“We are sorry it took us so long to discover The Square Peg. Cozy, old colonial vibe, delicious fall sangria and scrumptious comfort food. Our first visit was a perfect complement to our day visiting farm stands and enjoying a beautiful October Saturday. A bonus is that the location could rival Salem in October minus the crowds. Just perfect. We loved the chili with sour cream, cheese and onions on top, the patty melt and the ahi tuna tacos. All were delicious and reasonably priced. We look forward to visiting many times.“

“I wanted to come back and leave a review for this unique and cozy restaurant. Me and my husband dropped in and honestly had one of the best dinners we've ever had. The vibe of this restaurant in general is great. It's quiet, cozy dimly lit Aunt. I couldn't stop staring and everything. The food was amazing and tasty. I had the Mozambique mac and cheese which was suggested by our lovely pleasant waitress. It was so tasty, one of the better dishes I've had in years. The chicken wings, are the best chicken wings I've ever had. They were the Sriracha honey wings, crispy and incredibly juicy and tender. We also had the deconstructed s'mores dessert which was so good and I'm not a huge dessert person and even I was amazed by this. We would definitely come back again and I highly recommend you come here for dinner.“

“Just came from Palmer River Grille, it's very nice inside and the food was excellent. My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. Our waiter Derek was awesome! Just want to acknowledge everyone there, the wait staff etc. are very friendly, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and their food. I would recommend them to anyone and for sure we will be back. Thank you!“

“TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. “This is a grown up restaurant, the flavor is center stage and worth the price of admission. I tried things I went "I won't like that" and my mind was blown because I did like that. Best bread and butter I've ever had hands down. The duck breast was literally the best thing I've ever eaten in my life.This place has me considering staying single just so I can eat here more. And honestly, I only came here with my sister because she said this is the best restaurant. I can't translate the menu, but after this visit, the next time I come I'm just going to say to the waiter "I'm planning on spending this much, the chef already knows they know what they're doing". “I recommend everything about this place - phenomenal restaurant. Service was top notch. Oysters were perfect and lobster rolls were huge - they say 8 ounces of lobster - had to be closer to 1 lb. On a Friday, got there at 8:30 PM (after the dinner rush) and had no wait for a table. Pretty much a perfect dining experience.“

“Really good Lobster Bisque soap purchased from a local supermarket here in NE PA. Backstory. I attended Endicott College back in the day and remembered sitting on rocks in Rockport with bunch of friends, enjoying the fresh, local seafood. 🍤 I recently noticed this brand while shopping and although pricey, I decided to try it for lunch today. The boil bag was easy peasy, enough for two bowls and like I mentioned to poster below, I purchased some RANA lobster ravioli that were void of any indication of lobster, although it was listed as second ingredient on packaging. I combined the two. What a delight with great flavor, thick broth and satisfying product. It’s what I purchased when your New England establishment is a distance away. It’s next best thing! 😋🦞“

“Haven't been in a few years and my son wanted something different for dinner. We landed on Hometown as it's right near our house. We got a few items as we wanted to give it all a try (again it's been a few years since we'd been in). The appetizers were all decent enough - Portuguese calamari, pretzels with beer cheese and the honey butter biscuit shrimp (these looked the most boring - and were hands down our favorite). For meals, we got the chorizo and pepper grinder, pulled pork nachos and the shrimp mozambique. Mostly all were decent enough. Nothing special - but good and filled us up for sure. My only issue was the mozambique. It was all vinegar. Not something I was used to in a mozambique at all. When it got to the table it smelled like any other I've had. But when I went to eat the sauce and rice, it was pungent. I like vinegar - so I powered through. But it was tough even for me, so be warned! I did ask the waitress if it was normal (I assumed they maybe had mistakenly added vinegar in place of another ingredient). She said that it was very dependant on chef in the kitchen as they can be very heavy handed depending on who it is. I do want to say that our waitress was great. Everyone working was extremely hospitable. And the overall experience was fine. It just threw me off by the extreme flavor of the one dish, as I've never come across one like it in the past. For 24$ I just want to give a heads up to someone else who may want to try that dish when they're there.“

“Their FOH staff are completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I called to voice a concern about a negligent situation regarding a customer and their animal while this person was dining in, and I was later called back by the girl that answers their phone, harassing me and arguing with me asking why I called and posted about it publicly. Want to gain an honorable reputation? Try treating your customers kindly and apologize when they are dissatisfied with something happening at your establishment, instead of attacking them.“
