“Generous, generous portions of lobster in their lobster rolls. Some of the best lobster rolls I've had around the state. Calamari fritters with their boom boom sauce is a winning combo. Then there's the fried oreos, which I could eat a very dangerous amount of. The french fries are always crispy. I'm so glad our town has a seasonal place like this. It's easier to enjoy with their new outdoor seating, too. This definitely isn't my first time eating here but I've been here enough now to leave a review. Can't recommend enough.“
“I visit RI frequently and try to make a stop at Pagoda Inn each time. The last time we went was one of the best visits we've had in a while. Food was steaming hot and fresh, and delicious as always. I wish we had a place like this in NH!!“
“I may be the luckiest oyster eater in the world -- living nearby American Mussel Harvesters. As a former commercial shellfisherman (quahogger), I know what fresh seafood means to the taste buds, especially when it comes to shellfish. The selection and freshness of oysters, mussels and quahogs is unmatched by any market. And the kind folks bent over backwards to ensure that my late order of oysters on Christmas Eve would be fulfilled. It was either American Mussel Harvester oysters, or nothing. And they had the package of the finest oysters from Rhode Island ready for pick-up, despite closing for holiday. Looking forward to Christmas Eve oysters on the half shell! Thank you once again AMH!“
“Food: Fantastic warm rolls, chowder and clam plate. Great daily specials for only $22 each. We had the pork chops -- they were so lean that, without any fat, the meat was tasteless. That was the only downside. But the portions were huge with 2 large sized chops, and very very generous sides of sweet potato mash and shredded brussels sprouts. Maybe we just had bad luck on the chops. We'd come back again to try something else (or for the appetizers). Service: Our server was amazing too. Forgot her name but she's a 30-something lady with short light brown hair. She was so warm and welcoming.“
“If the sea is ever calling for you, go to the coast guard house. If you are hankering for a beautiful seafood dinner, go to the coast guard house. If you want to feel the beauty and the grandeur of old Rhode Island in one experience, go to the coast guard house. It is a sea lovers love song ?“
“Delicious! We got the charcuterie board, Thai mussels, and the seared scallops. Everything was very tasty and the flavors were rich. Service was very friendly, welcoming and informative. Beautiful restaurant on the water! Would love to dine again :)“
“Unique culinary experience. We got the wine tasting and non alcoholic tasting.. I’d recommend both. They enhanced the flavors and enriched the experience.Food was great and filling.Staff was kind and knowledgeable. We sat in a small quiet dining room, although the hotel was beautiful, we would have preferred the larger dining room.I would go back ?“
“The food was excellent. Coconut shrimp app, veal parm, chicken parm, and grilled salmon for the three of us. The sauce on the parm dishes was terrific. We shared two desserts of the blueberry and lemon cake and the hazelnut gelato. Service was very good, although a smile was difficult to receive.“
“My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.“
“What a great first stop after getting off the plane for our first trip to Rhode Island! We had to have some new England Cod which DID NOT disappoint!Tried this crazy thing called unsweet tea haha also delicious. The cheesecake was phenomenal, I was a little surprised by a lent menu but it looked great and the view was just perfect. Thank you for the warm welcome“
