“A little bit of Nashville away from Nashville! My family and I came here for lunch for Providence Restaurant Week and we loved it! The food was served right away, was cooked well and the flavor was delicious! The drinks were also so good. The live music is an added bonus. We will be back and definitely recommend it!“

“Location/decor/ambiance: the owners have tried to turn the spacious brick and beam interior of a former factory building into a ghetto-ish inner cityscape skateboard park using graffiti-style airbrush graphics, little skateboards that serve as bar chair seat backs, concrete floors painted with Providence manhole covers, etc. Visually, the effect is mixed. I “get” what the owners are trying for, but it isn’t for me an “attractive” dining decor. It looks much more like a dance club for young twenty-somethings. I quickly adjusted to the inner-city grunge decor, but what we couldn’t adjust to was the VERY loud rap/hip-hop music blaring out of some very robust speakers non-stop. Talking was difficult. Yes, I’m an older person, but I don’t begrudge anyone their musical sensibilities… provide its not full of “***** and “nigga” and roaring out at at least 90 decibels. Whatever they’re trying to be, they need to remember that they are l (at 10 am) a restaurant, not a dance club. Food & service: unexpectedly, given the above criticism, the food was outstanding, I mean really good. Caught us off guard. Just beautifully imagined and realized. Would I return? Probably not. Even the great food cant quite overcome the soundscape. Interesting place, though“

“Great place to hang. Owners are amazing and the staff are some of the best in the business! Great selection of beers and spirits, free pinball and spectacular decor if you’re a horror fan. Where else can you go and see a picture of an autographed foot?“
“Wonderful curated bookstore! Not only do they have adult books, they have great children books and greeting cards. The owners Alexa and Emory are the nicest pair and make the store so welcoming. I also love that you can order any book online through them. Definitely check it out!“

“How do they only rate 3.9? Consistently delivers the best music in RI.“
“I went here around midnight on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but not slammed. I think the cover was $12 and they accept cash and card. The wait wasn't very long. I was most excited for DDR, which I played a lot as a teen. Lots of fun arcade games with cup holders and you can play any. The 12 dollar charge covers the games. I just had a Truly when I went so I can't really speak to how their cocktails are but those bartenders looked pretty busy.“

“Good place. Good atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Interesting take on basic sandwiches. They use pretzels that they bake and make there. These are not pretzel rolls, they are actual pretzels which adds a little fun to the sandwich. Great bill list“

“What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.“
“The Scurvy Dog is the hidden jewel of Providence, as far as bars go. Not only do they play the best music but the vibe and people there are the best! The staff is great and the new food service (Rebel Rations) is fantastic! It’s truly one of the last places where the punk and hardcore community can gather.“

“My daughter and I have been wanting to go here since the start of the pandemic! Finally made it. It is the cutest bar. Small inside but heated patio outside. We went when they first opened on NYE. The most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered. The cocktails were delicious. Definitely going back in the warmer weather •“
“One of the oldest pubs in the United States, just not the same name lol. The Son's of Liberty drank here! They still serve Half-Yards! A beer drinkers Mecca they have dozens of bottles and draft options. Priced right. One caveat, they haven't painted since the Son's drank there so keep a sense of humor. Great place for some suds. I've been a customer for over thirty years.
Dietary restrictions: As long as it's beer or whiskey you are good!
Kid-friendliness: Not!“
“The Stable has changed for the better in the past few years, it feels like a more inclusive space for everyone. The bartenders are very responsive and make excellent drinks. The price for cocktails is excellent compared to other bars. This is the perfect pregame spot before making your way to other bars and clubs. Or if you like a relatively calmer place to meet new people, it’s also great for that too. There’s a outdoor patio area in the back. There’s a small stage/DJ booth for the various shows that occur throughout the week.“

“Perfect neighborhood bar! The bartenders love their job and you can tell by their friendly attitudes. The new cook knows what he is doing on the grill. Did i mention $10 pitchers of Blue Moon and $11 pitchers of Stella Artois? #YoureWelcome“
“Cool little venue in Providence. Acoustics are nothing to write home about, but a nice spot to catch a show. Bartenders were great, bathroom was in pretty good shape for a concert venue, but the floor really needs to be addressed. The floor wasn't just sticky, it was borderline adhesive. You could actually hear what sounded like ripping duct tape when people walked. It felt like walking around on fly paper.“

“I got outrageously hammered here and miscalculated my tab when it was time to sign it and ended up tipping them in almost 100%, which would have been way too much even tho they're good folks. luckily they were kind enough to notice and not debit all that money from my card so 5/5 will come again“
“A cool little cocktail bar in an old residence on Federal Hill. It’s right in Luongo Square, a beautiful intersection with a cobblestone street and fountain out front. Very Providence. While most people are gonna come for the cocktails, they also have a decent beer and wine selection. The prices are surprisingly affordable, and the service was quick and friendly. There’s seating inside and out, although if the benches outside fill up the little red chairs/tables are not the most comfortable. The inside is also a bit excessively dark, but all in all a good spot for a drink, especially if you’re feeling classy.“

“I make a point of seeking out speakeasies when I travel and can say that 345 has one of the most creative entrances I've been pleasantly stumped by. The search is well worth it. Cocktails are elevated and well crafted. Food is fresh and delicious. (My bartender was very kind and proactive to ask if I had any dietary restrictions to notify the kitchen about which I felt was very considerate.) The staff are so friendly and accommodating - even when I observed they were very busy and understaffed - and are there to ensure that you feel welcome and absolutely love your experience. The atmosphere is classy and intimate - there are lots of nooks for a small group of friends or a date night. I can't wait to visit again the next time I'm in Providence.
Vegetarian options: The bartender was very proactive and asked if there were any dietary restrictions to tell the kitchen about, which really impressed me and I felt was very thoughtful.“
“I recently visited Providence for the first time in 6 years, and one of the things I was looking most forward to going here again. And in all that time passed, it did not change or disappoint. Cheap, great beer selection, and good cocktails to boot. Pool, darts, board games should you want.“

“Came here for RI Food Fights Burger Month ?. I knew coming in I would enjoy this burger as I was a big fan of BunFun in RI, which was co-owned by one of their chefs here. An excellent smash patty with melty American cheese. Next time I'd ask to make it a double though as the meat patties are thin. Excellent flavor and a super cool place to have some grub and watch a game. Big tvs everywhere and a huge bar. Plenty of comfy seats too. Sport and Leisure is a perfect name ?“

“I just wanted to drop a 5-star review and give a shoutout to Dallas for making us feel so welcome this evening. I called ahead to inquire about mocktails, and was told they could definitely accommodate that request. My coworker and I showed up, neither of us drink, and Dallas made us both amazing mocktails. I often feel like the bartenders in most places are annoyed when you don’t drink alcohol but I really did feel welcome and included and was very grateful. The drinks were great, and I will definitely be back, alcohol or no alcohol. You guys are great! Thanks so much.“
