“Went with my son last week for the first time and had the muscles and chicken wings, both of which were incredible. We brought home the mac and cheese, dumplings and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was fantastic. we agreed it is the best restaurant around. I went again tonight with my husband. We had the friend oyster appetizer special and filet, both of which were incredible. First off, if you are a sailor, this is your home away from home. You’ll meet other sailors with fantastic stories.

Secondly, if you are not use to the ball busting style of a RI bar tender, don’t come here. You won’t understand. (Hence the reviews from “out of towners.”). But, if you have a backbone and a respectful, yet smart mouth, you will be right at home.
