“Excellent menu and impeccable service.“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

Not huge portions so if you're looking for leftovers this won't be the place for you. They give you just enough. It's pricey for what you get but worth it. “I had a wonderful experience at Nick’s last night. Brought my dad there for his birthday on a reservation I had made the night before. We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! The food was amazing as usual (I love nicks!) and when asked, our server knew where all the ingredients came from (almost all local!) and even turned me on to a new delicious tequila (also from a local family!). “Cozy little bar with a small bit varied menu and a good drink menu. I've had the chicken tacos and bibimbap so far, we've been twice. It's really small but there are a few tables on the sidewalk and both times we've been able to get a seat.“

“Tonight we dined at Res American Bistro. From the moment we walked in to the time we left, we could not have been treated any better. The hostess after asking a couple of questions and getting a sense of what type of dining experience we were looking for, asked us to follow her up to the second floor and there it was—the most perfect seat in the restaurant. A corner couch seat overlooking the city❤️. Our waiter, Logan, was beyond excellent. Knowledgeable about the menu-both food and drink. Attentive but not obnoxious. We elected to order several appetizers after devouring the warm, crusty mini French bread served in individual paper bags—so French. He said he would take care of both the timing and sequencing of the plates, and that he did!! Each time a new pair of appetizers came out, he would change out plates and utensils. Amazing attention to detail and our dining nuances. Now for the food-calamari tender and light with a perfect sauce to go with them. Lobster tempura to die for-a definite must!! Crab Rangoon perfection-a creamy blend of cream cheese and spices. The Scotch egg was a savory treat that you simply cannot find in many restaurants-excellent! And the last appetizer was their lamb chops-tender, juicy and grilled to perfection. For desert we asked our waiter for his recommendation-a tart with blueberry basil ice cream and streusel crumb toping was agreed upon. Simply divine. In conclusion, if you want to dine at a restaurant that has phenomenal service and exceptional food, this is the place to go to⭐️“

“We had an amazing time celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday. Our server Steven was very attentive as well as serenaded my wife with the most beautiful rendition of Happy Birthday. The dinner music was lovely, the singer had a fantastic voice as well. “Sara Smile” by Hall & Oates is my wife’s favorite and he sang it to the T!! Don’t get me started on that Banana Cream Pie, by far the best I’ve ever had!!! We will definitely be back!“

“Service and food were good. We did the five course tasting menu. The second course gnocchi dish was too much bacon. The fourth course, meat dish, my dining companion's strip steak was a little overcooked and tough. Mine was not. Service was a little confused with the meat dish being strip and not duck. Ambience is very nice and noise wasn't a factor.“

“Had brunch at Fleur this morning, which is located on the second floor of the Omni Hotel. We thought both the food and service were outstanding. The menu was great and the restaurant is absolutely georgous. We would highly recommend this place!“

“Atmosphere was great. Waitstaff was pleasant but forgot to put in the rest of our order. She did however put two glasses of wine on her. Calamari was delicious but lacked on the amount of peppers and the portion was very small. Brussel sprouts were delicious and was a very large portion. Margarita pizza was delicious.“

“Only had breakfast early on Sunday morning, so I can't speak to the atmosphere at any other time. It was quiet and well lit. The menu was decent but a bit pricey. I got the Bagelwich with ham (pictured). The sandwich itself was quite simple so I was concerned about the $12 price tag. It was a huge sandwich with multiple thick pieces of ham in it. It came with 3 hashbrowns (like what McDonald's serves), they were fine. Also a small few pieces of fruit were included. Overall, the value of the sandwich was worth the price.I looked around the rest of their menu and nothing particularly unique or special jumped out at me. I didn't realize the sandwich would be made with hamsteak cause that wasn't listed on the menu (it was a pleasant surprise). My advice to management, if your food items have something unique about them, highlight that on the menu otherwise no one is going to know what makes your restaurant special.Servers were friendly. I'm perplexed at a situation that occurred though. My partner ordered a scrambled egg a la carte and it took significantly longer than my sandwich (which was made with scrambled eggs). They wait staff continually apologized for the delay and ultimately ended up taking it off the bill, but I don't understand how two orders for the same table using the exact same ingredient ended up coming out of the kitchen so far apart.“

“Some of the best food I’ve ever had was at this establishment. I had the chicken parmesan and the portion was very generous and it was perfect tasting! The drinks were also fantastic and the service was great. Being from out of state, this was a great introduction to what Providence has to offer. “I love Wayback we came all the way from Toronto, Canada and Wayback beats all burgers in Canada it is the best. The owner is awesome and even offered us free things as we are tourists he is very kind. We ordered two classic and a chili cheese fries they were amazing so juicy. Most flavorful burgers ever“
