“I have been going to Capitol billiards and I’ve known Anthony and the family for close to 30 years But all that aside it is a great place to go and have a game of pool a beer or two and a bite to eat the place brings back nostalgia they have all types of artifacts and everything that makes it look like an old time pool hall not some modern day joint. The atmosphere and the waitresses make it a comfortable place to stay and have a good time I highly recommend stopping in and seeing for yourself“

“My dad and I ate here yesterday for Father's Day. Pops had a high blood pressure episode and we actually had to call the paramedics. The manager and all the staff were so lovely, so discreet, and the most professional, respectful, and attentive superstars I've had help me with a family member having an episode in public. I've been assisted by trained medical professionals who were less kind. Before dad lost consciousness, the food was crazy good and served piping hot. We sat at the bar, and I wish I got his name to give credit because the bartender ensured our spot was clean and our drinks were always full. While the paramedics were checking dad out, a priest even popped in to pick up his order (not kidding), so the establishment even has God's approval. 15/10 would eat and experience more family drama here again. PS - dad's doing awesome, and we're both so grateful for you and your staff's swift intervention <3“

“We visited Honey Bird back in June. The chicken was outstanding so moist and flavorful. The drinks also did not disappoint, the ingredients blend together so well and zero hang over headache. My 6 year had yummy Mac & cheese with fries.“

“What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down.“

Comfortable waiting area outside of the bar if you need to wait to be seated. Knead doughnuts is across the hall. Great options available for a late night snack while you enjoy your drinks. “Great Sunday Funday bar! Came here with my boyfriend after brunch for a lazy afternoon and had a wonderful time. It gets busy mid afternoon so get here sooner or be patient while the friendly staff makes their rounds up and down the long but accommodating bar.“

“Rock’s is the place for good drinks, billiards, and darts. The owner, Cynthia, and staff are fantastic. Cynthia and her staff were so extremely helpful from helping with food to making sure we had everything we needed or wanted. We held a birthday party/celebration of life and had about 25 family and friends get together. It was the perfect place for all of us. Some were able to play billiards, while others played darts, and there was room for people to sit and chat. We had such an amazing time, thanks to Cynthia! I highly recommend Rock’s and we will be back!!“

“Alchemy is always a good place. There are seats and couches which is nice. The bartenders are always really friendly and don't take to long to notice you. Great music and events. Parking could be better but that's why I always park at a parking garage near by and walk to the venue.“

“Look, I'm not a drinker, but if I were, this would be a place for me. My band played there a couple times and man oh man, the place is amazing. It's not where you go to see crazy lights and music so loud that your ears ring, its like cheers“

“One of the coolest bars in the state - and definitely in Pawtuxet Village. A hipster sea captain hang out with great cocktails and some of the chillest vibes around. Piña coladas in the summer are the best, but good beers and cocktails year-round.. and just a short stroll to the bay means there's often a salty breeze to round it the legit nautical feel.

The decor is a more upscale version of Capn Seaweeds (no shade on them - think quirky mad mariner vibe) and still feels cozy. Unlike her sister bar, The Avery, which is blessedly TV-free (which I LOVE!), this place has one TV - but it's actually fairly unobtrusive and pretty fun (they often screen funny nautical things like Boat Zone).“
