Great experience at Grad Center Bar! The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly, and perfect for a casual night out in Providence. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and provides quick service even when it’s busy. Drinks are reasonably priced and well-made, and the overall vibe is fun and comfortable. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends, unwind, and enjoy a laid-back evening. Highly recommend checking it out!
Grad Center Bar is a unique spot with multiple rooms, providing a more intimate atmosphere than most bars. The bar is open to the public, but there is a cover charge or yearly membership. The beer selection is impressive and affordable, featuring many different styles, including offerings like Bissell Brothers from Portland, Maine. The ambiance is cozy and chill, especially for Brown students and their friends, who can enjoy free admission with their ID and bring up to six friends. With a fantastic draft list and cocktail selection, the space is fun and welcoming, with incredibly kind staff. The "speak easy" vibe is enhanced by great art on the walls and a dark ambiance. Entry is $10, or $35 for annual memberships starting in September. The cocktail prices are reasonable, ranging from $10 to $12, making it a great place for a pre-game spot, though it can get crowded with students after 9pm.
