“My husband and I were visiting Providence for a wedding and stayed at the Hampton across the street. This place caught our eye, and we are so thankful it did. Not only did we come here for lunch, where I got fettuccine with marinara and my husband got a Philly Cheesesteak, we ordered 2 pizzas later that night when our friends showed up because we loved them so much. The in-person service was immaculate, and the takeout service was amazing. Super polite employees and a great atmosphere. I'm almost sad I don't live in Providence because I can't eat here more often.“

My wife had a small issue with her meal (no need for details), the managers took care of it no problem, which they don't have to do, so I want to take this opportunity to thank them. The only thing was when it costs $13 for a glass of wine, I'd like a good pour. The pours were a bit small. Service was excellent. Pricey but expected this, would definitely go back.“

“Cons: service was kind of mid and lacking in certain areas. Never got utensils nor the cloth, nor napkins. Had to get napkins ourselves and ask for a refill when the glass was empty for a while. Server seemed kind of in lala land and in need of more training / customer service skills. the entire restaurant itself is pretty small. Long wait times since they are so popular but not enough space inside to meet the high demands.

Pros: FOOD WAS ABSOLUTE FIRE ? ? best chicken wings I've ever had anywhere, everything ordered was delicious and temperature hot and cooked so perfectly. Assuming owner or chef who brought out the food was very friendly. They finally nailed down bringing authentic southern food to rhody that was absolutely delicious!!

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“We went for dinner for a weeknight in early September. Reservations were available on short notice and missed the college parent crowds. First time here after hearing about it for a number of years.

We shared a couple of appetizers and really enjoyed the cheese/charcuterie board and calamari. Calamari was crispy and sauces were delicate. Cheese board was also delicious and we liked that we could mix and match. Not many places offer pate, so we enjoyed having that as an option.

The gnudi dish was the best of the evening. They’re something between a small dumpling and gnocchi, and were so incredibly tender! Sauce was very delicious and we highly recommend trying this dish.

Entrees were okay, but not amazing. They’re known for their burger but I found it lackluster. Saddest part was the French fries were soft and tasteless. Burger meat was drier than it should be; likely too much fat rendered off during cooking. Bun had no integrity and didn’t hold up to the burger.

Pork loin was good, but serving size was extremely small for an entree. There were only 3 slices of pork on the dish.

Desserts were simple and well-executed, but not a highlight.

Atmosphere can be very nice if not too loud. Great place for a date, grabbing light fare, or having a drink at the bar.“

“Had my first visit to Patti's Pierogies today and it was worth the trip! So many pierogies to choose from I had to get a sampler. They were all delicious, the cheeseburger pierogie was my favorite. Waitress was so friendly and got to meet Patti. Good food and atmosphere.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Nick’s last night. Brought my dad there for his birthday on a reservation I had made the night before. We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! The food was amazing as usual (I love nicks!) and when asked, our server knew where all the ingredients came from (almost all local!) and even turned me on to a new delicious tequila (also from a local family!). “TRAFFORDS TESTIMONIAL Perhaps once in a lifetime you find someplace really special for you and your spouse. Seven years ago we went to Trafford’s for the first time. What we remember about it was how it made us feel. Both of us work hard in our professions and to go out to dinner and find wonderful food, excellent and attentive wait staff, and relaxed environment simply made our day. We then came every month at least once mostly twice to enjoy the excellence and serenity at Trafford. Sadly we lost this when the fire occurred for several years. Then absolute joy when Trafford’s reopened and we found the same wonderful food, wonderful staff in a simply beautiful rebuilt building. The joy we felt and the absolute calm and serenity is all back for us. Recently we celebrated my 76th birthday at Trafford with my entire family. It was amazingly special for me and we had our special event upstairs with the entire place devoted to us . Chrissy our server did an awe inspiring service for us making it perhaps one of the most special birthdays I have ever had I have attached a picture of this special moment. I work in the computer software business doing quality assurance 10 hours every day. Being able to calm down and relax completely at Trafford’s is simply a joy for us. Almost seemed like they were using the pickled banana peppers as the base. Tie that with cilantro and a few other items and you have a real winner here.The sauce on the Shrimp had a similar flare to it, but tomato based (or just mixed in).So think about this a minute. You have a sauce with some pickle flavor. You add salt to your liking (I added a lot) and you have a very interesting flavor for the fries! Genius!The Chicken Dinner was an outside the box way for me to go surf and turf. The seasoning had explosive flavor. Just wonderful!I can't wait to go back for the Salmon!“

“Dined here last night before PPAC, for that reason we made an early dinner reservation. I confirmed when calling they had valet parking. We arrived to find no valet attendant. After some back and forth with hostess and manager my husband was finally able to come inside for dinner, nearly 30 mins wasted. Our server AJ provided exemplarry service; she was personable and knew the menu like the back of her hand. We appreciated her service, and our dinners were all very good. As we departed we confirmed with the tardy valet attendant if we could leave the car and pick up after the show as we do with neighboring establishments and he said no because they would be closed by the time the show was over; this couldn’t have been further from the truth. The valet was rude, late, and it’s terribly unfortunate that the valet ruined what could have been a great dinner with friends.“

We elected to order several appetizers after devouring the warm, crusty mini French bread served in individual paper bags—so French. He said he would take care of both the timing and sequencing of the plates, and that he did!! Each time a new pair of appetizers came out, he would change out plates and utensils. Amazing attention to detail and our dining nuances. Now for the food-calamari tender and light with a perfect sauce to go with them. Lobster tempura to die for-a definite must!! Crab Rangoon perfection-a creamy blend of cream cheese and spices. The Scotch egg was a savory treat that you simply cannot find in many restaurants-excellent! And the last appetizer was their lamb chops-tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. For desert we asked our waiter for his recommendation-a tart with blueberry basil ice cream and streusel crumb toping was agreed upon. Simply divine. In conclusion, if you want to dine at a restaurant that has phenomenal service and exceptional food, this is the place to go to⭐️“

“This a lovely spot. Beautiful decor inside, very cozy. The food is good, priced appropriately. Service was excellent the day I was there. My only complaint was the restaurant smelled like diarrhea and air freshener trying to cover it up on the Sunday I was there. Better ventilation, please! If it wasn't for this snag it would have been a very delightful experience“
