“TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. “The food was good. Drinks good but a little pricey. We did not have a reservation so we sat upstairs at the bar, which was ok. Beautiful atmosphere! Modern and updated. There was only one bartender for several guests so the service was slow, not the bartenders fault. I could see ourselves coming back and trying it with a reservation.“

“Just came from Palmer River Grille, it's very nice inside and the food was excellent. My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. Our waiter Derek was awesome! Just want to acknowledge everyone there, the wait staff etc. are very friendly, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. I would recommend them to anyone and for sure we will be back. Thank you!“

“The food was absolutely phenomenal! However, I was there for a large party this afternoon, we rented the back room. And the manager scolded us for being out on the deck because “it was a place for dinning and not for us to hangout”. we were out there trying to enjoy the view, which I feel like is a big hit for this restaurant. Mind you there were no guests seated outside anywhere close to where we were standing and we most definitely wouldn’t have been out there standing in between any tables if people were sitting out there that’s simple common courtesy. Either way she was very rude about it instead of just stating that she’d prefer for us to be inside. I might go back because the food was so good but my only hesitation is to give someone any business who is rude to guests. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I don’t think I would have ever enjoyed working for someone who talks to guests the way she spoke to us!“

“Wow ! Just Wow! Bursts of flavor on point every time! My husband is the burger guy , he loves it! My palate goes a little deeper ...... Last night I had one of my favorite small hot plates ; mussels topped with fries . The cream sauce is delicious and compliments the mussels so well. I usually stick with fish throughout but tonight I had the Butternut squash and goat cheese flatbread . The combination juts fits with soft center and crispy edges. I honestly could have eaten more apps and dinner because I could anticipate the flavors of each dish. in the past I've tried the duck , pork, shortribs ,pasta and many hot and cold apps. The presentatation is always eye pleasing . The combination of flavors are always on point. Love it there! I highly recommend Rivival Craft Kitchen and Bar. “My dad and I went to Jack’s Family Restaurant this weekend. My dad and I live in Pennsylvania, but with recent family events we’ve found ourselves in Rhode Island a few times within the last month. My dad said Jack’s looked “the same as it always did,” and he smiled the entire time. We ordered the little necks casino, clam cakes, clam chowder, and seafood zuppa (and we splurged and got the lobster). Everything was great! We thank the staff and chefs for a wonderful experience. Everyone was kind. The food was delicious, and quickly delivered to us to be devoured. We had a wonderful experience & will definitely be back. ❤️☺️“

I called to voice a concern about a negligent situation regarding a customer and their animal while this person was dining in, and I was later called back by the girl that answers their phone, harassing me and arguing with me asking why I called and posted about it publicly. Want to gain an honorable reputation? Try treating your customers kindly and apologize when they are dissatisfied with something happening at your establishment, instead of attacking them.“

“Typical tavern style restaurant. Lots of bar and high top seating. Menu was basic American fare and tasty. Service was friendly but a little slow. Place was empty so I think that the one person they had on (working as bartender and waiter) was too busy.“
