“Honestly, this place is amazing. Only the NY Fulton Fish Market could impress me more. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I bought a side of smoked salmon - you’d have to go to Zabar’s for better quality. Fish cakes, stuffed lobster tale, you name it. This is Rhode Island’s best kept secret.“
“All elements of the Mews are fantastic! The dollar bar is spectacular. Beer selection is incredible. Beers are always the right temperature and taste great. Food was wonderful. Even after being so impressed with food and beer, the top of it all is the service. The people at the Mews are remarkable and they create a welcoming, hometown feel that makes it all so special!“
“We rented one of the igloos for our team outing and had a WONDERFUL experience! We were sat in the tropical themed igloo, which was so colorful and inviting. The igloo was beautifully decorated and well appointed, including blankets, a fireplace, and even a JBL bluetooth speaker. Our server John (Johnny) was an absolute gem. He took such good care of us and made our evening feel like a celebration. The food was wonderful, and the desserts were out of this world! We would highly recommend dining here, whether you're local or visiting. Thank you for an awesome evening!“
“What can I say. If you love seafood or to eat period then you need to come here. My sister took me here when I was pregnant but unfortunately I couldn't each much cause my stomach was sensitive to flavors. I could really only stomach the snowcrab legs but i had no problem with that. The king crab legs were so big I did not feel like cracking them all open. They had so many options from deserts to cookies to seafood to steak and many more. It is definitely pricey but worth it.Kid-friendliness: family friendly“
“Unique culinary experience. We got the wine tasting and non alcoholic tasting.. I’d recommend both. They enhanced the flavors and enriched the experience.Food was great and filling.Staff was kind and knowledgeable. We sat in a small quiet dining room, although the hotel was beautiful, we would have preferred the larger dining room.I would go back ?“
“My parents and I had lunch here last week and loved the ambiance. The decor was fun and quirky, but warm. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only reason that I am giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the menu is limited for vegetarians. They did have a veggie dog option, so I had a kimchi dog and it was great. My dad had the gabagool sandwich and said it was delicious and filling, and my mom had the grilled cheese. We shared a basket of fries, which was large enough for the three of us. The fries were a bit overdone, but still pretty tasty. We will definitely go back, but would love to see a few more vegetarian options next time.“
“I got a gift card for Christmas and used it here I love seafood I got clam chowder it was ok I got the oyster sampler was fresh and delicious I ordered a oyster knife but they gave me and extra one they I got the cocktail sauce and the oyster sauce dip the squid was great I cut into rings and made calamari and the steamers were great too scallops were huge“
“Very affordable good seafood. The lobster salad was amazing!!! Fresh large pieces of lobster with tomatoes, avocado and blue corn chips. I ate the entire plate! Really fresh and tasty. My husband ordered the seafood chowder and it was good. In would agree with the other reviews that it was a little salty. For the main course I had the grilled salmon with crab cake. It was a lot of food. The salmon was very very good and the salmon was good. Too much food. My husband had the stuffed shrimpAnd he ate everything on his plate. It was also very good. For cocktails I had the grapefruit martini ?. I really enjoyed it. Tasty and not too sweet. My husband has the very (black berry?) old fashioned and it was also very good. We will definitely return. The service was also very friendly and attentive.“
“Can't say enough! The staff there hustles, they are busy, they try their best to accommodate you all! People want the same great experience at Georges Resturant, so relax and quit your complaining. You don't have any idea how tough it is serving the public. They are human people!!“
“The Chop House Grill has been our go-to place every week for years. We went again tonight and sat at the bar to eat and interact with James Tsai, our favorite bartender and server. He is a true expert at his job, and is frequently observed training new waitstaff. He gave us perfect service as always. A newer member of the staff is Max, whom we also enjoy dealing with. Both are ideal representatives of the Chop House Grill. Kudos! I wish that we could give 10 stars to "the Chop" and these amazing people.“
“My wife and I went 2 days in a row during our valentine day weekend it was really quiet/slow the first day and food came out so quick everything was perfect. Next day it was really busy. We were seated right away and the food came out just as fast as when the place was dead. This kitchen knows how to move!! Everything was great my wife got the steak and eggs. It was hands down one of the best breakfast steaks we’ve ever tried! If your looking for a cozy comfortable place to get a quick breakfast then stop here! Thank you too the Chef!!!“
“The food was great with a menu that offers something for everyone. As a non meat eater it isn't always easy to find multiple me use items to choose from. They took care of our table 8 with ease and everyone was pleased with their meal.“
“David and his son, Nick, do a fantastic job running this place. Always great music and food is always good tooParking: They have a very big parking lot. You can always find a spot.Kid-friendliness: I believe in the summertime. There is a pool out in back Kids can use it to a certain time of day“
“Our 1st night there got gluten free fish and chips and was amazing! My brother got the regular fish and chips which they cook in a separate fryer and his fish was almost double in size, but I didn't complain because I was happy I could eat. The waitress was extremely knowledgeable about gluten free and allergens. Went back for lunch another day and got a GF chicken sandwich and fries. Bread typical GF crumbly bun so if you have no choice like me you deal. Had to skip the sauce because there was gluten in it, so again, grateful for the waitress being knowledgeable and on top of it to be sure those with allergies are safe. Parking very tough so if you have someone who can't walk distances go during an off time or drop them off and go park somewhere. I would choose this as a regular option due to my dietary restrictions as long as they remain safe. Always good to start your order with "I am allergic to.." if you don't call ahead.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Friendly neighborhood restaurant. Very yummy food! Super worth going and it's like Richards pub but like ... Better in most ways except that it's far. Our waitress was really nice and had the best ink!Parking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“Just stopped in for lunch with my grandmother. Service was great they accommodated my grandmother who could not sit at a high table. I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese and I think it was the best grilled cheese I have ever had. The pulled pork was sweet and tender, the blend of cheeses complimented the meat so well and the bread was perfection. I definitely recommend and will be back if I find myself in the area!“
“Spain came highly recommended by close family and we had to try it out for our little getaway to Narragansett. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the tables were spaced out just enough so you didn’t feel on top of other patrons, the music, drink and food was all delightful. The clams and shrimp & saffron rice paella were decadent and perfect for sharing between 2 individuals. We will absolutely be back!“
“We love going here. We pick out our lobsters from the fish market downstairs and they take it upstairs and cook it for you. For us the bigger lobster the better. Clam chowder also had lots of clamsParking: A few spaces in front of building but nice big parking lot next door. Free in winter.“
“Love this place! Great service, amazing cocktails, scenic views, delicious food. Leslie was our server this past visit. She’s friendly, personable and attentive. The tall drinks are the best, the freshest seafood and generous portions. Absolutely can’t wait to return for drinks and lunch or dinner.Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff and boosters available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor entrance, all on one floor.“
“I was there recently for course event that was sponsored by the restaurant. Each course was extraordinarily thought out with wonderful taste bud treats. They also had it paired with wine that was simply lovely. Hands down the lamb lollipops jumped off the plate and happily landed in my mouth! They were pulling that night but our primary server was Marco. Delightful, Prompt and Professional. The atmosphere was n8ce + well renovated. I think for a casual dinner with friends it's perfect. They had a nice bar too.Even though it's a long drive from where we live, We will definitely be back. A yummy go to in Charlestown.“
“Stopped at Twin Willows on our back to Connecticut. The pizza was hot and tasted fresh. There’s also a big variety of pasta available along with proteins. My wife and friend loved their pasta choices. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly and was able to handle eight guest at two tables. The interior is spacious and clean. Five Stars.“
“We had a delightful (off season) lunch at this lovely, spacious restaurant/bar off the main road in Charlestown, RI. We ate at the beautiful wide wooden bar and had a delicious and reasonably priced meal. The service was friendly, local, prompt and attentive. My cajun spiced flounder with horseradish aioli over rice with salsa was delicious, a very generous portion (made two meals) and spiced perfectly rather than the limited bland "cajun" food served elsewhere around here. The Garlic Bread Bites were also delicious. A lovely, quiet, delicious and very affordable meal just a minute off the beaten track. Highly recommend it, especially off season in South County, RI!“
“The cheeseburger was delicious, one of the better ones I have had in a long time! My kids are picky eaters, but enjoyed the chicken basket and fries. Be prepared to be ripped off of course, but at least everything tasted good. Is conveniently located at salty brine beach!“
“I forgot to take pics of my food. This place is one of my favorite places to visit. Today, we had whole belly clams, which were made perfect. We were a little early, but went to the bar and had a drink b4 they opened. The staff is always so polite. I had a bloody Mary, and my husband had a beer. the bloodymary was so good. Our app. Was mussels in a wine sauce w/bread, so tasty, The clams were perfect, unbelievable, they tasted perfect. Jariod was the bartender, he is very friendly he always smiled, engaged in conversation, He listen and held a convo well paying attention to everyone one else's needs. His coworker, (didn't catch his name) was very attentive as well. Jarrod was very knowledgeable about clams and oysters, where they came from. Usually we sit at a table, this was the first time eating at the bar. I will definitely eat at the bar again. Thank you Jariod for the awesome convo, lunch was delicious.Parking: Valet parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, there is valet parking, a ramp. Very helpful“
