The host working around 9pm was not welcoming or friendly, and also sat us at the smallest table in the restaurant. Bethany offered us a larger table, and was always checking in on us. “We are sorry it took us so long to discover The Square Peg. Cozy, old colonial vibe, delicious fall sangria and scrumptious comfort food. Our first visit was a perfect complement to our day visiting farm stands and enjoying a beautiful October Saturday. A bonus is that the location could rival Salem in October minus the crowds. Just perfect. We loved the chili with sour cream, cheese and onions on top, the patty melt and the ahi tuna tacos. All were delicious and reasonably priced. We look forward to visiting many times.“

“It's a good place to watch the game! They do have good bands, loved heavy rescue and what matters. Fun going when bands are there it's fun but it's a small dance floor and people bring drinks on the floor spilling them and show off swinging around instead of dancing in place. So dancers be ware!
Food is good and the pizza would be excellent except they don't take the time to equally distribute sauce and toppings so half our pizza was naked with just a light brushing of sauce. Fix this issue and the pizza is definitely worth trying!“
