Great bar, great drinks! Would definitely return for Chris the bartender.
Great Sunday Funday bar! Came here with my boyfriend after brunch for a lazy afternoon and had a wonderful time. It gets busy mid afternoon so get here sooner or be patient while the friendly staff makes their rounds up and down the long but accommodating bar.
Stable in Providence has really stepped things up. The new menu is fresh, creative, and full of great options while still keeping the laid-back vibe the place is known for. It’s also the first stop on the Fruit Loop, which makes it a perfect place to start the night. You can tell there’s strong management behind the scenes because everything runs smoothly and the staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Definitely a great spot to grab a drink and check out the new menu.

The Stable has transformed into a more inclusive space in recent years. The bartenders are responsive and make excellent drinks at reasonable prices, making it the perfect pre-game spot or a relatively calmer place to meet new people. The bar offers a huge collection, including alternative drinks to alcohol, and the service is delightful, with friendly and accommodating servers. The outdoor patio area and small stage/DJ booth host various shows throughout the week, with outdoor seating and affordable sangrias that are perfect for Sunday Funday. The overall environment is welcoming, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community, but all are welcome as long as they are respectful. The atmosphere, drink selection, and staff make it worth the visit, even if it is more expensive compared to other LGBT bars. The Stable is a 10/10 recommendation for a night out with friends, especially with the strong drinks and fun atmosphere.
