“Could have better clientele but decent service and teas and prices and Sally is awesome.Parking: If they're over pack you can park in the lot next door behind D'Angelo'sWheelchair accessibility: Yes you can enter with wheelchair“
“Great place to hang out great people great owners the only problem with the place is this 1 bartender you spend more time looking at phone and being mean to the customers she knows who she is other than that if you go there when she is in 10 the bar good place to go“
“Stopped in to check this place out, & decided to stay for a quick bite - ordered the eggplant fries (these are the 'steak fries' of the eggplant world) Delicious & the marinara was just right. Hence the 5☆ for food on this visit, wife & I WILL return soon for a full meal!“
“Had lunch with my grandma today. Our waitress, Tayla, was phenomenal. She was quick and efficient and had a great personality. Now, I didn't get a meal per se, I got a few appetizers. Fries were good, crisp and hot. Baked potatoes were obviously frozen and I'd give them a 6 out of 10, and I had the mozzarella sticks which weren't the best. Sooooo much breading on it. My grandmother had baked stuffed shrimp and grapenut pudding for dessert and LOVED it. Overall, food was decent and I'd be back again! The only true complaint I have is I ordered antipasto for take home. It isn't your traditional antipasto and was disappointed when I received it.“
“For the only real restaurant in the airport, my expectations were low. Not only was my drink stuff but the food was delicious. The stuffies were far better than expected and the chowder was delicious. The staff was working hard but clearly short handed. If you have the time, give them a chance.“
“The shaved steak sandwich was great. Asked for Chrissy fries and they were crispy and delicious. Lettuce wraps were excellent and different in that the sauce was not the typical Asian sauce. Wait staff was attentive and we enjoyed a great meal.“
“The food here is absolutely amazing. They're pizza is one of the best I have ever tasted. It is fresh and tastes splendid. The staff here is very friendly and do such an amazing job. It also has a great atmosphere if you plan on dining in.“
“I was impressed by service of this restaurant, we were sitting on the bar and Harold was so attentive and helpful, the food was so good, wine and the cocktail “purple rain” was my favorite, I definitely recommend to visit this amazing place “
“Fantastic bar on the west side of Providence, walkable from Downtown, Federal Hill, and the West End. My favorite part of their drink menu is their cocktails, but they have a great beer selection and decent wine selection as well. Prices are very affordable, and the service has always been great. Most times I’ve gone it’s been a chill spot, not too crowded with good music. This past weekend I went and it was packed. We figured we came during an event, and turns out it was Kimi’s birthday! Even got a slice of birthday cake on the house, and had a great time even though we felt a bit like party crashers. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly, though, and I’m looking forward to coming back again!“
“My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Troop host our wedding in November and it was the best time! Every one of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Adam and Nikki helped me from the beginning to capture my vision of my perfect wedding day. The staff was on point and the food...A-MAZING! No stuffy country club blah food here! And we had bartenders that rocked!! Never waited for a drink. As the bride...I have to give Nikki a special shout out, she was right there to make sure my husband and I ate and were taken care of. The best was when I was getting into the limo to leave and she handed me a take out bag with pieces of my wedding cake and Troop's delicious chocolate chip cookies. If you haven't had one then your missing out. My guests all left with one to take home. I highly recommend Troop to host your next party. Enjoy!“
“Amazing people! Great Food! I would personally recommend the Empanadas, Burger & wings anytime you visit. Grab a Green Tea shot & thank me later! Game night, fight night, or just an evening dedicated to enjoying good company PUB 594 is a great find in the city.“
“Wonderful curated bookstore! Not only do they have adult books, they have great children books and greeting cards. The owners Alexa and Emory are the nicest pair and make the store so welcoming. I also love that you can order any book online through them. Definitely check it out!“
“Their stuffed pretzels are out of the world!! The beer is amazing, banana pudding beer is a must try!! Their apricot butter dipping creates heaven in our mouth!! Highly recommend going there for a bite of their delicious pretzels and dips!!“
“I've been here approximately a dozen times and feel I can say an honest review on this place. First thing people pick up on with any bar/tavern is the atmosphere. Usually on a weekend night it's pretty loud with locals watching sports and yelling at the TV and loud music playing as well. If you're in your 40s and haven't turned in your fun pants yet then you'll fit right in. You'll be with familiar tunes blasting from Guns n Roses to modern country and sprinkled with 70s rock, 90s grunge etc it's a very cool mix of music they play in which makes me enjoy coming here. Secondly, is the service and staff. Bartenders are very friendly and actually know how to tend bar. They are always smiling, joking or engaging with customers. What is really impressive is that they know how to make a GOOD sangria without a mix. Lastly, the food. As mentioned this is a bar so they don't have an extensive menu. However, the burgers are very good!! Also, you gotta have a pudding shot in which the owner's wife makes herself.“
“Fabulously located on the river with great outdoor seating, very bike friendly and a great spot for a date!! We tried Besina, the Mexican concept for lunch one day and the Italian concept, Double Zero, for dinner another night. Both had inventive, well executed menus though not a total knockout from either. Would come back to try more from both of these spots, as well as the other businesses in the market hall. Double Zero: We loved the deconstructed raw lasagne - I cannot emphasize how cool this dish is - cultured cashew ricotta, dollops of tomato sauce and pesto, and thinly sliced ribbons of raw zucchini. It's phenomenal and I want to make it at home. Not as great - the chili pizza. It doesn't have enough toppings and was just an oily sheet of dry dough with globs of the same cashew ricotta. Besina: We were pleased to be introduced to Tlayuda, a thin Oaxacan flat bread that they top with jackfruit, loads of cultured cashew crema, herbs, and avocado. My partner was crazy about it but i'm generally not totally convinced by the sweetness of jackfruit and it was a little too wet for my taste. Not as great - the Tacos Dorados. Fried oyster mushrooms were heavy and dense and served with an aioli which contributed to the heavy flavors. Could be remedied with a lighter batter on the mushrooms and more of a salad/pickled veg component and it would be delicious. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-04“
“Perhaps one of The Point Tavern's most enchanting features is its private patio. This hidden gem offers an intimate setting for dining, drinking, and socializing. Surrounded by tasteful greenery and ambient lighting. Each dish, from appetizers to entrees, is prepared with an attention to detail, combining classic comfort food with innovative twists.“
“Great place to hang. Owners are amazing and the staff are some of the best in the business! Great selection of beers and spirits, free pinball and spectacular decor if you’re a horror fan. Where else can you go and see a picture of an autographed foot?“
“Quite the hidden gem. I stumbled upon this as a choice coming in from out of town and considered it an option if we had nothing else to do. We had some time, so wandered over to this very unassuming to the point of worrisome place. However, super worth it. I've been to barcades before but haven't been to one that charges a general admission ($7 pp) for unlimited games which is (pun intended) a game changer. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The gaming options felt like I was preparing for Ready Player One, with extensive options. Most games were functional (RIP left guitar of Guitar Hero) and it was awesome to be able to win skeeball and air hockey over and over again and continue my mission on various games without having to pay for more time. Wish I had more time to spend here!“
“My new favorite bar! There are places that are just aesthetic and places that are just vibey and this place has all the vibes and is aesthetically pleasing in spades. The staff were warm and welcoming, the drinks were delicious (great NA mocktails) and the music was perfect. Already can't wait to go back!“
“Frequenting Red Door has become a ritual for my friends and myself, and for a good reason - it's a culinary destination that effortlessly marries an exceptional drink menu with an inviting ambiance and engaging events. Red Door, in my experience, is a delightful journey through flavors with menu items such as the Heihei chicken and drinks such as Oaxacacillin, and Emerald City, and an ever-changing tapestry of events, and a haven of positive vibes.“
“delicious, a little more care could be paid to evenly proportioning the proponents of certain sandwiches so you get a solid distribution ratio per bite & I do wish they’re fries hit a little harder. But they’re bread and meats and stuffing make up for all that and then some “
“Doesn't really serve food, but when they do, it's catered and tastes Fantastic. I've been going to this place for a few years. Every time I walk in, between the smooth good music playing and leather couches, it's a fantastic location to unwind. The bartenders are all friendly and very knowledgeable. They treat you like your home. Definitely recommend.“
“The Tree House Tavern is amazing! I hosted a Bridal Shower here and from my first inquiry to the day of the event, I was amazed. The venue is PERFECT for a shower or a get together with friends/family. I highly recommend their dessert (cupcakes are amazing) and all of their food is scrumptious! My event had about 25 people and we fit comfortably in the rooms in which we reserved. Jacqueline the event coordinator goes above and beyond for her guests. The waiters/waitresses were very attentive to all guests and checked in on the Bride and MOH multiple times through the night. I will recommend everyone I know to check out this spot! Their florist does a great job as well, the decor is amazing. Tables were set very neatly and everything was warm and inviting. I also really love coming here for Lunch/dinner as well. Truly a hidden gem.“
“This Place is truly a hub for such an Awesome Supportive Community. There is always an event going on or just a great place to hang out with friends. The Ownership, Staff and Patrons are welcoming. The Scurvy Dog is a great model for how a local business should take care of its customers. Thank you for being so Excellent.“
“Absolutely Horrible service . Order few burgers around noon and waited till 230 !! And that was Take out!! Unbelievable. they said 20 min …we literally had to leave and go somewhere else just couldn’t wait any longer it’s that bad …. Here’s your warning“
“Food and drinks are great.Visit here often but tonight I had the special which was fantastic. Clams over risotto. First of all there were a dozen littlenecks, second flavor was amazing, third $19? Unheard of! This is not bar food- amazing meals at great prices. I should have taken a picture…“
“Stopped in here for coffee and a snack, the cold brew was very strong, any coffee lover would enjoy it but maybe not for the casual Starbucks drinker. The large was LARGE, think movie theater soda sized. Definitely well worth the price. The almond croissant was good, too. Looks like it would be a fun/interesting place for boozy coffee drinks if I were there later in the day.“
“I am a truck driver this was my first time here. Walked over from the truck stop got beef stroganoff to go it was absolutely amazing. I was sad that I couldn't stick around as they had a live band setting up. Definitely will visit again if I have the opportunity“
“We have added Frankie's to our regular Friday night dinner rotation. The food and the service have been outstanding on every visit. Last night I had an Open Table reservation for a high-top and when we walked in the couple in front of us said they had "called" the previous evening to reserve a high-top. It was pretty obvious, there was only 1 high top available and they had not "called". At first, the staff asked if we wanted a regular table, we declined because we liked the bar area better. In a GREAT customer service move, they immediately honored our hightop reservation and had to put our party of 2 at a 6 top, at the expense of a larger party that may come in. On top of all of this, our server was very friendly, understanding, and attentive. Needless to say, this was one of the best handling of a table "mix-up" we have seen and we greatly appreciated it. Thank you again for a FANTASTIC evening!“
“Apps - Polenta fries were the best I’ve ever had. Nice crispy exterior and beautifully creamy inside. Well seasoned and you get the taste of jalepeño without the spiciness. As someone who makes their own plenty of fries at home, I highly recommend these! We also shared the ribs which were fall off the bone amazing! Sauce had a little kick and I appreciated the garnish with peanuts to provide some crunch!Overall, I think the apps were better than the entree and there were a lot more “small plates” to choose from.Entree - my partner and I split the fried chicken sandwich and burger. Both of which were great sandwiches, meaty and well seasoned. Fries come on the side and had a nice seasoning on them.Service - appetizers came out quick, no issues there. However, for the entrées, I was served my sandwich five minutes before my partner and was nearly done before he got his food. That’s really the only fault we can find!Key Takeaways:⭐️ bring friends to go tapas style with all the amazing small plates / appetizers⭐️ingredients are high qualityWheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“It’s a good spot that stays open later than most places in the area but with really good food. I’ve come back multiple times in one week.Loved almost everything I’ve had here. The charcuterie board comes with soft boiled eggs and toasts.I like the lighting in the evening ; nice and dim but I did see some people needing their phone lights to see the menu. I thought it was perfect lighting though.Great mashed potatoes. Very creamy and maybe whipped? The prices of some items are reasonable and others are a bit more expensive. Fries were $9 and they were great but I just think that’s an odd price for that.It does get really loud in here at night on weekends as they try to transition into more of a bar.Parking is obviously a bit difficult but they seem to offer valet services and I chose to walk instead. It’s also not far from the bus for easy public transportation. You should make a reservation if you decide to come here during popular times like Friday-Saturday nights but most other times are fine.“
“This is a fantastic restaurant with great service. The food was really good and the pace was relaxed. Our waiter was one of the best I have ever had. Extremely attentive and kind. We ate here for Easter. Wide selection of items. Everyone was happy with their meals. We will be back.“
“This was definitely an interesting time, to say the least. We had gone on a Wednesday, and there was karaoke. That was fun! I'm definitely geared for an older crowd and are tight courters. All and all were a good time, and prices were “
“Came tonight to celebrate my daughter's birthday! Food was delicious! My picky eater son loved the skewers! Steaks were phenomenal, as always! Our waiter was super nice, but I felt not very attentive given it wasn't a super busy night. Overall a great dinner at 10!“
“I had a wonderful experience at Nick’s last night. Brought my dad there for his birthday on a reservation I had made the night before. We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! The food was amazing as usual (I love nicks!) and when asked, our server knew where all the ingredients came from (almost all local!) and even turned me on to a new delicious tequila (also from a local family!). Overall, A+ rating for Nick’s!! Thank you!“
“We are from out of town and wanted the "local" experience. The bartender was great and he gave us so much insider info about the city and where to go. The regulars were super, the food was simple yet delicious and the live music was a fun bonus!! Definitely get some local beer and the stuffies!!“
“I just wanted to drop a 5-star review and give a shoutout to Dallas for making us feel so welcome this evening. I called ahead to inquire about mocktails, and was told they could definitely accommodate that request. My coworker and I showed up, neither of us drink, and Dallas made us both amazing mocktails. I often feel like the bartenders in most places are annoyed when you don’t drink alcohol but I really did feel welcome and included and was very grateful. The drinks were great, and I will definitely be back, alcohol or no alcohol. You guys are great! Thanks so much.“
“I've lived here 20 years, have driven by countless times, and had no idea that inside people were dancing. Food was good, drinks were reasonably priced, and the band was good. Loved that folks were dancing in groups, as couples, and solo. This is one of the few places in RI where a vintage adult can go dancing. Yay!“
“OK. LISTEN UP!This is a great choice for local casual pubs.If you want elegance and white tablecloths, look elsewhere.I loved service, food quality, and draft beer (10 stars). Will definitely return and recommend.Waitress was Amanda... the best!“
“Great place to watch a game and have a cigar and drinks with friends. We ordered food and came out promptly. The waitress was very friendly and made sure our drinks were full. Had their own parking lot across the street in busy federal hill, making it easy for “
“We were in town for the fishing show we wanted good Italian food and drove around federal hill we spotted your place and the Sicilian flag (I'm Sicilian) and said this must be a good place. the food was outstanding and so good we did the burrata which was amazing the chicken Francese was out of this worlds and my husbands baked stuffed Shrimp was also out of this world we ended the night with with a cannoli and tiramisu and both were fantastic. This will be our new go to spot when we are up in Rhode Island“
“My daughter and I have been wanting to go here since the start of the pandemic! Finally made it. It is the cutest bar. Small inside but heated patio outside. We went when they first opened on NYE. The most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered. The cocktails were delicious. Definitely going back in the warmer weather •“
“Gilligan’s is GREAT! Been my local for a number of years…the owner Amanda has tastefully updated it since buying it, yet kept the great friendly, welcoming feeling. Nice wine list, local crafts & a good place to catch a game! Give it a try“
“My friends and I thoroughly enjoy the Providence location and wanted to experience its East Greenwich sister. We had a marvelous time! Courtney took care of us; she was friendly and attentive. Our apps—fried zucchini, fried burrata ravioli, and blackened swordfish—were very good. And I loved my veal chop. East Greenwich may be an excellent alternative for those who find the social, club/bar atmosphere of Circe-Providence overwhelming.“

“What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.“
“It’s just all around amazing. The food is fantastic and the service kicks-ass. Madison, Ashley and Alex on the bar are phenomenal. My husband is a member of the Mug Club too! The Gold Digger pizza is literally one of my favorite pizzas of all time. The Goodfellas sandwich and eggplant rollatini are awesome too. Just go cuz if not, you’re missing out!“
“Unwined is a local lounge that serves great food. It has a nice selection of beer and wine (try the St Francis Cabernet Sauvignon) and a few cocktails in a can. The food is fantastic and far better than you would expect for a lounge. Primarily Italian food, the chef executes everything to perfection. They have a basic menu of appetizers, sandwiches and charcuterie, and every week the chef has a different entree menu with five or six items on it. The chef is so good, I am wondering why he isn't cooking for a big restaurant. Well, at least here he has control over the quality of the food. If you are in Rhode Island, stop by for a meal and a drink between 4 pm and 9 pm and thank me later.“
