“My dad and I went to Jack’s Family Restaurant this weekend. My dad and I live in Pennsylvania, but with recent family events we’ve found ourselves in Rhode Island a few times within the last month. My dad said Jack’s looked “the same as it always did,” and he smiled the entire time. We ordered the little necks casino, clam cakes, clam chowder, and seafood zuppa (and we splurged and got the lobster). Everything was great! We thank the staff and chefs for a wonderful experience. Everyone was kind. The food was delicious, and quickly delivered to us to be devoured. We had a wonderful experience & will definitely be back. ❤️☺️“

“Good place. Good atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. Interesting take on basic sandwiches. They use pretzels that they bake and make there. These are not pretzel rolls, they are actual pretzels which adds a little fun to the sandwich. Great bill list“

“Wonderful curated bookstore! Not only do they have adult books, they have great children books and greeting cards. The owners Alexa and Emory are the nicest pair and make the store so welcoming. I also love that you can order any book online through them. Definitely check it out!“

“Consistently the best live music spot in Providence these days. One of the last great Blues/Jazz/Rock clubs in Providence and all of R.I.“

“What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.“

“My daughter and I have been wanting to go here since the start of the pandemic! Finally made it. It is the cutest bar. Small inside but heated patio outside. We went when they first opened on NYE. The most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered. The cocktails were delicious. Definitely going back in the warmer weather •“
“Food was really good. Staff was wonderful. Atmosphere was lacking. Place was full of old men getting wasted mid day. Kinda pathetic actually. Brought down the overall mood to watch 60+ year old men making passes at young bar and waitstaff. I'd give it another try to see if I just happened to catch it on a bad day, but if that's the overall vibe of the place, it would be a shame. Lot of potential between the menu and staff.“

“Very cool place with great music and staff. Monday night jazz is awesome!“
“This is by far my favorite place to go on a Friday or Saturday. The cocktails are well thought out, the vibe is casual, fun and always enjoyable. I love bringing friends to this spot with the hope they enjoy it as much as we do and continue to spread the good word.“
“Just tried this charming spot on Thursday and have fallen in love with the drinks, atmosphere, and service. The location is prime (right on South Main) and the inside is cozy, full of character, and gives off speakeasy vibes. The woman who welcomed and served us was more than willing to answer any questions about the drink menu, which had the perfect mix of cocktails (ranging from fruity to herbal and beyond), beer and wine. We ordered the Limoncello Spritz and punch — both tasted AMAZING, plus were poured into pretty glassware (aka making this place a hotspot for IG-worthy pics, which our hostess also advised us on regarding best lighting!). All in all, The Walnut Room is PVD’s newest gem and offers stunning, safe (remember: wear your mask!) service and space, which makes these not-so-normal times feel pretty special. Go support this new biz/bar on South Main!! 😍“

“Great place! Wish we lived closer so we could come again! Charlie was AMAZING ? ? Very knowledgeable about the drinks, great personality too. We came in right before a small lunch rush so Charlie had a chance to chat with us for a little bit. Food was great, cheese burger sliders and smoked hickory wings were my favorite! Hush puppies were good too! The seasonal Candy Apple drink was delicious! The only critique I would give would be to add maple/honey/hot honey to their bacon brussel sprouts (I got a side of honey to add, which kicked 'em up the notch I needed) Overall, great experience and food!“
“Very fun dive bar, featuring cheap drinks, keno, pool table, juke box, and karaoke. It's cash only but there is an atm next door, and no food but you can bring or order your own! Bartenders are phenomenal, and karaoke with Nat King Cool is a ton of “
“Do not live here if you care about your car. On two separate occasions my car was vandalized and my roommates car was stolen from the off street parking. The landlords have done nothing to improve the security.“

“I came by for a night stopover for my trip back from RI to Atlanta. Friendly bartender. He cooks me a good steak and then talks me up on the LLWS. Cheap drinks, local company and good food. 5 stars. Oh yeah. Cash only.“

“The Stable has changed for the better in the past few years, it feels like a more inclusive space for everyone. The bartenders are very responsive and make excellent drinks. The price for cocktails is excellent compared to other bars. This is the perfect pregame spot before making your way to other bars and clubs. Or if you like a relatively calmer place to meet new people, it’s also great for that too. There’s a outdoor patio area in the back. There’s a small stage/DJ booth for the various shows that occur throughout the week.“
“A cool little cocktail bar in an old residence on Federal Hill. It’s right in Luongo Square, a beautiful intersection with a cobblestone street and fountain out front. Very Providence. While most people are gonna come for the cocktails, they also have a decent beer and wine selection. The prices are surprisingly affordable, and the service was quick and friendly. There’s seating inside and out, although if the benches outside fill up the little red chairs/tables are not the most comfortable. The inside is also a bit excessively dark, but all in all a good spot for a drink, especially if you’re feeling classy.“

“I got outrageously hammered here and miscalculated my tab when it was time to sign it and ended up tipping them in almost 100%, which would have been way too much even tho they're good folks. luckily they were kind enough to notice and not debit all that money from my card so 5/5 will come again“
“When I first moved to Bristol, the Kinsmen immediately became my favorite spot. The staff truly goes out of their way to make you feel at home and you never run into the obnoxious college kids you may run into at other local bars. Cheap drinks, big screen TVs, jukebox, Keno and cheap pool tables are just the beginning of what the Kinsmen has to offer. They host different leagues depending on the season and often have buffets for different events. A step above your quintessential small town watering hole.“
“One of the oldest pubs in the United States, just not the same name lol. The Son's of Liberty drank here! They still serve Half-Yards! A beer drinkers Mecca they have dozens of bottles and draft options. Priced right. One caveat, they haven't painted since the Son's drank there so keep a sense of humor. Great place for some suds. I've been a customer for over thirty years.
Dietary restrictions: As long as it's beer or whiskey you are good!
Kid-friendliness: Not!“

“This is the sister club to Avery it's a nice place in located in pawtuxet village it is quiet and quaint. Generally The waitresses they are good unfortunately the last night I was there the waitress that I was behind or the bartender that was behind the bar was not overly friendly a bit cold and standoffish. Almost in to be waiting on friends as opposed to the regular customer I thought she was almost nasty but generally the other bartenders that I've seen there are very nice and attentive.“
“I recently visited Providence for the first time in 6 years, and one of the things I was looking most forward to going here again. And in all that time passed, it did not change or disappoint. Cheap, great beer selection, and good cocktails to boot. Pool, darts, board games should you want.“

“Great restaurant, perfect area.“
“Cool little venue in Providence. Acoustics are nothing to write home about, but a nice spot to catch a show. Bartenders were great, bathroom was in pretty good shape for a concert venue, but the floor really needs to be addressed. The floor wasn't just sticky, it was borderline adhesive. You could actually hear what sounded like ripping duct tape when people walked. It felt like walking around on fly paper.“

“Lovely intimate speakeasy with superb, creative craft cocktails and small bites. I give them huge kudos for maintaining an atmosphere where adults can enjoy a date or a night out with friends and not be overwhelmed with inappropriate shrieking. The vibe is lush, reserved, romantic, restrained, but very approachable even on a busy Saturday night when we went. Table service was attentive but not hovering.“
“I had Portuguese steak yesterday me and my friend but let me tell you something it was the best Portuguese steak I've ever had and the people are fantastic especially our waitress she was awesome if you want a good Portuguese steak this is the place to go thanks for everything enjoyed it“
“My family has been going to the Son’s since my grandfather (Papa Lou) moved across the street over a decade ago. We hosted my daughters 16th birthday party in the upstairs hall and had a wonderful time. Everyone is very welcoming and I just love the popcorn served. It is a great place!“

“All ages karaoke is back on Sundays 4-7, and we were so excited to be a part of it! The kids
were amazing and had an absolute blast. A great place to bring the whole family for a very unique and fun experience. Also without spending a fortune, as all drinks and food are very reasonable. The Patriot has a present and welcoming owner and friendly bartenders and staff (Manager Carrie, Shannon, Andrew, Tyler...and any I do not know by name yet). DJ Sweet T is exemplary as a karaoke host, and knows how to keep the fun vibes going with any crowd. We usually go on Wednesday and Sunday when he is DJing, and having him host the all ages on Sunday is definitely a bonus! Looking forward to returning this Sunday for All Ages, and any other of the nightly karaoke festivities.
Parking: Private, spacious lot“

“My friend and I came here for lunch. We both had burgers. I had the Burger Bomb with tater tots and he had the Bourbon Bacon Cheddar Burger with fries. We both enjoyed our burgers and I loved the tater tots but he didn’t care for their fries. I also had a Stuffie which was overcooked and we split an order of onion rings which were not homemade and not that great.“

“Wow ! Just Wow! Bursts of flavor on point every time! My husband is the burger guy , he loves it! My palate goes a little deeper ...... Last night I had one of my favorite small hot plates ; mussels topped with fries . The cream sauce is delicious and compliments the mussels so well. I usually stick with fish throughout but tonight I had the Butternut squash and goat cheese flatbread . The combination juts fits with soft center and crispy edges. I honestly could have eaten more apps and dinner because I could anticipate the flavors of each dish. in the past I've tried the duck , pork, shortribs ,pasta and many hot and cold apps. The presentatation is always eye pleasing . The combination of flavors are always on point. Love it there! I highly recommend Rivival Craft Kitchen and Bar. It's a 10 in my book of favorite restaurants. Karen Greene“
