sandwiches. This would not be a place I would rush back to.“

“Family run atmosphere with the best service I have experienced in a long time. The restaurant gives off “your mommas home kitchen” vibe with the friendliest, kindest, and caring staff. Our server stayed and talked with us about life and my wife and I (From Florida) felt right at home. The food was amazing! Scrambled eggs were super creamy (I had cheese mixed in with mine), pancakes were cooked to perfection, my wife’s French toast was amazing! The star of the show was the homemade corn beef hash, this is my opinion, is a must try! Will definitely come back every time we are in town! Very good wings.... I like mine very spicy -- the 'Butt Burner' wing sauce has (I believe) some ghost pepper in it.... it is very spicy.... be warned.

I like the sweep potato fries, go well with the wings.

Pizza is ok, I prefer a NY style thin crust... which this is not.

Overall, a good place to grab a bite and a beer.“

“When its good, none can compare. Literally been going here since day one and have witnessed its evolution from small and quaint to large and modern. Always have a great experience sitting at the bar...food is always on point, hot, fesh. Take out has been hit or miss and they do not pay attention to any adjustments like extra sauce...you have to be emphatic. I've had some wonky chicken here...don't know what it is but sometimes the texture is off...same with beef. Its hard to explain. Great chicken basil, Generals chicken, specify white meat, crispy pork, dumplings, tempura. I really like the establishment, and Jackie, the bartender is truly amazing, (she comes from a family of restrauntaurs). It can range from a 3-5 star experience.“

“This place used to be really good when they first opened. After COVID came around, things declined rapidly as everything else did. They are steadily get better with their taste and flavors. However, cleanliness is lacking since the renovations they've made. Layers of dust cling to the ceiling fan and the vinyl flags hanging above the entire restaurant. Would definitely be 4.5 stars if time and care was taken into some general / food safe dusting.“
